I was an avid iPhone user and believer. Truth is, I always had problems with them and fairly quickly after every upgrade. I couldn't be happier with my switch to this phone. It does everything I need it to and then some. The battery life, quickness to charge, camera/photo capabilities and the overall quality of the phone surpassed my expectations.

I was considering the S6, as it was the newer phone, but opted for the S5 since it has a removable battery. It was not available in the store, but I was able to find it online and have it shipped to me. Phone works great so far. It is bigger without being too big, has a good sound quality to phone calls, and takes sharp, clear pictures!

This is my first non-iPhone smart phone. It does everything I need it to (calls, calendar, mail, apps, etc.), and it has a mode for kids that has native kid-friendly apps, where you can hand the phone to a child, and they can't accidentally call/text/erase data. Highly recommended for everyone, especially tech-savvy, on-the-go parents.

I love the phone's size and features. The screen is clear with sharp colors and connecting to the internet is very fast. I do a lot of price comparisons and research when out shopping so it is very convenient to use.

Perfect size, takes great picture and real easy to use

I went from the S2 to this phone and wow - what an improvement. Easy to use, great screen resolution. Camera takes really good photos. It also holds a charge well - on a full charge I'm good for an entire day. Sound quality on the actual phone reception is also very good and clear. Recommend this phone, you won't be disappointed.

The Galaxy 5 is the best phone I've ever owned. I'm ecstatic with the camera shots, and love the built in customizing options. The screen is perfectly sized and the easy zoom function means I can see even the tiniest of web fonts. I like the S Health trackers and how they work independently--with no need for other accessories.

I love my Samsung S 5 Galaxy! My favorite part would have to be the camera. The pictures are awesome and so clear. It is very fast at loading apps and jumping from app to app. Doesn't ever lock up on me. One thing I noticed is that I constantly have to turn wi-fi off when not at home or else it will constantly try to update apps or search for service. This drains the phone battery rather quickly and phone can get hot. Overall I would recommend this phone to anyone!

I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5. It is a really nice phone and a great value. The camera takes very nice pictures. The battery lasts much longer than my previous Samsung smartphone. It has really nice features. Overall, I am very happy with it.

This phone is great it is easy to use and it takes great pictures and videos way better than my old iPhone.Plus the color of Artic blue is great not everyone has this color since it is a best buy exclusive. The phone is fast and had it since September and no problems with it. I will not be going back to iPhone again.

My father got me this phone as a graduation/birthday present. We battled our carrier for doing an upgrade 15 days early, but in the end after waiting in store for almost 5 hours we walked out with top of the line phones and we are ecstatic. The HD screen is crazy clear and the camera is fantastic I mean 16 mpx is unheard of for a mobile phone. The amount of technology bundled into this little phone is crazy. I went from an HTC Thunderbolt to this phone and I am NEVER going back to an HTC phone.

Samsung didn't really upgrade the Galaxy series phones enough from 4 to 5 but it is still a great phone. The camera is also really high quality. I like it better than the S6 since it was the last phone to have a removable battery and also external add-on memory. I will be keeping this phone for a while!

Samsung hits another home run. Battery life is fantastic. Size is perfect. My only complaint is the cover fir the battery charge plug. I don't know if it is necessary for moisture resistance, but for day to day use it is a true pain to deal with.

Waited over a year to purchase this phone. It was worth the wait. Love the screen size, camera, side-sync capability w/samsung tablet and sharing capability by just touching the back of your phone. So COOL. LOVE IT!!!! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!!

I bought this phone for my daughter who has maintained straight A's since 1st grade. I also purchased the best buy insurance for those "just in case times" . This phone is water resistant up to 3 ft and for 30 minutes. That is reassuring when your child has this phone. No extra $80 case needed. The fingerprint lock is awesome and works every time. My daughter does not worry if a friend gets a hold of her phone because they cannot get into it. The "bump to share" photos is an awesome feature. We are a family of Samsung phones and when we are at the beach, we don't need to bring three phones with us. We can take pictures with the amazing camera and then bump our phones together to share with each other. If you are used to a calendar on your phone, this one doesn't just show "dots" on the days you have plans. It actually shows the schedule you have imputed. My nephews are die-hard iPhone users and they have been drooling over our Samsungs! I am hoping the Note 4 has some of the awesome features of this Samsung Galaxy 5. No hassle buying either with Best Buy. In and out in 20 minutes!!

The latest Samsung flagship phone lives up to its billing. With top of the line specs, this phone boasts snappy performance and a positive user experience. The best feature is the screen, which shines with vibrant color and vivid brightness. Since I have relatively small hands, I was a little concerned about buying a phone with such a big screen size, but the difficulties are vastly outweighed by the benefits of having such a nice, big screen. The camera has more features than most users will ever touch, but its core functionality remains simple and quick. Pictures and videos look great, and the reduced shutter speed is a huge advantage over most Android cameras. There are more features than you can shake a stick at on this phone, and I'm still experimenting with some of them. The multitasking works well and without suffering performance losses. The fingerprint reader works very well, as long as you swipe your finger at the same angle every time. There is some software bloat, but not as much as many phones have nowadays. The sound is actually quite good, though you have to be careful where you set the phone down or you may muffle the speaker. The water resistance is a really nice benefit, too, as you no longer have to worry about minor spills, rain, or other small amounts of water destroying it. I was disappointed about the health stuff - in order to activate the heart rate monitor and other health functionality, you have to agree to allow Samsung full access to all the health information you put into your phone. No thanks. Unfortunately, this was a differentiator for the phone that is invalidated by privacy concerns. I have also been less than thrilled with the battery consumption. It's not terrible, but it's not great, either. The Power Saving modes definitely live up to their name, but under normal circumstances the much hyped battery life isn't anything stellar. Overall, this is a fantastic phone, and one I would highly recommend. It's not perfect, but it's as close as you're going to get in a whole lot of ways.

I use my phone for business. I get calls ,texts, emails and social network up dates by the dozens DAILY , This phone is faster than my iPhone 5s ,does way more without all the apple drama. The screen and camera alone are a reason to buy. Multi tasks are a breeze, battery life is the best of any smart phone I have (I have 5 currently) This phone is a mini laptop, just outstanding.

My old phone was the S4. Worked okay, but I wasn't happy. This new S5 is the epitome of androids. Ease of use is beautiful. Apps work faster, great quality graphics, and the battery life is unbelievable. I'm still at 70% at the end of the day. Lots of advantages to this puppy. Get one.
