Pros:
Display: Arguably the best smartphone display to date, a Quad HD (QHD) display with over 577 pixels per inch (PPI), the contents on the screen really jump out at you. The Super Amoled screens patented by Samsung have only gotten better with each iteration of their phones. You have the choice to make the display super saturated and make colors really pop, or dull it down to a more true to life look with the display mode Samsung has implemented into the software.
Camera: Again arguably the best smartphone camera to date. Using Sony's IMX240 sensor along with a new f/1.9 aperture lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) really helps the S6 and S6 edge outshoot the competition when it comes to low-light shots and camera altogether. The phone also records in 4K, the front facing camera is bumped up to a 5mp camera with real time HDR. Samsung has done a wonderful job with the settings and user interface for the camera, really simplified things making it the best choice to go with for a really great camera with not much effort to take great pictures. There is even a "pro mode" that lets you really dive into the settings and manually set things such as iso, aperture, and other settings to get the right picture.
Performance: This thing is stupid fast and powerful, Samsung used their own in house processor for the phone, the Exynos 7420 which is an industry first octa-core processor built on 14nm technology. Essentially it uses significantly less power (about 35%) less than other competing smartphones that use Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors. Another industry first is the 3gb of LPDDR4 ram samsung uses, all you really need to know is that it's fast!! The addition of the new finger print scanner on the home button is a much needed upgrade from the Note 4's and S5's. Similar to Touch ID on the iphone.
Internal memory: Now this one is sure to throw a lot of people of, how can internal memory only be a pro? Let me explain the reasoning behind this. In the past, Google allowed users to install or move some of their apps to their SD card, a lot of people took advantage of this option, however and here is the problem with this, most users don't understand that internal memory is and will always be faster than an external source in this case the micro sd card. By moving apps, games, pictures, videos to the micro sd card, the card has to first read and scan the card for each file before loading or opening anything, and the speeds all vary depending on what type or class sd card you have. Were you cheap and kept the same sd card you had from an older phone that was as old and slow as dial up? Or did you opt to purchase the newest and fastest and definitely more expensive class 10 and higher sd card with read and writes speeds in the 80/90 Mbs? Most likely, you didn't want to spend $50-100 on a new sd card and ultimately suffered slow speeds, poor performance that didn't live up to expectations on a new phone and think how can this be? Now back to the internal memory on the S6 and S6 edge. Samsung is using an industry first Universal Flash Storage (UFS 2.0) memory in the phone that takes advantage of speeds much much greater than anything on the market right now. I like to make the comparison between SSD vs HDD. If you have a new laptop or upgraded your desktop to a Solid State Drive, you know the difference is literally night and day. Before it took you several minutes to boot up your computer, let it display the logging into windows animation, then after you log in to your account it takes another 2-3 minutes before you can even open or touch anything without your computer freaking out and freezing. Now with SSD, the computer is up and running, you're logged in and you can open 20 different applications and programs all in about 30 seconds. That is the difference between SSD and HDD on computers, and it's kind of the same thing with the UFS 2.0 memory samsung uses for the S6 and S6 edge.
Charging: Quick charge on the S6 and S6 edge is extremely fast. Most times, I can fully charge my phone from dead to 100% in just a little over an hour. The S6 and S6 edge have the fastest charging battery on the market. The built in wireless charging is also very convenient when I just want to lay my phone down on the table beside me at night without having to search for a cable and plugging it in in the dark.
Six Appeal: Last but not least. The phone is simply sixy.. See what I did there? The Edge is a looker, it will attract all kinds of attention, random people will stop you and ask is that the edge? Simply put, it's a gorgeous phone with a really nice feel of premium material.
Cons: Battery life isn't great, it isn't terrible by any means, it's just not a phone that you can go 2 days or even a full 24 hours with without having to charge. On a normal day, I wake up at 9am. check emails from several different accounts, exchange servers, facebook messages, notifications, text messages etc etc. by noon and after lunch time and having watched 30-45 minutes worth of netflix, I'm down to about 75%. Throughout the day of a couple hours of phone calls, constant emails syncing, paired up to my Moto 360 smartwatch, having another bluetooth earpiece paired up, streaming some music, using gps on the commute home, i'm down to about 40% by around 6pm. By the time I'm going to bed at midnight or 1am. I'm down to about 20%. Although it is nice to know that I can use ultra power saving mode if need be, and that with only a 10 minute charge, I can get 4 hours of usage from the phone. If I come home at 6 pm and have only 40% battery and I'm going out in 30 minutes, I just throw my phone on the charger for 20 minutes while I get ready and I'm already up to like 80% in that short period of time. Guys, I'm a power user, I use on average 30 GB a month of data, over 10,000 text messages, and over 6 hours of talking a day. If I can use this phone to the max without any complaints than so can any non heavy users.

