However, some users express dissatisfaction with the battery life. The lack of expandable memory and the absence of water resistance are also frequently cited drawbacks.

I love the camera that it has, it takes very good quality pictures, much better than my last phone, iPhone 5. I like the android phones better in general. The calendar is also awesome! Love it!!!!

I thought the Samsung S6 was going to be the bee’s knees. I’m sad to say I’m disappointed. I switched over from an iPhone 5s and some features the android operating system offers will keep me on their side versus apple. However, it will not be as a Samsung S6 user. Pros The phone is better than apple and great because it’s compatible with a lot of stuff. Another bonus to having the Samsung S6 is that I can purchase any app free of charge. Additionally, the fact that I can customize the Samsung S6's display and just about all other settings is also a plus. Cons First I can’t get past the battery, it’s awful. The battery life on the Samsung S6 lasts maybe eight hours with constant use starting with a full battery. Also, the fast charge option and new chargers suck; they break easily and only fast charge 25% of the time. Another complaint I have is the camera. When you take a selfie the camera mirror flips you in the picture. Which causes you to look different than what you originally looked like. The camera also shuts down on a somewhat low battery automatically. My last complaint I will mention is that the talk to text option is almost useless; it never understands you.

Home button wakes phone in pocket - can't disable

The home button wakes the phone and turns the screen on. The button is activated with such a light touch that the phone will turn on in my pocket making my battery life tank. What's more if listening to music or a podcast the button will turn on the phone and then random touches will make the music skip. Pressing the home button twice activates the camera. THERE IS NO WAY TO DISABLE THIS BUTTON SHORT OF ROOTING THE PHONE. If you plan to carry this phone in your pocket, then be warned that you will have 1/2 the battery life, skipped music and a bunch of photos of our pocket. If there was a way to disable the home button this would be a fantastic phone, but as is, the thing is junk.

I admit, I am not a fan of TouchWiz, however, this is the first Galaxy device that makes TouchWiz hardly noticeable. I am in love with the screen. And the camera is definitely a huge selling point. Android 5.0 is taking awhile to get use to (why is copy & paste so difficult) but this phone is the best Android has to offer imo. That is until the Galaxy Note 5 is released. All in all, I am quite content.

Got this phone about a month ago and let me tell you it's the best Samsung that I have had. It is a bit smaller than the Note phones, which makes it easier to handle. The color on the screen is wonderful. My main love of this phone is the camera, the pictures are clear, colorful, and very precise. This overall is a great phone and I would recommend it highly to anyone seeking a new phone.

I had the Galaxy S3 previously and liked the phone, but was irritated by the lack of battery life and some functionality issues. The Galaxy S6 has a much improved battery life (on normal use I only charge at night) and the rapid charger is great for situations where you need to charge up quickly. The operating system is smooth and quick. I haven't regretted the upgrade yet!

I was stuck between this and iPhone 6. I chose this because it was cheaper so far works well love the split window and pop up window feature. But a couple of my apps are glitchy. Really really fast. Love the fast charging.

I love the size and most of all the camera on this phone. It is so much better than the htc m8 I previously had. Even the front facing camera is excellent. It is very easy to use and has many features that I am still learning about. I purchased in white. It has subtle changes on the exterior from its predecessors but looks great.

The phone is great overall. The only issues I have encountered are overheating when charging. I like to use my phone when it's hanging for dear life. And the swipe on the phone isn't supper accurate as my last phone.

I've only had this phone for a few days and so far so good. It would be nice if the battery lasted longer and new customers were allowed to get the contract deal. The $300 gift card was nice and the guys at the store were great. I guess we all have to start somewhere.

    Black Sapphire, NOT Black

    Posted .

FYI Only... the color is Black Sapphire, not Black. The phone is dark blue to me... which is why Sapphire is part of the color name. I love this color. If you are expecting Black Black, then let this review be a notice that it is NOT Black Black. I recently upgraded from the HTC One M7. The M7 was my very first smartphone... very late to the party, I know. When I got the M7 two plus years ago, it was between it and the most recent Samsung Galaxy. The M7 was free (Black Friday), and the Samsung was not. And while I loved the M7, a Samsung is what I really wanted. I only buy Samsung TVs, and will now likely only buy Samsung smartphones and tablets. Very nice product.

    Samsungs worst flagship phone

Ive had this phone for ~3 months now and it is so full of issues and downsides they hardly make it a worthy upgrade from the S5. The limited storage is the biggest issue so far. Carriers and apps are not ready for cloud storage so why would you get rid of the SD card slot??? Now that it supports GearVR, the storage limitation fails even more.. every VR experience is 700-1400MB for a few minutes of 3D video. Of course.. that is all the hpone is good for (a few minutes of 3d Video) before it overheats and needs to take a break. Attaching the phone via USB to transfer files feels so dated... and if the phone dies your data is lost as opposed to being on a MicroSD card. The smaller battery mixed with higher resolution screen is a mega fail. Its super slippery.. you HAVE to have a case with this phone. PROS: MST makes samsung pay 1000x more useful than apple/android pay. Fast charging and built in QI charging is great. Anyway.. wait for the S7, the leaks suggest it is fixed many of the issues people have with the S6.. most importantly the SD card slot.
