Customers recognize the Galaxy S21+ 5G 256GB's superior camera quality and excellent battery life as significant strengths, frequently praising its ease of use and ample storage. The larger screen size also receives positive feedback. However, the lack of a headphone jack is a recurring point of concern for some users.

The Best Buy employee, I believe his name was Dylan(?) was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in ordering the phone and setting up the phone with Verizon when I went to pick up the phone. He made the process painless and actually a pleasure.
I love the new phone. It is so fast and I I have had a Samsung phone for years so I do like the familiarity. The camera is better than my old 8 and the fingerprint recognition is better than the 8 also. Although it is not perfect, sometimes it takes several tries to read my fingerprint. I did register 2 fingerprints. The battery life is excellent. I don't like that the auto rotation feature is back. I liked the 8 where I had to tap the rotation symbol on the face of the phone.
I also like all the new features on the new Samsung Active watch. The battery life is great and I like that the watch band is changeable.

I am a die hard android user and this is the best phone that I have ever had. The memory is more than I'll ever use and the camera is AMAZING. The battery charges fast and lasts a long time if your not running multiple things at a time. The only negative is that you need an adapter for ear buds.

My note 9 was getting slow & full & not receiving anymore updates so I decided it was time for a change. Wanted the new one plus 9 pro but didn't want to pay $1,000. Best buy ran this on sale for memorial day & I was able to get it for less than $500 with a trade in. Got more ram, more memory, & better camera & phone. No SD card but I've discovered they make falsh drives that connect to USB-C so I can save all my pics that way then transfer them to an external hard drive. It pays to be patient & shop around holiday periods for new phones. Samsung promises 3 years of updates so I should get 12, 13, & 14 before I need a new one.

No problems with this phone that I've found. Great camera. Miss the expandable memory and the headphone jack but seems to be the trend for them to go away. I don't game on my phone but I've not noticed any screen lag. Does everything I've asked of it so far.

Great upgrade from my dying S7

To put this review in perspective, I upgraded from an old Galaxy S7. The S7 was slow and severely showing its age. But when I took off the case, it appears the battery was swelling up and pushing the back off, and was very hot on the right side... time for a new phone before a total meltdown. Best Buy seemed to have a better offer than Verizon by opting for the payment plan to save $400. The S21+ is really not physically much bigger than my S7, just a little longer and just slightly wider, so I was pleased about that. I was also able to keep my current cheap plan and not have to move to unlimited.
Transfer for my old S7 to the S21 was painless and did it wirelessly using their smart switch app. I did have to re-sign in to all my email and apps though, but that was expected. All photos, videos and apps were moved. There was one or two old Verizon specific apps that did not transfer, but I just had to re-install an updated version of the app. One was the NFL app and the other was the Verizon Call Filter.
There is practically no delay in opening apps now, and with 256GB of storage, I don't have a need for a SD card... so the lack of that feature doesn't affect me. I also like that it can auto-sync photos to Microsoft Onedrive.
The onscreen fingerprint reader has been good to excellent and I like the smart lock feature which allows me the ability to avoid the frequent task of unlocking it while at home or near specific devices.
The only downside for me, and it is probably specific to my situation, is that the photos do not seem to have depth information in them for use with the new Looking Glass Portrait holographic display device. So I took off a star for that because it appears Samsung deliberately removed depth maps from this series. It might be that it is in their raw (dng) format via AI (no depth camera), but Looking Glass does not support that format. I might have been better off just getting the S20 FE which I believe has been verified to work with the Looking Glass.

Great quality phone. My first Samsung was a S8+ and I really liked it, but the 21+ is really impressive. It has 5g and cant wait till my area has it. The prcessor speed from 60 to 120 is better. The only thing I miss from the 8+ is being able to use a micro sd card. The 21 series dont have it. Its really not a big deal. One thing I really like is as you are looking at your screen it won't time out. Keeps you from tapping back on. I recommend the Samsung 21+.

I wanted the 256 GB storage so that I don't have to worry about pictures or videos that I take. A nice seamless upgrade for my old Samsung S7 with lots of storage and so much faster. There are lots of other small changes/upgrades but the interface is nearly identical. Got a great price with $300 off just shortly before the release of the S22.

I upgraded from my old Galaxy S8. My old phone would need to be charged twice a day. The new S21+ only loses about 50% of it's charge in a day. the display is clear and the faster refresh rate is a real plus. The cameras give much better pictures especially in low light or at night.

Samsung S21plus is definite upgrade from prior Samsung S10plus. The resolution is sharp and video streams easily. The major change I really like is the volume and power buttons are now on right side of phone. Prior Samsung on left side always interfered with calls, with my hand hitting them during calls. Problem solved with S21 plus.
Best Buy offers better deal than Verizon stores.

Great phone! A MAJOR tech upgrade from my previous Galaxy S8. Also very much like the larger screen, and clearer connections when on the network in 5G. So glad I made this upgrade.

The Samsung - Galaxy S21+ has a excellent display and takes really good pictures. I would suggest getting the model with the extra storage since you can't add storage.

For a phone that is supposed to be "all the things" it falls short. The screen is sharp and clear. The notifications and sounds are sad and lacking. There are not many choices and everything sounds the same or just stupid. It does not back up automatically to Google regardless of how many times you set it. The print log in on the screen is not accurate and often fails. It does make and receive calls, provided you can tolerate the lack of ringtones. It is not intuitive. I returned the device after a week or so.

The phone is fine and all that good stuff. What the issue to me was that it only came with the charger cord. No wall charger plug. Why would Samsung do that!?!? I was made to feel like I had to buy one.
When I arrived home I discovered that the wall chargers I have are still good for this phone because it is compatible with the Note9 charger cord.
Also there is no headphone jack so you gotta buy wireless buds. What Samsung or Best Buy should do is offer a bundle. Phone, ear buds and charger plug or wireless charger stand.

So far so good. The bigger screen is nice. The battery lasts at least a full day. Switching from old phone was not extremely difficult. No negative comments so far.
