Customers love the Galaxy S7 edge 32GB's camera quality, battery life, and screen size, with many praising its ease of use and design. Positive feedback also highlights the phone's water resistance and performance. While some users wish for a stylus, a few found the edge display feature less useful.

Can't find much to complain about with this phone...the size is perfect, screen is clear, crisp, and responsive. Performance is first-rate, and the extra measure of water resistance is a great comfort in rainy weather or other damp conditions.

Have had my new phone over a month, and have yet to find anything bad to say. The battery lasts all day, even on my long workdays. The camera takes great pics and the new themes are great. Now, I'm trying out Scarlet. Samsung's new assistant.

Excellent device; big hands beware

Let me get this out of the way first: I got this device after two failed attempts at having a functional Note7. Not disappointed in the software, the hardware, or the fact that I'm missing the S Pen; this is a great phone, hands down.
Speaking of hands...if you have big hands like I do, and generally type in portrait mode, you will end up with a bunch of extra entries when texting or scribbling up a review. I've already English-teacher-ed out a ton of random q,p,1, and a entries as my big mitts keep hitting the Edge glass, registering these buttons. I can't fault it on this issue alone; however I will be investing in a case as soon as possible to give my paws a little bit of clearance from the clear as crystal screen. Yes, typing in landscape mode would easily resolve this, but my giant cookie-snatchers still have the tendency to nail the Recent Apps or Back button at the very least convenient moment, so there.
Otherwise, the phone is wonderful: quick, great call quality, looks slick, great onboard storage (not counting the massive memory card I have installed), and excellent camera make it quite a fitting replacement for Samsung's little grenade of a Note.
Have to admit: I'd rather have my Note7 back, but this puppy certainly fills most of the shoes the Note7 left empty.

I have experience using many other great phones. I find the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge to be the overall superior product. The screen has crisp clear fonts with brilliant true colors, and has a really easy to read display. It's also easy to read the display in direct sunlight. Samsung has made the phone amazingly intelligent with respect to battery savings, with incredible results, I can use my phone all day and night on a single charge. I purchased the wireless charger and it's so easy to fast wireless charge my phone in just an hour and a half or so from a low of 40%. The phone is lightening fast and responsive to my taps and scrolls.

First of all, I had the Note 7 from day 1. Since having to turn it in, I chose the Samsung S7 edge in Rose Gold. Being a life long Note user, I was surprised at how much I liked this phone. The color is beautiful. Perfect size. Excellent features. I will never switch from a Samsung phone. They make quality and offer so many more features than other companies out there. My favorite feature is the water resistance. I was kayaking and somehow ended up in the water with my phone. It survived being submerged in icy cold water for at least 5 min. Then, I threw my phone back in the kayak so I could get to land and hop in not realizing I threw my phone in a puddle of water inside the kayak. No issues....it was in water for at least 15 minutes...submerged. Amazing !!

A good phone; screen resolution is great. Camera takes good pictures without flash. Not as good as the recalled Note 7 - camera has no ability to make notations on pictures. NO STYLUS. Edge to edge tends to be unresponsive at extreme edge Only 32 G, Note7 was 64. And little annoyances.

I upgraded from the s5. Major upgrade. The edge screen is breath taking. The camera takes amazing pictures. It can capture the colors of a sunset so nicely. I still can't get over the screen. The phone looks like it would be so much bigger than the s5 because of the screen, but actually it is almost the same size.

I held on to my Note7 so I could take advantage of the Black Friday deals, and I'm glad I did because the coral blue color was available. The S7 Edge isn't as fast as the Note, but the software is very similar so it's good enough. I had stopped using the Note's S-pen since I knew I would eventually need to give the phone up, so I really don't miss it. The screen curves aren't as refined as on the Note, but I haven't had any issues, and I do use the edge feature quite a bit. Best features are the camera, which is identical to the Note (with the exception of the interface for navigation) and the always on display (also identical to the Note). I get slightly better battery life with the S7 Edge so overall, I'm happy with it.

This purchase was to replace my Galaxy S5, and I'm very glad I did. The phone is VERY responsive, and smooth. The screen is amazing, and sharp. The edge support works very well, and can be customized to activate in a position comfortable for the user (higher/lower, or left/right). The battery life is much better, even with the 'always on' display. The 'always on' display can also be minimized to the edge, and is configurable based on time (minimize at night).
Cons: The edge needs more app support. I especially would like to be able to control my music, from the edge (and not using their 'Milk' app).
It still has the Touchwiz interface. Though much improved, it still has some very annoying tendencies, like to tell me how to disable a 'default app', when I set a default app.
While I'm glad to see the MicroSD slot return (they removed it on the S6), I'm not a fan of where they put it. You have to use the included tool, to pop out a sleeve, which holds your microSD and your SIM card. When you pop it out, the cards have a tendency to fly out, since there is nothing securing them to the sleeve. Also, while requiring a tool is annoying, I think a small paperclip will also work. I just hate requiring a tool at all.
None of those cons have stopped me from loving this phone though. They are very minor complaints, but still worth sharing.

