I have owned iphones in the past, and after learning how to use the Galaxy functions. I have found that this phone is faster, more reliable and easier to use than any of the iphones out there. I also found that it upgrades much easier to.. Mac users watch out!!!!

I was very was afraid to try this phone because I was coming from an iphone that I loved. Have to say I love this phone! It does so many things the iPhone doesn't do. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the memory size. 16GB is not a lot I did buy a 64GB memory card but most apps can't be loaded onto it and I have had problems setting my camera to save to sd card. They turn grey and you can't view them. So now I save them to the phone and then transfer them over later.

It was time for me to upgrade my contract and phone with Verizon, and I had the Galaxy S3 before. I really like samsung phones, so I knew I wanted to get the S5. So far I have had no issues with the phone after a month of use. I even went back and got the Samsung Gear Fit to use in conjunction with my phone a a fitness tracker, and it's been great so far, very easy to connect and use. The only thing I would change is that on my old phone, I could scroll through all of my screens continuously, but with this phone, I'm not able to, which I don't like. But everything else is great!

Great phone for the average person. Easy to learn.

I'm one of those senior citizens that doesn't like change and this phone is still kicking after over 5 yrs. People tell me that the photo quality is superior, very good ease of use, great Verizon service [AT&T service frequently dropped my calls] and I will definitely purchase another Samsung if this one ever dies.

This is a great phone. I'll be honest...when I first picked it up...i thought it felt cheap...but now I love and appreciate the engineering on it...Its very slim and light...doesnt feel any bigger in my pocket than an iphone. The screen is awesome and it takes great photos. Operating system was not hard to get used to. Overall, theres just more freedom with this phone over Apple. So far so good.

Any smartphone eats away at your battery. I do like that Samsung redid the charger so it charges faster. I was afraid they pulled an "Apple" and made it where you had to buy a whole new charger. Not so, they made it where you can still use the old charger. I'm not into crazy apps and all that so I can't talk about how the phone works in that area. BUT if you need a good phone, this one is great.

This phone is easily an iPhone killer. It can do everything the iPhone can do - better. While Android phones have always been my preference over anything running iOS (why pay so much more for just another flavor of Linux), they have always missed some of the small features. That has now changed. The phone is rugged, water resistant, and features NFC and a fingerprint scanner. The screen is bright and vibrant, and among the best in bright sunlight that I have seen.

I had awesome help purchasing the phone and accessories. I love all the features.

This phone has so many grrrrreat features to it. I is compact and works great.

Had several smart phones, S3, S4 and now the S5. By far my fav. Quite a bit faster than the 4. I did just have a micro SD die on me that I used on my S4, and moved into this S5. I know that has been an purported issue with the Galaxy line. Not sure if the SD just reached the end of its life, and was coincidental or if it is a bigger problem. Love this phone, but love the S4 too.