The phone itself has many great features, it is easy to use and has a design that kills. The phones design is very attractive. it's unique shape and figure really set the phone apart from the competition. It fits perfectly in the user's hand and the manual buttons are at comfortable positions for single hand use.
The camera themselves are vibrant and very detailed. The selective fucls is one of many feature the phone has to offer. The front facing camera is quite the surprize. when taking a selfie, the user can immediately see that the phone has automatically smoothes and removed blemishes from the face...no need to edit the photo further.
Overall, this product is something thathey should be experienced first hand.

While so far it has been more ups than downs I have noticed a few glitches with this device already. I am not alone in this. Again this is something that tends to happen when you are the first few to own a device

Had this phone for 25 days and I babied it, never dropped it, did not even put in my pocket most of the time because I heard it could be more susceptible to damaging the screen. That does not matter because it will randomly just crack. I had it sitting in a drawer pulled it out to do a double take seeing what looked like a hair but nope it was a crack. Conveniently starting from the power button (where it is super weak) and traveling downward to the opposite side. Now Samsung wants me to pay $268 to replace screen. Wow....

First off let me say if Best Buy allowed half stars I would give 4.5, not 4. This phone is almost perfect. It has the most beautiful and unique screen ever, it's ridiculously fast, the exterior design is sexy and practical, it has the best camera by far, and fast charging and wireless charging is awesome. The one and only downside is battery life. I came from a Galaxy Note 2 which had a 3100 mah battery and in it's prime I could make it last up to 36 hours, 18-24 hours with regular usage. So far after 1.5 weeks of owning my S6 Edge I am getting on average 10-12 hours with regular usage, and I haven't been able to make it last more than about 15 or 16 hours before the battery runs out of juice. This isn't entirely the phone's fault however as the Google operating system is currently very buggy. There is a WiFi bug that drains battery like no other, and many third party apps aren't optimized for the new OS yet and have battery draining bugs (I had to delete ESPN for example because of it's battery drain). This isn't make or break for me however. To fix the WiFi bug I just went into my WiFi settings and turned off always let Google search for location even when WiFi is off and also set WiFi to never be on when the phone is sleeping. It will result in slightly more data usage (depends on what apps and widgets you have), but will keep the WiFi from draining the battery while the phone is sleeping (screen off). Unfortunately the WiFi bug causes the battery to drain fast when you're connected to WiFi and using your phone (screen on) and there's nothing you can do about that until they release an update to fix the Google OS bug. In the meantime I just disabled or uninstalled all apps that were draining battery (you can check this in the battery settings) and turned off all location features in apps that had them. With all that I can get a good 12 hours of usage before it's time to charge which isn't as nice as my 18-24 hours on my old phone, but all the other pluses I mentioned earlier make the phone worth it. Plus my old phone would take 2.5 hours to fully charge and with fast charging the S6 can go from 0%-100% in less than 1.5 hours.
All in all, the S6 Edge is the perfect phone in my opinion. Once a few updates for Google's OS are released and the battery draining bugs are fixed, this phone gets a 5/5 from me.

