My wife was eligible for an upgrade and since she had an S6, we knew she would be happy with the S7. She chose the S7 Edge in platinum, and so far she loves it. She is still learning the phone, but knows there is lots more she can do with it. I like the fact that it had the Micro SD slot for all her pictures. No more downloading pics to the computer to open space!

I went in to purchase a new phone as my current phone could no longer hold a charge after being 2+ years old. This will be my third Samsung phone and I have never had any issues other than the typical battery issues that come with age. I highly recommend this phone and most Samsung products to anyone in the market.

So I pre-ordered my titanium silver, Verizon model S7 edge and took delivery on 3/7/16. The phone was great, fast, and everything I had hoped for. The evening of 3/8/16, I plug the device into the originally supplied Samsung brand fast charger, and try to continue using the phone. It gets hot and stops charging. I put the phone down to let it charge. Wake up the next morning after charging for about 8 hours, and the phone is at 94% and still plugged in. I try to top it up the fast charger that came with my S6 edge thinking the charger broke.... Nope. The phone won't fast charge anymore. Returned the phone to where I bought the device on 3/9/16 to have the Damaging rep look at it. He says he can't help me, and to just exchange it for a new device. Well, guess what... They're all sold out. So.... Its now 3/15, and I'm typing this review on my S6 edge because my S7 is a big paperweight that won't charge. Waiting for Best Buy to get stock of the titanium silver S7 edge back in stock so I can hopefully return this broken unit and enjoy my new phone.

So the phone itself looks good and it has a great screen the problems are with its functionality. Texting is awful the keyboard is terrible, the phone is slow and i constantly have problems with my phone deleting pictures that i took (it has plenty of space internally and via SD card). Samsung really dropped the ball. The battery life leaves a little to be desired too.

My Galaxy 4 was slowing down so I decided to upgrade. I am still learning about many of the the S7 Edge features but it works well for me. I am struggling a bit with the camera as some functions are different but that will come with time.

If it weren't for one major flaw, this phone would be amazing. The major flaw being the garbage processor used for the US phones. I can't record more than 1 minute of video without the phone overheating, resulting in either the camera app to crash or the recorded video being choppy. I can't view videos without the phone getting ridiculously hot. Not to mention, Gear VR, slow motion video, and other graphics intensive processes are pretty much useless. I've tried moving as much stuff from the SD card to internal, which helps a little but doesn't solve the issue, and makes the phone useless, because it only has 32GB of internal storage. I've also tried reboot, flush cache, factory restore, and all the other solutions suggested in the forums, but nothing works. Having an awesome camera doesn't matter if you can't use it for more than a minute at a time. I would have given this phone 2 stars for this major flaw, but it costs way too much for it to have such a significant flaw.

Bought this cell phone for my daughter and she use for more than two years.

I am always been a Samsung fan and this is one of the great products from Samsung. I love the curvy edges which gives more screen space.

Samsung has always been my favorite with cell phones. I found Apple to be boring. They did a great job as usual. Love my s7 edge.

I have owned Motorola phones my entire life and just moved to Samsung. This phone is by far the best I have owned.

Had the phone for a week. Never dropped. One day noticed the glass covering the camera is shattered. I also had a otterbox case on this device. Did some research other people have had similar problems. Very thin glass is used over the camera. A little finger pressure could crack it. Samsung won't fix it. They want $70 for the repair. Part cost 6.99. It's a nice phone but don't think $900 for the phone gets you away from cheap parts and bad designs.... thanks samsung!
