This phone has amazing battery life. You use 3.0 usb and has an adapter for 2.0 usb and micro usb. Has a front and back flash which is absolutely stunning and photos are sharp. This phone has bixby which works to easily make phone calls, open apps and she even raps for you. My galaxy s8 came with a free pair of headphones and the audio quality is amazing. Everything is simple and easy to use. Love it! I even reccomend iphone users to switch to galaxy s8.

Great phone overall. Not the huge upgrade over the S7 Edge but it's so elegantly designed, you should be very pleased. Bixby is a bit of a joke especially when Google Voice is right there at your fingertips. I have hopes for it eventually but for now Google Voice is a lot more handy. Great camera for selfies and the battery life is fantastic.!

My son was due for an upgrade and decided he no longer wanted an iPhone and made the jump to an android phone. I replaced my iPhone with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge a few months ago and my son really like the features and decided to go with the Galaxy S8. The new larger "borderless" screen and sleek design are impressive. The transition from an iPhone to the Galaxy was simple for my 14 year old and he has had no complaints at all. Battery life and picture / video quality are far superior to that of his iPhone 6.

Light years better than my previous phone, which was admittedly five years old and therefore ancient. Easy to use, takes nice pictures, and great battery life. After a month of use, I have no complaints.

The new Galaxy 8 phone is beautiful. I love the slim design, larger screen, and the edge screen. The battery life has been great as well.

This phone is great. My old S7 had to be charged constantly from the time I purchased it. I can use my S8 for hours without the battery depleting much. The phone takes great pictures. It is hard to find a screen protector. I had to go to several places to find one that actually works well (because of the edge). The fingerprint scanner it the best! My S7 had a fingerprint scanner that never seemed to work. The S8 fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone. So simple to use and it actually reads my fingerprint the first time. I am not sure how much I like the home and back buttons. Sometimes it is hard to get them to show up at the bottom of the screen. In some apps it takes a few times to get the back button to work at all. Great phone though.

Let me start out by saying that I've had every previous model I am very happy with my GS8. It's an excellent phone that is responsive, has a battery that easily lasts a day, and plenty of (mostly) useful features. Not to mention the minimal bezels and brilliant screen.

Once again Samsung slams a home run with this flagship phone. From the super-fast chipset, to the extended battery time, to the fast wireless charging, water and dust proof and stellar Gorilla Glass 3 (almost unbreakable screen) that has a Super OLED Display. Camera picture quality is the best out there and easily out shines my old Apple 7 phone. Even with the low-light shots ! I can't say enough good about this phone.

There are very few devices that I would say I love and I love this device. Screen is perfect for everything and I am an Engineer. No issues. Just buy a good screen protector and case (low profile) and you are set for life. I used this phone all Day!!!! Music, Phone calls. Games and at the end of the day it still ready for anything. If you had to bring one device with you this would be the device (with a fast charger)...

I got this to replace my well-used Galaxy S7. I'd had that phone for almost two years (I chose to upgrade early by three months due to a technical issue with the old phone). So far, compared to my wife's much less used S7 they're very similar, although I think mine's just a touch faster. I tried using the edge screen and quickly disabled it. The curved screen edge is more gimmick than useful IMHO, but maybe you will find it more to your liking than I did. The upgrade process was pretty painless thanks to them both being Samsungs, although my battery was pretty close to dead when I got it home after they transferred it for me at the local BB. I've not noticed any major differences with pictures although I understand the camera in the S8 is supposed to be better than the one in the S7. I did look at some of the other Android options out there, but since the Pixel is only with Verizon (and doesn't support Qi charging?!?!?!) I opted to just keep on keeping on. I have noticed the battery holds its charge much longer, but I suspect that would be true for any new phone compared to one that's almost two years old. So far, this phone has been rock solid and I've not dropped any calls (the reason why I upgraded early). Given the need and similar options, I'd get another one of these again.

Great phone....64gb is a lot of space....battery lasts longer than my galaxy s6...screen is longer...camera takes beautiful clear pics...has selfie flash! Beats the s#%t out of Apple phones(:

I have had Samsung for a few generations now, and just switched to Sprint after being with AT&T for over 10 years. Really like this phone, no delays in going from apps, pictures, and videos are sharp. Took me 10 days to figure out how to pair it to my smart watch, a 1st gen moto 360, but it works great now. The curved glass has taken me awhile to get use to, but all in all, I'm glad I stuck with Samsung, this phone is a beast. Can charge in just a little over an hour, lasts all day. I'm really enjoying listening to Pandora in my truck on my drive to work everyday, thanks to this new phone and unlimited data from Sprint. All my medical apps work great too at work.

Let me start out by saying that I am very happy with my GS8. It's an excellent phone that is responsive, has a battery that easily lasts a day, and plenty of (mostly) useful features. Not to mention the minimal bezels and brilliant screen. I'm not going to go on and repeat all the good things pretty much every online review says about phone. My issue with the phone is Samsung's notorious and pervasive bloat-ware. Some of it adds rather useful functionality, a fair bit of it is annoyingly redundant and actually takes away functionality in my opinion. An excellent example of this is that a url sent in a text will launch that page inside of the messages app. You are not able to launch the web page in a non-Samsung web browser. Sure, you could copy the url or utilize one of the options the app gives for you but I'm not a fan of being forced into using one app or being required to go through extra steps to use other apps that are available to me. It is one of the primary reasons I use Android phones. I hate that Samsung is emulating Apple in the their own, and largely redundant, apps. I know that boot loaders and various other apps exist that feature "workarounds" for much of the more annoying features (such as the Bixby butto, that even activates when the screen is off) but the button-mappers that I have tried work on either a delay or close the app that was launched and then launches the a different app. For me, the annoying bloat is (barely) better than the delayed response. Having said that, there are proprietary features I am largely a fan of such as the screen stay (keeps screen on while you're looking at it), the various ways to wake up and to unlock the phone, and the edge app and its various panels. I've only had the phone a little over a week now and I am still getting used to the minutia of how it works. So far, the good easily trumps the bad.

I love this phone. The slim, lightweight design and max screen size. Samsung nailed it on this model. Amazing camera and battery life.

Went from Galaxy S6 to S8. Major improvement w the camera, screen, speed, & battery. Very impressed. Only drawback is the change in battery charger. It's a pain & pricey to change all my chargers to new type.

I bought a Google pixel phone and when my Carrier and google would not ensure it I sent it back. I purchased the Samsung S8. Far superior phone I like it so much I can't even explain why :) Lots of added features that help you move around all of your apps. The camera is awesome. I use my phone for work all day long, 8 hrs plus using multiple apps and I rarely have to charge my phone. Far superior to the Google pixel.

Lots of storage, easy to use, takes great photos, good battery life.

This phone is fancy, for me, anyway. The camera is great, the battery lasts and it is quick. The only thing I am not impressed by is the texting/keyboard. Maybe it has to do with the curved screen, but it can be difficult to text quickly or accurately.

Coming from an iphone 6 this phone is on another level. Absolutely love it. Everything is fast, no stuttering, screen is beautifull, battery life is great. My only gripe is the sides of the screen, i accidentally press links or web pages sometimes. But ive learned to hold the phone diffrently so it doesnt happen as much. Over all highly recommend

upgraded from Galaxy s6 which I loved. this one is faster, sharper, larger, better graphics, better battery life and many more features. fingerprint button on back not as good as previous one on front.
