While reviewing phones online, I noticed Samsung was giving this phone heavy discount due to their battery explosion problem last year. So I want to head and went for it just to see what it was like, even though I want to the HTC U11 because it is faster and smoother than the S8 if you watch reviews on the phones. Both are glass. Anywho, I'm Liking and enjoying the galaxy S8. It has a lot of neat features that are really discussed when researching. It even has a heart rate sensor next to the camera so you can take resting and activity heart rates. Just explore all the features you'll be pretty amazed. Bonus! You get a pretty decent pair of ear phones, which are way above in quality than the ones you usually get with phones. The Galaxy S8 also has a program that lets you set our program the listening experience design for your ears, meaning the phone gives you a hearing test of sort and adjust the settings to your hearing. Really nice feature .

I switched over from my Galaxy S6 to a Galaxy S8. I like that I have twice as much storage in the 64 gig. And I like that you can even upgrade this. I like that it is lighter than my S6 and actually has more viewing space. I'm still getting used to it and trying to figure it out. Tomorrow I am scheduled to take a 1/2 hour class over at my nearby Best Buy when how to best use the phone. I haven't really noticed any difference in the camera clarity. And the volume doesn't seem as loud as my S6. I will ask about this at the class tomorrow. I usually keep my phone for 3 years, but I started having some glitches with my S6, and had to keep deleting stuff because I kept running out of storage space. But I decided to switch now because they had a deal I couldn't refuse. I have the orchid Gray and it's quite pretty.

I got this to replace my well-used Galaxy S7. I'd had that phone for almost two years (I chose to upgrade early by three months due to a technical issue with the old phone). So far, compared to my wife's much less used S7 they're very similar, although I think mine's just a touch faster. I tried using the edge screen and quickly disabled it. The curved screen edge is more gimmick than useful IMHO, but maybe you will find it more to your liking than I did. The upgrade process was pretty painless thanks to them both being Samsungs, although my battery was pretty close to dead when I got it home after they transferred it for me at the local BB. I've not noticed any major differences with pictures although I understand the camera in the S8 is supposed to be better than the one in the S7. I did look at some of the other Android options out there, but since the Pixel is only with Verizon (and doesn't support Qi charging?!?!?!) I opted to just keep on keeping on. I have noticed the battery holds its charge much longer, but I suspect that would be true for any new phone compared to one that's almost two years old. So far, this phone has been rock solid and I've not dropped any calls (the reason why I upgraded early). Given the need and similar options, I'd get another one of these again.

Went from Galaxy S6 to S8. Major improvement w the camera, screen, speed, & battery. Very impressed. Only drawback is the change in battery charger. It's a pain & pricey to change all my chargers to new type.

I think this is a great product I love the camera. Phone is way to easy to operate and the size is comfortable to hold and manipulate. I would surely recommend this product to my family and friends. I have also received several inquiries and comment on this phone.

This phone is fancy, for me, anyway. The camera is great, the battery lasts and it is quick. The only thing I am not impressed by is the texting/keyboard. Maybe it has to do with the curved screen, but it can be difficult to text quickly or accurately.

The phone works well, fast and haven't had any trouble with it. I like the internal space it has, no more problems with not being a be to download apps because of space.

This phone is beautiful. It has an excellent screen. Fast processor and plenty of ram memory. Great value for the money. Would recommend it to anyone.

Overall this is a great phone. I've been using it for about 4 months now and I haven't had any issues. The camera is amazing! My main issue but that's just a preference is the curve screen. If you buy a glass screen protector the screen is less sensitive and you struggle to text at times. Really wished Samsung did away with that. I had one screen protector break already it started from the side and then the bottom. I never had an issue with my s5 on that matter. So just be aware of that If your getting this phone

I love this phone. I have been a Samsung Galaxy user for a number of years and I think this S8 has been the easiest to use. Takes great pictures and videos and the battery life is great . As a senior I have recommended this phone to several other seniors who feel intimidated by smart phones.

Overall the S8 is great, the camera is awesome. However I personally hate the infinity screen & would prefer the real home button to be back. I'm also not a fan of the screen edge...i have no need for it so I keep it turned off, as does everyone I know with an edge screen. It just exposes the screen more to damage since cases don't go over the edge. On my the corners & top and bottom in sone cases can be covered and even that is minimal.

I finally upgraded from the Galaxy S5 Sport and can't believe I waited so long! I was immediately impressed and satisfied with my decision on the Galaxy S8. What I like most: Fast processing speed, crisp display, and phone is light, thin, easy to handle.

Great phone. Takes really good pictures and the full screen size is a really nice bonus.

Upgraded my husband line to the Galaxy S8 from the S7 & he loves this phone. He admires the vast features, such as the camera, size of screen, slicker look, faster charge and the 256GB. It was priced just right & glad we had the opportunity to take advantage.

Great phone with Quality camera overall a Pretty decent phone I little expensive

I've had the s8 about 2 months now & so far overall, I love it. operation is fast, especially when connected to my wifi. the camera is fantastic, & finally competes with the iPhone camera. I actually have the iphone7 for work & have compared the two. during the solar eclipse, my s8 took great photos when the sun went behind clouds, however my iPhone 7 did not turn out near as good. the new s8 handles light so much better than older models & the shutter is super fast, almost instantaneous. I don't like the edge feature or the infinity screen as that just makes it more susceptible to damage if the phone is dropped. I don't use the edge feature anyway, so I wish they had made a model without it, like they did for the s7. I also hate the new home buttons being incorporated to the screen rather than having actually buttons.

Great new phone. Has a great camera and easy to use

This phone is easy to use, has a great display, and the battery life has done very well. My only complaint is the Bixby feature. I use Google for everything and Bixby is just redundant.

This is a beautiful phone. It is fast and smooth and the Samsung-customized Android OS is comfortable and has room to run and sufficient built in memory for a ton of apps and music and downloaded videos. The fingerprint scanner takes some getting used to but isn't so bad. Wireless fast charging is also very nice. Be sure to get a good case for this phone... and the geek squad protection. One drop from waist high onto concrete ground detonated the screen of the first one. Concrete and any cell phone don't usually mix, but this seemed worse than the usual scratch and dent I've gotten with older phones. GS replaced it so I'm still very happy.
