If you are the kind of user who will never take the case off, i guess they won't fall apart. I'm not, so it looks pretty beat up after 3 weeks.

The silicon coating is starting to peel off the hard backing in chunks. It's a shame, because even though it's a dust magnet, this case is slim, good-looking, and stands up to a mild drop.