I had a galaxy III and just upgraded. I love the edge's curved screen. Pictures and videos look amazing on it. It is user friendly. Also lightning fast with it's general processes. Very fast phone. Am a little disappointed in the battery life.

Wow. Amazing phone and delivers as advertised.
The good: screen, speed, storage, basically everything
The bad: edge screen is a tittle quirky. Especially when the phone screen is off. It does work though- just not as fast as the rest of the phone. I'm sure it's probably a matter of updates or user assimilation
The dissatisfier: battery drains steadily but still holds up much better than expected. This means that I am getting approximately 18 hours of use in a day (between surfing web , work down time , emails post, navigation etc). Also wireless charging works better without a case.
I own an I phone 6 plus as well. While the 6 plus has a much better battery life , that about where the buck stops. Everything else On the 6 edge is hands down light years ahead. Definite keeper.

Pros: Fast, flexible, beautiful phone with amazing photo ability.
Cons: Battery life sucks and edge feature doesn't offer a lot
To start, the screen is beautiful. Bright, colorful and sharp; you won't be disappointed. Pictures are captured exactly as they look on the screen and they are almost instant - very little blur during action capture. I've compared photos with iPhone and these are far superior.
The phone is also the fastest I've experienced. Apps load quickly, screens shift smoothly, and the phone is extremely responsive. Samsung features also make a undeniable nod to iPhone with fingerprint password and Android Lollipop app grouping which makes this the closest non-iPhone phone.
But there are drawbacks: The battery life sucks. With all of these high powered features, I haven't gotten through a full day without charging at some point. While I prefer to keep my phone above 50% at all times, I find that I am charging this phone more often than others I've had in the past. Recognizing this problem, Samsung added a "Ultra Power Saving" mode that will give you 1.5 days of power on a full charge, or a few hours (depending on use) at 15% battery, but this feature reduces the phone to grey scale, limits the phone to essential features chosen by the user and turns off features like wi-fi and bluetooth.
The edge feature has limited functionality. While it is cool, it occasionally interferes with swipe texting and really doesn't enhance the phone that much more than the flat screen. The night clock is a nice feature for those who no longer depend on a lit digital clock and I like that it confirms my morning alarm, but the news scroll and priority contacts features I haven't used and probably never will.
Conclusion: This is a cool phone. Sleek, beautiful and fast. But with the poor battery life and no great advantages to the edge feature, it's not a "must have" phone. If you're looking for beautiful photos with awesome graphics, I highly recommend. But if you are looking for a longer battery life because you can't charge it during the day, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Personally, I'm happy with my purchase and don't wish for another phone.

The sleek design is awesome, I get a lot of comments about my phone. Netflix fills the screen when viewing and the sound is great. It operates so much faster than the Galaxy S5. I love Samsung products and this device only made me like them even more. I thought I would miss expandable memory but honestly, it isn't a big deal at all when you have the 64GB phone.

This phone is amazing fast with a beautiful screen and a camera that puts the screen to good use. I just wish Samsung had stuck with a removable SD and battery. The waterproof feature of the S5 would have been nice as well. Overall I'm happy with the phone.

The phone is pretty solid. Definitely the best Android phone I've owned (Droid, Droid X, Galaxy Nexus, GS4). I really really like the curved screen. I could see the next iteration rolling the screen all the way around to the back. Its a cool design concept and it makes these big phones feel much smaller in your hand. I'm a one hand phone user and I (gasp!) actually talk on my phone a lot. This phone is small, light and easy to use for me. I would recommend this phone to most everyone.
Only negative on the phone has been the point where the screen meets the side bezel is a little pointy and doesn't feel great after marathon sessions of typing (email, doc editing, etc). If you're a case person, this goes away with a nice soft case.

