I went from the iPhone 4S to the Samsung S5 and have been for the most part very pleased with the switch. The learning curve is easier from iPhone to Droid than the other way around (which I have done too). Love the big screen, love the vivid colors and backlighting and love the camera. Don't love some of the programs that were included with the phone. Have to hide them instead of being able to uninstall, so it takes up memory and it's just annoying. The only other thing that I'm not a huge fan of is Samsung is not compatible with iTunes which I hope changes soon. Switching music takes a bit of work.

On several occasions it has locked up and the only repair is to remove the battery . This is a problem since I have to remove the case to get to the phone to remove the battery. Otherwise it's a good phone.

I love my new Galaxy phone. I've been extremely pleased. More importantly, my purchasing experience was also wonderful. This is the first time I've not purchased directly through a Verizon store. The sales person was helpful and polite and efficient. The reason I went away from the main store was because I was tired of getting 'company lines' and little customer service. Thank you Best Buy for your Geeks :)

I was very hesitant to buy a smartphone b/c I am not tech savvy at all. I figured the hardest thing to get use to would be not having a slide out keyboard. Turns out, that wasn't such a big deal. Just playing around with it, I learned a lot on my own. Though it has the power/battery saver mode, I still need to charge my battery every night. I needed more education around apps than I did about the phone itself.

The pictures look professional! I love all the apps and flexibility with open windows!!!

Purchased on 4/17. Back in on 4/18 with password to set up email. Back on 4/21 to find out how to work camera. Turns out it was a hardware problem. Got new phone. Best Buy guy downloaded email contacts from Verizon, but Samsung guy had saved contacts to gmail. It was an old list of contacts, but think I have it okay now. Back to Best Buy 4/22 with a few questions. I have two or three more questions now, maybe I'll be able to drive back to Best Buy tomorrow. Slowly, slowly getting the hang of it. Not too intuitive. Pedometer not very accurate. Same walk on two different days read 1.59 miles and 1.03.

It's a lot like the Galaxy S3 but with more features. Love it. I wish I could have gotten the black one for more case colors but I'm loving the Electric Blue too.

Very nice phone, the camera is very very nice. But don't like the silver rim around the phone. Love the operating system I would recommend this phone to my friends.

The service reps at Best Buy at Polaris in Columbus Ohio were amazing and very helpful! The phone is great...love the service reception, how fast it is and all the new extra features. Still wish it was a bit smaller in size and wish I could change the keyboard size and shutter sound. But overall this is a great phone so far.
