This is a replacement for my Zflip and I couldnt be happier. You can tell it is excellent quality because if the weight. It also takes the best pics! Many, many other features to explore.

A little under 2 years and it still works fine, scratched up but the phone is clean. so it works.

High quality case. Sleek and very protective. I like how there is a see through window on the front.

I love it! The only thing i wanted on top of the awesomw case is a finger ring or someway not to drop my phone.

I loved the flipcase for my S8 - it had a clear front, it had an always on display, and best of all it worked as a kickstand. It's only downfall was that the "hinge" part of the kickstand in the flipcase was weak and after a while would break down. I bought this flipcase for my new s22 hoping that it would provide the same utility. It doesn't. First of all it doesn't have the kickstand capability, but i know they probably got rid of this function to increase its longevity so I'll swallow that change. The next part was that the cut out at the front of the case is literally a cut, which I thought was actually clear part that would continue to protect the front for the phone when case was closet. However it wasn't until I went to take a photo with the cover flipped back that I realized the purpose of the cut out! it's so that I can flip the cover over and take a photo or video unencumbered. When I had the flip case for my S8 I would have to hold my phone like a little book to take photo, so this is an improvement. Overall there have been some sacrifices in this new flipcase in comparison to the flip case that I had for my S8, however I will concede that all these sacrifices were in order to make room for other utilitarian improvements in function and longevity. I still wish I could have the benefits of both cases but it's not a perfect world and this case does well in the real world.

I have used the older style S View cases on other Samsung phones, and they seem to provide the best overall experience for someone looking for a slim style case, but wants to protect the front. Seeing notifications is great, and being able to interact with the screen differently through the updated design's rectangular cutout helps with the practicality and functionality of this case. The materials they use in this model seem to be higher quality or reinforced better than the last models I have used. Get this case and try it for yourself!

Well made case and the phone does a small screen on the opening when the case is closed that is very useful. Pretty cool design by Samsung and it actually feels useful instead of gimicky. Bulid quality is great. Protection is good when it is closed, but an open drop without a screen protector might be an issue. That seems like it would be a pretty rare occurrence, but it is a bit of a trade off if you go without a screen protector.

Beautiful with good care and protective product and the design

Even though the Samsung branded S-View line of protective cases have always been my go-to as far as being my primary daily use phone protector, I can't help but feel that each yearly iteration seems to take just as many steps backward as it does forwards. The material and build quality is probably the best that it's ever been and I absolutely love the look and feel of the case. After all these years, I just can't seem to wrap my head around how Samsung has yet to truly perfect the product though. The case finally fully wraps around the phone, leaving exposed edges or corners, but this comes at the cost of the case no longer being able to fold out and be used as a stand. And once again, there's no magnet that helps keep the screen covering portion securely fastened to the rest of the unit. It still flips open incredibly easily, preventing any sort of protection if you happen to drop your phone screen first.

I recently purchased this "flip cover" phone case for my new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's slim and waterproof. When I close the cover, the cutout allows me to see the date and time. When I flip the front panel to the back, the cutout allows me to take photos -- it's not covered like my previous. I highly recommend.

The product feels nice in the hands, the cover is very nice as well, especially with the opening on the front for the visible time. Only downside so far I have found, is there is no way to keep it propped reliably with this case, even with trying to use the cover as a leg.

Nice case, keeps the screen covered but I can still see the time and seems like it should do a decent job of protecting the phone if I drop it but doesnt add a significant amount of bulk to the phone when it is in my pocket!
