I had a galaxy 5 which is why I couldn't wait to get a 6. I really loved my 5 and this is even better. However, the major issue that I have is that you cannot delete or disable some apps so the battery does not die is quick. that is the only major thing that I don't like. Love so much that my daughter had an iPhone 5 and I talked her into trying a Galaxy and first she didn't like it and now she loves it way more than she liked her iPhone 5. my next phone will definitely be a galaxy.

I love my Galaxys6. I am a die hard galaxy fan, I purchased the original galaxy. It has improved with every model since the first. The camera is spectacular. I love all the features.

I upgraded from the 5 to the 6. I love the camera on the the 6 so much more than the 5. Only thing that I would change is to put some kind of texture on the back of the phone. SLIPPERY

I have had minimal issues. Sometimes screen goes black and it will totally lock up on me. I have only had this phone since October 26, 2015.

I bought my sister and I this phone. She is less interested in customization than I and this was a great upgrade for her from a Galaxy S3. She loves the camera and the speed of the phone (her S3 was very slow and would freeze if she received a lot of group texts).
For myself, I returned it within the 72 hours to avoid an activation charge (Sprint). I was upgrading from a Galaxy S4 where I added a 32 GB microSD card (nice to have the option) and an extended battery (since I work in sound booths with reduced cell signals). You cannot do either of this with the S6; this is a big complaint of loyal Samsung Galaxy users with the Note 5 and S6. I ended up finding a Galaxy S5 for my new device. It's still an upgrade from my S4 in terms of performance and features in addition to a memory card slot and replaceable battery. So now I have 32 GB internal storage, double the mAH battery with my S5 (charge every 2 days).
Long story short, if you do not mind having to recharge the battery 1-2 times per day and use a lot of cloud storage, this is a great phone. If you like to customize and expand like I do, opt for a different phone or wait to see if Samsung reverts back to SD card slots and removable batteries.

the last android phone I owned was a Nexus 5. after owning a Nexus device, I wanted a clean android experience with a little bit of added extras that Nexus devices dont typically provide. Samsung did a great job with TouchWiz on the galaxy s6. It is alot cleaner than past devices. I actually really like it. I didnt like the color schemes of android lollipop too much. Although the colors on this version of touchwiz are similar, they arent popping in your face. Unless you use google's apps. It took Samsung a long while to listen to customers and critics, but they finally got it right. I have yet to notice any lag or hiccups, apps run very good. The camera on this phone is a beast. 4k Video at your finger tips. Battery life was pretty bad the first 2 - 3 days. I get about 10 hours worth of use now in a day, good enough for me. The fast charge juices the phone quick enough if you draw the battery dangerously low. I honestly never carried a spare battery with any phone that could swap batteries. I dont miss the memory card slot, i have plenty of cloud storage. Kudos to Samsung for making such a great phone. The competition has to catch up now.
Pros- Awesome Camera
Super Amoled Screen QHD!!!
Slim, light, elegant design
TouchWiz is much improved
Android 5.0 !
Fingerprint scanner now works flawlessly
Cons: ? Battery ? in the long run. I will hate the day comes when this phone no longer holds a charge.
Other than that, i really have no complaints about this phone. Lets hope Samsung pushes Android updates quicker with this version of touchwiz!

The quality of the construction of the Galaxy S6 seems much better than the past with the plastic back to the new design. I will miss not having an SD card which is why I took the 1 star off. I don't think I ever reached the storage limit of my past phones but it was always nice knowing I had the capabilities. I will have to pay more attention to this and back up things on my home network more often to be safe. You can always use cloud backup but I prefer to keep my things on my network.
Another nice change is the speaker for sound output. The move from the back to the front is much better and have had much better time hearing all my media out of it over the past models. Another change is the missing menu button which now instead pops up your list of windows you had open and the option to close them. No widget for a task killer and memory clear like my S4 which I will also miss. I have read that the battery life is not the greatest but it holds up much better than my old S4 and I absolutely love the rapid charge. I can run my GPS mileage app all the time and the car charger will keep the battery in the 90-100 range where my old phone I would be at 40-50 by the end of a 12 hour shift. As a delivery driver where my lighter and other charging ports in my car that are not constant when the car is off has made the S6 a huge boost on it's battery and my work easier as I have lost 10 hours of mileage tracking on my S4 because the battery died.
Overally I love the phone and while I love it and feel it is a 5 star I have to dock the 1 for the no sd card for extra storage but Samsung delivered still an amazing device.

Nice size and weight. Has a big screen, a great camera, and quick response. Browser is quick loading Web pages and the keyboard easy to use.
The only negative points are with the life off the battery it runs out quick and the phone is not working with PrinterShare

Great screen size, speed is good. Love the color. Battery life and cell service is good. Charges decently fast and can use the cordless charger. Wish I could add a memory card or change the battery in the future. But I love it.