I love the phone because the processor is super fast. The camera takes excellent pictures and has great tracking features. The finger print login feature makes the phone very easy to access and adds another level of security. The edge style is very slick looking along with being very helpful. I love putting the news feeds along the edge. The top 5 favorites along the edge is also cool because the phone can be upside and by the color adjustments I can see who is calling without turning my phone over. Great buy!

-Luxurious feel
-Thinnest Samsung AND built in wireless charging
-Themes are a nice change
-Samsung flip case (optional) has a display screen
Cons:
-No removable/ upgradable battery. I have to leave mine on power saving to last the day on average use. Not a con for people near
-No SD slot
-Not waterproof or virtually unbreakable like the S5

I'm switching from a Droid Maxx and loved the quick access to the camera, but the new home button double tap gives me the quick camera I wanted. The camera is itself is the bomb.com and I can't stop playing with it. The only thing missing as of now is the apps for the "edges" are lacking but being a samsung you know the apps are coming.

These days a smart phone is a smart phone, so I won't go into detail about the interface and all that good stuff, I will just say that it is great and get to the new features/complaints:
The Good:
- The "edge" looks great, and has all kinds of functionality that I haven't had a chance to explore quite yet, but it is awesome.
- The display is clear and videos look amazing
(There are a ton of things that I could go on about; however they are mainly just improvements to previous versions, or a standard feature across the board in new Smart Phones)
The Bad:
- The battery is no longer removable. This isn't the worst thing in the world, but it can be an inconvenience down the road if your phone locks up.
- There is not an expandable memory slot, so however large the built in memory maybe is all you get. This also is not a huge deal since you can plug your phone into a computer and download any older media files you don't regularly review for storage.
Over all this is a great new device and I would suggest it to anyone that is in the market for a new phone.

recently upgraded from the s4 to the s6 edge and I was pleasantly surprised. The edge screen is very slick although it is easy to have unintended consequences if you don't know how to hold it. It takes a little while to get used to but the sleek look and the quick processor make it a big upgrade from the s4. Also the screen is amazingly clear and vibrant.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is sleek and attractive. It fits in my hand and almost allows me to have one handed use (I am a 5'3" woman with average sized hands). It's fast and I really like all of the new Samsung features like split screen, multiple simultaneous tasking, and excellent photographs with more content in the picture - just to name a small number of cool things this phone can do!
BUT...
(1) I THINK THAT MOST OF THE FEATURES THAT I LIKE CAN BE ACHIEVED WITHOUT THE CURVED EDGE.
(2) THERE ARE NO GOOD PROTECTIVE COVERS FOR THE PHONE DUE TO THE CURVED EDGE.
(3) POSSIBLY DUE TO HOW MY INFO WAS TRANSFERRED, SEARCHING "CONTACTS:' ON THE PHONE DOES NOT ALWAYS FIND THE CONTACT. THIS APPEARS TO BE DUE TO 2 SEPARATE CONTACT DATABASES, ONE YOU CAN SEE WHEN YOU SCROLL THROUGH CONTACTS, AND ONE THAT IS ACCESSED WHEN YOU SEARCH CONTACTS. - PERHAPS THIIS IS A BUG THAT CAN BE FIXED.
I would recommend this with the comments I have stated above.

I research all my smartphone purchases since I started getting them with the original Droid. That being said, this was no different, even though I was already coming from a Galaxy S4, I was upset about some of the changes originally (no removable SD card/ no removable battery to name a few). Having had the phone (64gb version) I can honestly say that there is no real reason to be upset about it. It's a great smartphone. My biggest gripe that I did not know going in was that you could not surf the web while talking on the phone due to it only having one antennae. This was something to do with the carrier more than the manufacturer after I have read up on it, although it seems to be that several carriers are doing so. So, if you plan on using it for a mobile hotspot and a phone at the same time, you can't unless it is set up right and you are in a 4G area.
The phone itself is blazing fast and absolutely the prettiest phone I have ever had the pleasure to look at. It would take something huge to make me upgrade next time, or poor battery life after the two years...
