This is my first smartphone, I am still learning how to use it, but has great features. My only complaint is that Best Buy is so busy, the salesperson is overwhelmed, which makes our "learning sessions" difficult.

This phone is awesome. I upgraded from the S3 to the S5 and I could not be more pleased. The Ultra Power Save mode is awesome and make your phone last for days!

I love my galaxy s5!! Phone runs super fast, has a great screen resolution, excellent camera, and is very user friendly!

I had an LG G3 and it broke and decided to try the Galaxy S5. Compared to the G3 this is a downgrade. The G3 outdoes this phone in nearly every single aspect. However, I'll just list what I personally dislike and like about this phone. I'll try my best not to compare the two too much. Cons: Slow. The S5 is slow and it gets slower and slower as time goes on. The Samsung OS CHEWS through resources. This not only slows down the phone but it causes the battery life to drain fast. I suppose this is a product of a smart phone but I've had other smart phones, the G3 for example (sorry for the comparison), that I can use longer than the S5 can last on standby. When using the S5 (granted heavy use, data on, Milk Radio in the car, some phone calls, texts and some web browsing) I am lucky if the battery lasts the whole day. Again that may be because I use it so heavily but compared to others it doesn't stand close. I've tried rooting the phone, as rooting doesn't void the Best Buy warranty (only the manufacture's warranty) but that failed to install because of a Samsung update so I'll have to have another headache trying to speed the phone up. My other issue is the inconvenience of the volume and power button placement. 98% of the time if I want to press one button I end up pressing both. Volume up? Nope. Lock the phone. Lock the phone? Nope. Change volume too. So it's not natural to use the side buttons. I had to adapt and figure a good finger placement and even that doesn't work every time. Other small nitpicks that I miss about the G3 but if you weren't spoiled before this phone, it won't bother you. Pros: I love Milk Radio. It's great. Probably the best part about this phone. (Even though you can get other programs just like it but it comes stock.) Sometimes it'll crash or lag out but it's great to use this phone for music. I got the G3 when it was newly out and there was a bug with the audio jack and the S5 is flawless with that part so I was happy about that. The interface for the default programs are quite clean and easy to use. A personal plus for me is a flash light widget. However, I got a third party alarm clock as the default one turns off after one minute and that's not good for a heavy sleeper. (I might be missing a setting somewhere but I looked and didn't see an option to change that.) I still like the clean interface though. I like the notification bar a lot. When a text or call comes in that you missed, there is button right on it to reply or call. I thought that was really neat. The brightness setting is right on the bar and that's pretty nifty also. So overall it has its perks but it's a downgrade from my last phone. If you want a fast phone either root the S5 or don't get it. But it's a decent phone. Sorry for comparing so much but I was spoiled by the G3!

Held off getting a phone without a qwerty keyboard for as long as I could, but I LOVE this phone. It's easy to use and has a "help" button if I have any problems. Can't ask for better than that!

I finally joined this century & got my first smart phone. This phone has so many things that it can do. Will take a long time to figure it all out. Haven't had any problems so far . It's awesome!

I love my Galaxy S5. So I bought my son one and he loves the speed for his games. I don't even need my home computer this phone does it all.

Very easy to navigate. Battery lasts a long time. Love the size. Not crazy about the new map person voice.

This phone is very easy to use. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to electronics but this phone is very user friendly.

It's faster than my old phone it's slightly bigger but not that big the pictures come out so much better

Bought this as an upgrade for my sister and daughter. They love it. I can say that i am digging that blue color also. Truly under rated. Of course phone is great also. Very fast.

I recently purchased the Samsung S5. So far the only issue I have had is that the messaging app stops working. I don't know if it's the phone or my service provider. Other than that it's wonderful. Fast, easy to use, and easy to switch from the S3 to the S5. I do recommend that you clean your phone before you transfer all your data. All unnecessary data, remove, or you will waste many hours of your time waiting for it to transfer.

Great phone but didnt like the new upgrade overall if your a samsung lover its a easy to use phone

I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S3 to S5. The processing speed and displays are noticeably improved. This phone and the Apple iPhone continue to be the best in their class.

What else is there to say. I love the Galaxy s5. the camera, picture quality, the fact is also tracks your daily steps and more.

Upgraded to S5 from S2 and a big difference with battery life. Especially like the health app. I now can see how far to walk, each step is counted, great visual goal!

You can never go wrong with this phone, unless the 6 is out. But for now the 5 will do. The camera can easily replace all point and shoots and the screen is amazing.

Just traded my S3 for this S5 and am so pleased with this device. There isn't much that it can't do and I am really enjoying the camera which takes great pictures.

The S5 is a sleek and good looking phone. Not much different in looks from the S4 however does have quite a bit more features and is faster. After owning the phone a month I have had no major issues, it seems to give me better reception than my S4 with the Sprint network. The new water resistant design is a great improvement however if you use a battery case most likely it will loose its water resistance.