It was time for an upgrade for Sprint so I thought I'd give the Galaxy S6 a try. I've always used HTC products but I was looking for a change. The S6 did not disappoint! The phone itself has a study slim feel and fits comfortably in the hand. The fingerprint reader is nice however I choose not to use it, I feel the pattern is easier to input. Camera takes good pictures and the processor is pretty fast! The only complaint I really have is the Sprint service... if you're in a good area you'll get blazing fast speeds! If you leave the big city it feels like dial-up all over again! Overall I'm happy with the phone, 5 stars because I can't mark the phone down because of the service!

My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy S3 so it was time to finally upgrade. With any new device there will be things that you have to get "used" to, and then over time, you can't even remember what those things were. Here are the pros and cons as they stick out for me (not a tech-geek), keep in mind I've only had the device for just over a week . . .
Pros:
- Extremely fast processing speed (I get text and other notifications almost immediately after turning the device on, where it used to take several minutes).
- Device turns on and off very quickly.
- Battery seems to last longer & certain apps don't drain the battery as much they did on my S3.
- Beautiful and vivid screens/colors.
- Picture quality is amazing.
- Fingerprint security is a great feature - when it works.
- Screen grid size can be changed easily (maybe that's not so new for people who have more recent phones).
- I am happy with how much I can customize various screens/settings.
Cons:
- Default keyboard is big and has the number row visible all of the time but does not automatically capitalize "I" when I type it and then space - it bothered me so much that I downloaded the Google Keyboard (PC layout), which doesn't seem quite as big but does have the number row.
- Default text messaging app is a horrible orange color and has limited customization options. I found it hard to differentiate between my texts and the senders texts - I downloaded Google Messenger, which has a lot of great color options.
- I'm not sure if it is the keyboard I downloaded or the phone. but the auto correct is not as good as what I had on the S3 - I really have to proof-read my messages before I send them.
- Although I did not get the "S6 Edge," the regular S6 screen is almost as wide as the phone itself so I keep finding that I am inadvertently touching the screen just by holding the phone so the the buttons I am actually trying to are not be recognized. I hope this will be solved as soon as I get a phone case.
- The phone is very slippery to hold onto - again I hope this will be solved with a case.
- Fingerprint security sometimes takes multiple tries to unlock the phone and after 5 tries you have to type in the "backup" password you created which has to be 6 characters including 1 letter and 1 number. Maybe it just takes some getting used to because I am getting better at it. It could also be that originally I set up 4 fingerprints (max # of fingerprints) - R & L thumb, R pointer, and R middle - and had a lot of trouble getting in. Since then, I've deleted out the pointer and middle. Whatever the reason, it is working better now.
- I bought the 32 GB phone and after only 1 week and a half I seem to have filled up more than half of my available space and I have not downloaded an extreme number of apps (total of 82 - folders counting as 1 - including the default, pre-loaded) and I don't have very many photos or videos on the device yet so I'm a bit concerned that I didn't buy enough memory. Of course, time will tell.
I am overall happy about the phone but many of the "cons" were a bit surprising for me. Fortunately, I found ways around (or I'm getting better at or I can live with) most of them.

This device is truly awesome. The phone is very responsive overall and the camera is the absolute best i have ever used in a phone. The only complaint that i have with this phone is battery life. While not the worst it definitely could be better. The Phone is perfect in size however though i would recommend putting the phone in a case to ensure that you do not damage it as the phone is encased in glass. I would undoubtedly recommend this phone to anyone.

I started having problems with my S4 and decided to skip the S5 and go with the S6. I'm very happy with it. I use my phone mainly for basic internet connectivity and as a camera. The pics with the S6 are amazing!
The S6 is fast and the screen resolution is great! My only issue is that you can't upgrade the battery and how quickly it can run down. On the up side, the fast charge adapter really lives up to its name. It's easily twice as fast, or faster, than any other charger I've used in the past. Oh, did I mention great pics?

I've had no problems with this phone. The camera is great and all the little cheats like double clicking the home button to get to the camera is so convenient and quick. The phone itself is quick and very rarely do I find myself becoming impatient. At the beginning, when I first played around with the phone, I found that it became really hot which worried me, but that's completely normal due to the phone's structure and build. That's all I have to say for now as I am very happy with my decision to buy this phone.

Upgraded my S5 for the S6, and happy with my choice. There are some quirks to the phone and to Lollipop that take some getting used to, but overall love the fast processors, super fast camera, and haven't (yet) missed the removable/swappable SD card or battery. Had the phone a week, and no complaints. Wireless charging is a nice feature too, but still tend to use the speed charger since wireless induction is slower.

Had some fears of buying a phone that had no sd card and that you couldn't change out the battery. Boy was I surprised and pleased! This phone is absolutely super! Goes all day on a charge and charges so fast that it continues to surprise me. I don't know a lot about the inner workings of cell phones, that was another thing that frightened me but I made a great choice by buying this phone, no regrets!

I have been a fan of Samsung for a while, but this phone reverses the trend toward more plastic. It has an elegant look and feel, and the advertised processor speed is apparent when playing games. The camera comes up faster and takes really nice pictures.

The camera takes amazing pictures it has great new features, the phone is faster than the s5, I like how they changed the finger print I did not use in the s5 because it was a hassle to get it to work its so much easier now, there's just so much cant say them all I've had the phone for 6 days now and every day discover something new.