I made the switch from the iPhone 6 Plus to the S7 Edge, and I've been pretty happy with it.
On the plus side, the phone is beautiful, the camera is great, the screen is crisp and clear, and the thing is waterproof. I often check my overnight emails in the shower to get a start on the day. The Gear VR is nice, and I actually like the experience a bit better than my full-fledged Oculus Rift, because I'm able to adjust the Gear VR's focal length so I can use it without glasses.
If you're an Android user, this phone is the way to go.
As an Apple user, beware that it takes some adjusting. I miss iMessage. The keyboards and predictive text aren't as good. And I've had some really disappointing battery life on this thing.

It's not a surprise to feel right at home with Samsung flagship phone and the S7 Edge is no exception. Fast, slim, responsive, and innovative, the S7 Edge really is a great phone for a variety of uses. From a very intuitive edge screen to a powerful camera, this leaves little to be desired. A fair warning however is that it tends to have dead pixels after a few months of use, but nothing too distracting. Also while the water resistance is nice, there is a minor problem with the charging cutoff feature. If there is even a little moisture in the charging port, the phone will not charge. Just be sure to keep the charging port clean of debris and blow dry to vaporize any residual moisture before charging.

This is my third consecutive Galaxy phone. My first was a Galaxy S3 and my phone just before this was a Galaxy S5. Both of those phones still work perfectly fine so I have high expectations for this one. I've had this phone for 4 months now and I have not been disappointed. The additional curved screens make the viewable area of the screen noticeably larger than the standard S7. The only downside being that they occasionally register unintentional inputs if you are holding the phone by its sides. The camera opens and focuses just as fast as they claim. Battery life is fantastic, lasts an entire day even with moderate use. I have tested out the waterproofing of the phone on multiple occasions without issue. The adaptive fast charger that comes with the phone is phenomenal. It can bring the phone from 1% to a full charge in under 2 hours, as long as you aren't trying to use the phone while it is charging. While the phone is expensive, I can vouch that it can actually do everything they claim and more.

As far as phones go, this one is very nice. Nice large, bright screen; long battery life; quality camera that takes nice pictures. The only problem I've run across is that I don't know how to hold it. It is difficult for mobile gaming because the wrapped screen picks up contact on the edges which interferes with games. Also, the placement of the speaker is poor in my opinion because if you hold it horizontally like you normally would for mobile gaming, you cover the speaker. If I had to do it again, I probably would've just gone with the Galaxy S7 and saved myself $100.

As an S4 previous owner, I was due for an upgrade. Happy I waited for the S7 Edge because it's everything I wanted in a phone. Beautiful display, large screen that's not too bulky and easy to hold, awesome battery life with fast charge, expandable 200 gb memory to hold all my photos and videos of my kids, convenient always on feature, super fast, loud external speaker, and just a gorgeous overall looking phone. The only negative is the lack of an ir blaster but I still have my S4 to use as my universal remote at home. Love this phone!

I must say as an Apple iPhone user I am seriously impressed with this phone! Very fast and what a great screen! Battery life for phone use and standby is excellent, however, when playing with all the apps, battery drains pretty quick which is to be expected. The Samsung booth at Bestbuy is staffed with very knowledgeable people which helped me learn the device quickly. Samsung pay is also awesome! Hate to say it, but better than Apple Pay :)

I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge from a Samsung Galaxy S5. All of my reviews are based on the comparison between the two. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge battery life is much better than the S5. It is much quicker and more responsive. The new camera is outstanding. It has the ability to focus on several things in the picture. The RAM and memory are a big Improvement. The size of the S7 Edge makes it difficult to operate with one hand unless you have big hands. With the curved screen the keyboard is a little more difficult to use when typing the letters on the edge of the screen. I often have to push them several times to get it to work. The screen is a little less sensitive . These two issues may be do to my OtterBox case. I am unsure. Overall I believe the S7 Edge is an excellent upgrade from the S5.

Instead of typing a wall of text and going on forever on how much I love this phone, I'll simply make a list that hits on my favorite points.
PROS
-Ergonomic
-Powerful graphics and display
-"Feels" amazing in the hand
-Extremely long battery life - (i've had mine last 48 hours with light use, 36 with normal use)
-Fast charging - 0-100 in 1 hour and 12 minutes with the Samsung fast charging system
-Wireless charging
-WATER RESISTANT!!! - I've placed my phone in a glass of water for 30 minutes with absolutely no negative effects
-The edged design adds a new dimension to accessing apps and makes the phone much prettier to look at in comparison to a screen that filled with clutter
I could make this list go on for awhile - these are just the things that came to my mind for writing a two minute review
CONS
-The price
You pay for what you get. If you want an amazing, beautiful, cutting edge piece of technology you have to pay for it. That being said, it's worth every penny.

Love it even more then my Galaxy S3. Its faster and bigger. I also enjoy alot of the new features. My biggest complaint is the rounded edge sometimes becomes annoying. If you hold your phone wrong, your fingers can move your screen, bring up other options and overall become frustrating. While the screens looks nice rounded, it does also make it sort of pointless having it rounded as it doesn't really serve a bigger purpose.
If you buy a good case you won't have to worry about the edges being a problem. I'm still glad I got the phone, but if I had to do over I'd get one without the edge on it.

I was unhappy with the Galaxy s5 as it had limited memory and was not performing well. I thought the s7 sounded like a better choice so I pre-ordered it and received it earlier than expected. It is a far superior phone and I am very pleased with it. The battery life is astounding and I have never run out during the day. The brightness and clarity of the graphics is excellent also. I also received the VR Gear and added memory card so it really was a bargain.
