Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G's camera, praising its quality and performance. They also appreciate its long battery life and user-friendly interface. However, some users find the phone to be quite expensive and a bit too large for their liking. Additionally, the lack of eSIM support is seen as a drawback compared to other brands.

I purchased 2 of these phones in January 2021 . Its now May of 2023 and both phones are still excellent. No problems at all with either phone . Camera , phone, speakers, video pkay back all still perfect !! I did buy a sd card for both phones and have so much storage still .I love my Samsung galaxy s20 ultra 5g phone. I would recommend this phone . Great purchase!

#1 - the screen recorder is excellent & the editor is great. #2 - the ability to take UHD images that allow you to put on acrylic is pretty sweet. I got the 12ram | 128. You need to get a large sim card. If you take pics in 108mp mode and shoot in 8k, you'll drain quick. I'm a nerd, this thing is awesome and worth the 1.5k. Questionable: i have 12gigs ram, but it runs with 3.8-4.5 regularly.

Great phone once you get past the flaws & hype

Here's the truth about the GS20 Ultra...it was marketed on gimmick features instead of the core features and I think that was a mistake. The screen is great, the battery life is great, it's fast, and the cameras are great with an *. The core features shine but the gimmicks are where this phone comes up short and that's why reviews are mixed. Here are the cons: - Great screen that makes watching videos and movie content look amazing. Best screen of any smartphone. - Great battery life if you turn off the 120Hz refresh rate and use the highest resolution. - The new Snapdragon chip makes this phone fast and smooth. With plenty of RAM I've had no slowdown or lag. - The cameras take great pics that show lots of details. I gave the cameras an * though because I'm not a person who zooms in when taking pics. So far the zoom pics are ok but not as good as advertised. - Comes with the ability to get 5G service. Right now 5G is very limited though and hard to find. Cons: - The price of this phone is very high and probably a deal breaker for most. I was given a $300 trade in plus a $300 store credit. Without those discounts I'd pass on this phone. - Too many advertised gimmicks that fail to live up to the hype. 100 times zoom photos are grainy and bad, 8K videos can't be seen in 8K unless you go buy an 8K TV, and the 108MP photos barely look better than the 12MP photos. The 120Hz refresh rate is cool but after 2 days your eyes get used to it and you don't notice it. The iPad Pro has a 120Hz screen but it doesn't make 60Hz screens seem "slow". - Only available in 2 colors right now. - Samsung is slow with bug fixes and software updates especially compared to the iPhone. A new iPhone always has access to the newest and most current version of iOS but new Samsung phones don't get the newest version of Android for 6 months so they tend to run old Android software. Bottom line...buy this phone for the screen, battery life, speed, and cameras but don't buy it for the advertised gimmicks and "special features". I own the iPhone 11 Pro Max also so I have no bias and focused on the user experience instead of focusing on which phone is "better". By the end of the year this will still be the best overall Android phone and that matters when you are paying this much for a phone.

Great camera (picture was taken while the vehicle was moving at 70mph, notice lack of blur), long battery life and huge screen. Not as water proof as you might want to believe.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra is an amazing phone. Though just to say that this phone isn't for everyone. For its size and price range, it's not for any person looking for a phone to just browse Social Media and text with your family/friends. This phone is mostly for people for either that want to play games (and no i am not talking about games like Candy Crush or stuff of that sort) and have the battery, RAM, and the Storage to do so or want to use Samsung DeX , which converts the phone into a desktop with a USB C to HDMI Cable or a DeX Station that is sold separately. The little thing that bothers me a little is the fact that due to the 12GB of RAM, the phone will be able to have 4+ apps running in the background if you constantly switching apps that will cause you to run your battery quickly, even with the 5000mAh. This is no issue when use DeX but when you are using it as a regular Phone (which most people will), will can get really annoying. The Camera is great but the 100x Zoom is really fucky and just a status symbol more than an actual function you'd use in a daily. This also goes with the phone being able to shoot videos in 8K. The phones Resolution goes up to 4k so you wont be able to see the video in true 8K and will be a downscaled 8K to 4k Coming from a regular S9, this phone is huge and I love. If you are a tech enthusiast and want to get one of the best overkill phones in the market, then the S20 Ultra is for you. Other than that, i suggest people to get the S20+ or even the A51 if you want a really good cheap and good Samsung smartphone that has the same storage and camera as the S20 ultra just without the 100x Zoom

I can seriously say that this has been the best phone I have had. The picture quality is amazing, also with the video quality. I really enjoy the snap dragon 868 processor that it has, it make every thing run much faster. I also love expanding the memory, because I purchased it with a 128GB and I received $160 in rewards when I purchased this phone, so I used that to purchase a memory card, and when ahead and purchased the 1TB memory card from Best Buy the Scan Disk Extreme Plus. I knew it was too much memory that I dont think I will ever use but I still can use the card on another future cell and I also I wanted to really test it and see how would it respond with a 1TB memory card, and it does really well, I haven't noticed any draw back with or with out the card. I would like to test it on a 5G network, but that system is still in a few cities. Being an Ultra phone, it does come with an ultra price, the price is the only thing I would have liked to be lower.

Originally bought this phone in gray but switched for black as it looks more sleek. Excellent design. Incredibly fast with data or wifi. Easy to use operating system. Great camera but makes phone uneven when planed. This phone will be too big if you have medium sized hands.

Absolutely amazing phone. The quality of the phone is better than any other phone I have owned. Battery life is good, lasts all day with a lot of use. Takes great pictures. Only con would be the expensive price tag on it.

That's right, it's an amazing status symbol! Its huge, amazing screen, very heavy, feels totally premium. Takes great pictures with plenty of features. Theres not a lot about this phone that turns me away, except it is freakishly expensive. But, for all the things it offers under one roof, you're getting a PREMIUM device. No regrets here, upgraded from a samsung galaxy s5. From the research I've done, this device will stay relevant for a long time. My only other gripe, besides price, is you gotta have some deep pockets for this phone...literally. it's quite tall.

So far so good. I felt good about buying the unlocked version... verizon is still my carrier for now. But they had bad form of customer service at verizon when I went for a new sim. Camera has been very good. Good water proof/resistance and i drop it a lot and it is in a case. It is rugged. Literally it was drop kicked. No damage. Works fine in encased cases. Good sound. Charges fast. Really fast, no 5 g in my area yet so i cannot comment on that specifically. It has a slippery feel so I needed a case. Took it kayaking with dry case... did fine being dragged in rocks and water.

I have had this Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G for about a month and it has been great as far as speed and storage; however, my last phone was the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and in my opinion there isn't much difference in the way they operate nor the capabilities. The ONLY thing that I see different so far is the camera :( Since I don't really care about it, I don't feel that my purchase was worth it. Great phone, but it is very expensive for the same thing as previous models (S8+).

I absolutely love this phone. I've not had any battery life issues even running the 120h screen. Once you play games at 120fps you will never want to play it at 60 again. Camera is good for what I use it for. It's fun to use and show off the 30-100x zoom

Oh my world! I am super excited with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and it comes in cosmic black which is sleek. This phone is easy to navigate and the charger is super fast too. The battery life takes days before i charge it up again and the screen size is the best part for me. It comes with 4 camera's,my pictures are so clear and all i can say is this right here is the best phone for me right now. I love it.

This is my first Android phone since the original Motorola Droid, the one with the slide out keyboard. I am loving it. It's so much better than my previous smartphones, which was a decade of iPhone after iPhone. The battery had been awesome, and I love the huge screen. The only downside is waiting for Samsung to release the 5G update so the unlocked version can access Verizon's new 5G network.
