I was a fan of the Note series so was excited to get this refreshed model. The camera functions are cutting edge and have an impressive amount of zoom for a smartphone (cool osprey photo from 50-75 feet away attached.) The night-mode function is really useful for getting low-light shots and is a game changer. The user interface is snappy and screen-casting to televisions via SmartView (even non-Samsung TVs) works perfectly. Another feature that's surprisingly handy is the wireless power sharing feature, which lets me inductively charge earbuds, smartwatch or friends' phones in a pinch.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S9, which meant a real step up in performance, size and screen. The phone is very smooth and fluid . The additional optical zoom on the camera makes it much more capable. The S pen is nicely integrated with the phone. I am able to get thru a day on a fully charged phone; if you do a lot of videos that would impact the battery life.

I love it. The camera is sharp and crisp. Only downside it no SD card slot. Battery is ok not great. By afternoon I'm down to 65%. Overall I like the phone and the ability to dim down past the lowest brightness for eye comfort at night is great.

I have never owned a Galaxy Note series phone so my review is going from s10 to the s22 ultra. I can say I am happy with the larger phone, screen and software. I have experienced some software issues between Samsung Health and my Galaxy Watch Active2 data syncing. Ive had to delete app and reinstall a couple times now. That's getting old. Other than that I am liking the note taking features and since I like journaling and lists, I am glad I waited until this phone was released. I like the weight and feel of this device in my hand. I did have to get used to the battery level. The Ultra battery can show 50% and still have a days worth of use. My s10 at that level would not have made it through a day. One downside is that phone charges faster on cord than my 25w samsung wireless charger. I honestly have not used the camera features enough to review.

I have been a long time Iphone user and just made the switch with the S22 Ultra. It's been a few weeks and I'm still on the learning curve, but overall extremely pleased with the phone. The cameras are amazing and so easy to edit pictures. The stylus is a huge plus for me. I'm still learning all the things it can do, but love how I can use it to take pictures remotely. I'm very happy with my switch to Samsung.

A perfect successor to my old Note 20 Ultra. Great cameras, performance, and the stylus seems to respond better than previous models. Liked it so well, we also replaced my wife's S20 Ultra with one.

Great phone. Upgraded from S9+ to S22 ultra. The phone is a little large, especially with a protective case. The curved edges of the phone are kind of annoying sometimes if you're trying to touch screen something on the edge. The battery ife isnt as great as I had hoped, but it's decent. The flashlight doesnt seem as bright as my old phone. Also, Ive never had an S pen and that's a little weird to try to figure out. Dont use it much but there are a couple cool features for it. Otherwise, the phone is as great as i expect from Samsung. The camera is amazing! No major complaints.

Out of the box the phone is beautiful however on the edges there are scrapings which when looking at other floor models seem to be a production issue. Asthestics aside, there are alot of bells and whistles but in my opinion nothing has significantly changed when I compare it to my GS9+. The stylus is a nice addition. The battery life is terrible. My galaxy 9+ is easily at least 4 years old and could go 2 days off a full charge, 7 when it was new. This new phone gets 2 days on a full charge and that is without major use (no streaming, gaming, excessive browsing etc.) My old samsung would fast charge on the Samsung wireless charger in 2 hours and that's proving to be the same with the new phone however it does charge faster with the USB C cable. My other pet peeve is that the message app on the phone is not compatible with the message app on the new galaxy 4 watch so I had to force stop the new messaging app and use the old app in order to still get messages on my watch and phone. Overall, if it had not been for the huge discount when trading in my phone, I would send this phone back.

Love this phone. Came from a note10+ this has a 5000mah battery where my note had a 4300. This has the pen still and the camera is amazing. It had 120hz screen which is pretty cool and Samsung is doing 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates so it should last you. I wish the green one was in stock but I got the white one and it looks good

Going from a Note 20 Ultra to a S22 Ultra i dont see much of an upgrade eccept in the Camera department. Wow the camera lenses on this thing is awesome! When i had heard the Note line of phones from Samsung was being discontinued o was utterly heartbroken... i planned on keeping my Note 20 for years until it broke... but i am overjoyed that the Note lives on in the family of S22s! The S22 feels premium, looks premium, and is performing well overall albeit a few little buggy issues with bluetooth connecting and routing things differently from my Note 20. Ill have to look into this some more. Specifically, I have a Amazon Echo Auto, and a Fiio BTR DAC in my vehicle. The Fiio BTR is connected using a line out to my car's Aux input. My phone connects to my Echo Auto, the Fiio, and my car's handsfree entertainment receiver. This is how my Note 20 was setup and everything connected fine before. Now with the S22 i am having to manually select my media output to Fiio everytime i get in my car and start the engine. Perhaps this ia a software setting issue that i am unaware of how to adjust? Not sure. This is basically the only issue i have with moving from the Note 20 Ultra to the S22 Ultra. The camera upgrade alone makes my bluetooth issue pale in comparison. This is a great phone!

I have always liked Samsung quality, the camera on this phone is awesome. The quality of the display is very good, it is like a hand held tablet, it is almost as big as a tablet. The battery has lasted up to three days plus, I can not complain about that!

I love this phone, big upgrade from the S20 ultra that I had. That phone's camera issues were more profound than I thought they'd be. This phone's camera is amazing. So far nothing negative to say other than once again no memory card slot for memory expansion.
