Customers are delighted by the Galaxy S6's camera quality, ease of use, and screen size. Many also appreciate its design and the range of features offered. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the battery life. The lack of expandable memory and the absence of water resistance are also frequently cited drawbacks.

Great phone! I'll give it that for sure. Charges super quickly. Great camera. Battery life leaves a bit to be desired. Screen size is good. I dropped it once in the case and since then the rear camera makes this funny sound like there's an angry bumblebee in there, also shakes the image on the screen I'm trying to take a picture of while it makes that noise and it wont stop until I focus the screen onto something and touch the screen. I dunno what that's about. Hot! The phone runs pretty hot pretty easily. Started out with immaculate battery life but the longer I have and use it normally it's going down sooner. It sometimes goes that I unplug my phone at 630 am and by 10am it's already in the 60s or 50s percentage battery range that's with somewhat heavy usage, playing music stuff like that but even with minimal usage it's still in the 70 percentage. I would recommend to a friend but it comes with this warning. This is just my story....... If these complaints could be fixed to where they'd be preventable. Overheating and I understand it may have broken the camera a little when I dropped the phone it does however still work. But dropping it once shouldn't break something such as a camera. And once the system software update happened my autocorrect went weird, was immaculate before that tho. I've got my ups and downs about this product. Great in some ways, not in others. Not trying to be overly negative about this product. Just being honest.

It looks fine, but the screen sensitivity on this phone is almost unuseable. I have contacted Samsung directly about this and there is no fix, and no adjustment available. Samsung just lost me as a customer. A quick Google search confirms that it's not just me.. Stay away from this.

This phone was no doubt a very well-made phone by Samsung. I hesitated in purchasing at first because the phone did not include the SD card ability. Storage was a bit of a problem, but the aesthetics of the phone was superb.

Upgraded from Galaxy 3.
The 6 is beautiful, functional, and fast.
Battery life so far so good. Gets me through a day no problem.
32GB of memory is more than enough. It's twice what I had, widh SD card on the Galaxy 3. So much better than my wife's i Phone6. Enough said.

Too much like iPhone. Personally found it not user friendly having always used samsung phones. Didn't notice any changes worth the upgrade. Brought it back the next day and kept my old s4.

Excellent Phone With A Few Sacrifices

I've had the HTC M7, LG G3, original Moto X, Iphone 5S and the Nokia Lumia Icon and this phone is by far the best I have ever had. The phone is super fast from opening apps to getting into the settings. The screen is by far the best on any smartphone, the camera is top notch and other than battery life which can be alleviated by a wireless charging pad, Mophie case or any external battery case or a external battery pack. The build is at the moment the best of the best however the glass is extremely slippery. I put a clear skin on the back and a bumper and the sides which took care of everything.

I don't understand the gripe about battery life

Granted this was my first full day with the phone, but I was extremely weary about purchasing the phone based on the reviews I had seen about the battery life. My old phone was an HTC One (2013) and I liked it, but the camera had a common defect and the charging port was messed up, leaving me to wake up to a dead phone from time to time, however, the battery on that still held up close to the same as it did when I purchased it. I read reviews about the s6 lasting around 4 hours, and barely lasting 5 or 6 when not in use. Maybe it was due to some previous software bug or something, but here's how my day went according to my battery life:
-Unplugged the phone around 8:30 AM, 100%
-Used phone during morning and then Spotify on the way to work around 9:15, 97%
-First break, using phone for Spotify and games like Boom Beach, ended around 12, 89%
-Lunch, using phone for same as break, as well as for Facebook, ended around 2, 70%
-Last break, used same as before, ended around 4:30pm, 65%
-Off work at 6, 62%
Since then, I've played quite a few games and have browsed stuff and have been becoming one with the phone, and here we are at 11:20pm and I still have 19% battery left.
15 HOURS AND IT STILL ISN'T DEAD.
Now, since I was so weary about the battery life, I did look up some battery saving tips, and I think the lifesaver is turning off auto brightness. I keep it at a pretty low level indoors because it doesn't need to be bright to see it, outdoors I raised it to the amount I'm comfortable with and leave it. The brightness slider is extremely accessible on this phone so it's not a hassle to change on the fly. The auto brightness on my HTC One was an annoyance anyway. If you were outside and a sliver of shade covered the sensor, the screen would be too dark to read in the sun, and the brightness changer on that phone wasn't as accessible as this one. With the 4K screen, at lower screen brightnesses, the screen actually looks like it's a high quality print rather than an electronic display. It's hard to imagine unless you actually see it in person but it's awesome.
Also for further information on data usage in the schedule listed above, when at home it was on WIFI, but at work it was mobile data.
This phone has already blown my old phone out of the water and into space in every way including battery life and I didn't have to give up losing an IR blaster when upgrading to a new phone since the S6 has one as well!
Out of all my phones, which isn't many (a few flip phones, EnV touch, Iphone4, HTC One (2013)), the S6 is by far my favorite, which should be expected as technology develops. I'm sure there will be a phone that's even better in a month, but this is probably one of the best you can get right now.

Nice device but it was much better to wait for the S7 Edge to come out. Faster, and built better.
