I like the messaging app that comes with the phone so I am no longer using a third party app. I did really like the SmartActions on my Motorola Droid Maxx which allowed me to to set phone funtions based on criteria of location, time, connected to bluetooth, etc.

For my experience for reception, speed seems to be about the same as the Samsung III. It is new and I have had complaints of the sound quality from the mic on the phone. (They said it sounded like I was under water). So it is either cellular reception quality, mic quality or similar issue. Mostly I use it for email, web, GPS, and for calls when drivng around due to the poor mic or reception.

This phone is very powerful and fast. The screen is gorgeous. The camera takes very good pictures but is somewhat slow. The Samsung TouchWiz interface is somewhat cartoonish. But overall an excellent phone.

To complicated for me, I like a simple phone....too many features/apps. make for a lot of confusion for me anyway.

I had always wanted a phone like this. Best buy is a great store to shop in and have what you need in store. I'm still learning how to operate the phone. The case is just right for my life style and the price was right for my budget. The galaxy s5 is a good phone.

The whole buying process and setting up my new phone was very efficient. I was even able to turn in my iphone, for more than I thought I would get! Plus, my new phone was cheaper than it was at Verizon!

Call quality is amazing, sounds clear even when talking over great distances! Camera is so great, so much better than the actual camera I've been using! Have even dropped it a few times and no scratches!

Love it. Upgraded from the Galaxy 3 and couldn't be happier. Love that the keyboard always shows the numbers at the top, no more changing views to get a number.

Well, as I said earlier, Its both fast and state of the art. Love the great signal, the 16g camera, and the new gadgets and apps on the phone. Google speak is awesome. And lastly, the navigation is fantastic, I live on the road and this nav tool is a life saver.

Everything about this phone is wonderful. The battery could be better as it drains fairly quick when using apps consistently. Otherwise picture and sound quality is immaculate, great speed, user friendly and sized just right. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

WeatherBug doesn't function unless the GPS is on, which helps drain the battery but this phone is much better than the Droid I had previously. It didn't come with many ring tones so I will have to import them or buy them. Overall though, I'm pleased with it.

I am a 1st time smart phone user and waited till I found a phone I wanted to trade up to. The Samsung Galaxy S5 was just the phone I had been looking for. EASY to use, GREAT screen and camera, just plain fun as well as functional. THANKS BEST BUY & SAMSUNG !!!

I have owned this S-5 for five weeks now. It is my first Smart Phone. It makes attaching photos to a text or Email so easy. I have joined the TEXTING generation.

I have had this phone since the first week it came out and been nothing but happy with it. The battery lasts 2 days+ with how I use the phone. Apps are quick to open, close and transition. The camera is pretty good, nothing spectacular but its good for a phone.

I have had brand phones but this was is the best! I have compare phone to other phone for awhile befor I choose this one and it proved me right, this phone far exceeds my expectations as far as a phone goes, I am truly a happy customer,thank you Samson.Galx.

I am a smart phone beginner but operating this phone was easy. It is just like a computer and the help option keeps everything you want to learn at your finger tips.There are no limitations to what this phone can do! You will not be sorry for purchasing it.

Upgraded from a wannabe smart phone to this one. Night and day difference. This one is outstanding! And much more user friendly than my older one. In fact, my niece is seriously thinking of going to this phone from her iPhone when it's time for her upgrade!

Thank goodness I talked my wife into getting this phone. She has been so much happier with this than I expected. Efficient, fast, practical and perfect size!

My only complaint is that there are not classes available for those of us who are moving to a new phone and really do not know all the bells and whistles of our new phone. It would also be an effective way of encouraging me in two yrs (or sooner) to come back to Best Buy to make my next phone purchase.

So far so good. Has some minor issues but nothing serious. Takes great pics.
