I got this one to replace one, The first one was dropped once and the screen broke and it was in a case. I had geek squad protection and it still cost me $200.00 to replace.

    Pretty phone, overheating issues

The phone is beautiful. I liked how it was slimmer than the S6 I had and had a longer screen. However, the phone tends to overheat easily which causes the battery to lose power quickly (might just be this particular phone) Also, my S6 worked perfectly with Android Auto and with the new S8 I wasn't even able to play anything from Amazon Music. The other new features were nothing special and did not help with ease of use. I ditched it and went back to iPhone.

With minimal impact, the screen cracked on the corner. Upon reading many reviews, same conclusion. The insurance and repair companies love the s8

do NOT do the file/app transfer from older samsung phone to s8. Long story short..a previously downloaded weather widget caused my phone to restart every 10 minutes. Drove me crazy. We tried another S8 did another transfer. At first I thought it worked but new S8 did the same thing. Once again we transferred data from old S8. Went online to research problem and it was happening quite a bit with all carriers. I tried factory reset, but the same weather widget would cause phone to restart every 10 minutes(unknowingly). Finally, I read an article to put the phone in safe mode. it disabled the widget and it worked like a charm. There are also issues with SD card. Samsung Note 7 was still their best phone despite the battery issue. I'm not going with a Samsung phone next update.

I don't think it's any better than my Note 5. The battery life isn't that good which was my main reason for the upgrade. Its supposed to have a better screen but its set to lower settings to save battery by default. And the screen at 5.8" compared to the 5.7" screen on the note 5 is tiny. This whole phone nearly fits on the note 5 screen so whatever they are doing makes the screen smaller but measure bigger. Its awkward to hold because of its longer, narrower frame. I don't understand why people love this phone. It doesn't do anything that my Note 5 wasn't doing and the battery life is worse. Tiny crippled screen and short battery life is what you get with this phone. Such a shame to take such big steps backwards. Short battery life is what ruins this phone for me.

I have a lot of software issues. Make sure you turn off the auto update withe Sprint because it messed me up totally. I make sure that when they switch all your things over from one phone of the older phone to the newer phone that they don't drop your phone into a bag on the counter cracked the screen and then clan that they didn't do it that's the problem that I had with Best Buy so I will not recommend letting them do anything like that again you're better off just getting the phone and going elsewhere to have things transferred also with the insurance through Best Buy they wouldn't cover that either after it was there even their own problems and never want to take the blame for what they do they push it off on the customer

My apps don't work the way they used to with old galaxies. I don't know if it's because of my carrier. The one good thing I can say is that this phone takes awesome photos!

I wish I didn't get this new S8 phone, the screen already broke, with this model it has an infinity screen, very easy to break.

    Phone is Made of Glass

If you buy this phone, buy a very protective case. The entire phone is made of glass. A short drop from anything onto a hard or semi hard surface the phone will break. I have never had a phone that breaks so easily in my life. That is really the only very disappointing feature I guess you would call it. I have had this phone since November and the screen and the back are both cracked already. Please buy a case with the phone!

My phone has a glitchy touch screen interface, and it is problematic when scrolling or typing. To make matters worse, Samsung will not replace my lemon with a quality replacement despite addressing this issue with them in the first 30 days.

I definitely recommend buying this phone but I definitely recommend that you do not get through Sprint if you live in Washington because the service coverage is horrible
