My HP computer does and you hear the fan revving up to cool it (I guess), but a cell phone? I don't know about keeping it I just wanted a mid-range phone with alot of storage/memory and I'm not sure this is it.

The lip of the case that runs above the charger is flimsy silicone and would likely be the first part of the case to break with extended use. The phone does not sit firmly within the case, and can start to slip out of the case by just holding the phone in your hand a certain way while using it. Do yourself a favor and buy a nicer case that will either offer more protection or higher quality.
