||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the phone after seeing all of the awesome advertising and upon purchasing the phone, I was estatic. The camera did not disappoint and the interface has been cleaned up a lot compared to my 8 plus. Everything else was a disappointment. When I was fortunate enough to finally make a call, it would abruptly drop. Then I noticed that it was a paib using data. i was unable to use apps such as google maps, youtube, pandora, sens text or check emails unless I was connected to Wi-Fi. Even when my phone shown that i was 4g LTE. Initially I thought it was my service provider, so I contacted them several times. They replaced the sims card and performed several other trouble shooting. They were only temporary fixes and would last no more than 10 mins. I reached out to samsung and best buy upon realizing that it wasn't my service provider because no other lines on my plan were having these issues. Best buy told me that they were unable to assist me because I was past my 14 days. I puchased the phone on march 9 at 7:52pm. March 23rd they said I had exceeded the 14 days and should try turning the phone on air plane mode and back off to fix the problem... The troble that this phone for $1072 caused me isn't worth it. Finally, samsung released a software update on march 30th. It helped with my dropped calls but did not address my data issues. This experience has soured my prior experiences with beat buy and samsung. Not sure if I will continue tondo business with either in the future.
