Switching to this model, there's nothing new that makes me happy. It's bigger so doesn't fit well into my small to average size female hands, and the camera doesn't at all seem to be any better, so it was almost a waste of my money & these phones aren't cheap! it works fine though, just seems basically the same as my S22.

It features a much faster Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, significantly better battery life with a larger 4,900 mAh battery, and a brighter 6.7-inch QHD+ display. It offers 12GB of RAM compared to the S22's 8GB, improved cameras, faster 45W charging, and a more modern, durable design. The Galaxy S25+ camera is a notable upgrade from the S22/S22+ due to the ProVisual Engine for improved image processing, 8K video at 30fps (up from 24fps), and a 12MP front camera (up from 10MP). While the main hardware (50MP) is similar, AI features and better low-light performance provide a sharper experience. I'm coming from a Note 20 Ultra, and was shocked to find that the newer generations are thicker, with flat screens, but fit in my large hands just fine. It's a great aesthetic. I miss the bluetooth s pen from my note, a lot, but this phone is great if you don't need the stylus. I will probably trade this for an S Ultra when I get the chance.

The camera is outstanding, the battery life is a lot longer, it has a lot larger storage for pictures and the processor is a lot quicker.
