Battery life is much better than last Samsung phone. Camera is better than any camera (not part of a phone) I've ever had

I have been a iphone user for some years now and just switched to Samsung. Great decision. Phone is easy to use and does some many things with ease. Love it

Love the phone, although it does take a lot of time to load the email. Other times it loads them quickly. I can go half of the day and it will not load them.

I have had the phone for only one week, but I am so far impressed with the phone graphics and battery life. It also appears to be very easy to use and has a lot better features than my old Motorola droid razor.

I love this phone. I got it for my son and he is pleased. He has had two Galaxy Note phones. He has no complaints so far. I plan to but me one in May 2015.

You can add sd card fpr a fraction of the cost to add memory to an iphone, which makes it much more affordable overall.

I purchased this phone after I got back from studying abroad. It is a fantastic phone, lightning fast, it has a great camera. The battery life is great for such a beast of a phone. Recommend this phone 100 %

This is my wife's phone and she has not had any complaints we both switched from iPhones and it's been about a month and we have no regrets from swithing.

Great phone. Fast most for most every application with the exception of the camera. Camera app is horribly slow and lags. I miss the camera on my S3 and that was far from perfect. Fix photo lag and photo review lag and this phone would be perfect

The only thing I don't like is the "selfie" camera lens is not nearly as good as the regular one. But having this phone makes me not worry about bringing a camera with me. The speaker is pretty great too!

Long battery life, even using multiple heavy CPU driving apps. And it has the function to DISABLE the apps that are pre-installed on the phone that no one uses. This phone is a geeks wet dream come to life!

The Samsung Galaxy line is great so you know the S5 does not disappoint. I got this as a gift for my wife and best of all scored it for $1 online with 2 year renewal. Thanks for the great deal Best Buy!

Review Preview: There's a design flaw known to Samsung, critical to the advertised functionality, that can only be fixed by sending the phone back to Samsung, with a 2 week repair turnaround. This phone is heavily advertised as being IP67 water resistant, and many, including myself, bought the phone at least in part for that feature. The phone has a little flap attached near the USB port that you swing shut to keep water from entering through the port. No flap, no water resistance. I bought 2 Samsung S5 phones about 6 weeks ago. In that 6 weeks, the flaps on both phones have fallen off. There is a design flaw. The flaps are held on by glue, and simply became unglued at the attachment point. Once the glue fails, the cover falls off, and then you are cooked. You won't be able to reattach the cover yourself. So, goodbye IP67 water resistance. I just got off the phone with Samsung. I spoke to a supervisor that told me that Samsung is aware of the problem with the covers becoming unglued, that it is widespread, and that Samsung is treating this as a design flaw He said that Samsung is replacing the cover assembly free of charge, and covering shipping both ways. That seems nice until you consider the following: There is only one authorized Samsung repair facility for phones in the entire United States, and it is in Plano, Texas. The Samsung rep told me explicitly that neither Best Buy nor phone carriers were authorized repair facilities for phones and neither would have the part anyway. The Samsung rep further told me that any attempt to replace the USB cover assembly myself, even if I could get my hands on the genuine Samsung part, which I can't, would void my warranty. The ONLY repair option available is to send your phone to Plano, Texas. The estimated door to door repair time is 9 to 11 business days i.e. 2 real weeks or more. Furthermore, this is a design flaw which won't truly be fixed by replacing the part with a new one. Even if I sent my phone back for a new cover assembly, and waited 2 weeks to get it back, how long before the next cover falls off, and I have to send it back for another 2 weeks without a phone. When you see how tiny the glue attachment point is, and when you think of how many times you are going to be moving the USB cover back and forth, you will realize that this is going to fail again and again. No glue is going to hold it on for long under daily use. So, I strongly recommend not considering the water resistance to be a feature at all. Your cover will become unglued sooner than later, and then like me, you won't be able to go without your phone for 2 weeks to get this design flaw remedied, and you will end up with a phone without water resistance.

I love it. Great picture quality and capabilities. I take this thing everywhere. The only bad point is the battery has to be charged at least once a day.

I bought this phone for my 20 year old son, he was very excited. This phone has excellent features. He loved the finger print feature so he can lock his phone and keep it out of his girlfriend's reach!

This is a decent phone. Has a decent operating system, decent hardware, but it's jam packed full of junk that you CANNOT UN INSTALL! All of this junk that is pre installed and un removable slows your brand new phone tremendously! WAY TO RUIN A DECENT DEVICE! I'll NEVER buy another SAMSUNG device AGAIN!

It has an amazing camera, good call quality, solid battery life. It's also water resistant. If you're in need of a new android phone this one is perfect.
