I purchased this phone when my S5's battery life began to fade. I love how much faster it processes and that it has wireless charging capabilities. I find myself struggling with inserting the new charging port. I gave 4 starts bc I'm not a fan of the curved screen. I have trouble operating it with one hand and also have issues swiping down at times to access my notifications bar. I also miss having a physical home button but do like the looks of the solid screen. I have not used Bixby and find it annoying to have the button below the volume bc I find myself pressing it often instead of the volume down button. Love the exclusive Best Buy coral blue color.

We needed a new phone carrier and with that new phones. We took advantage of Verizon's $350 off sale and choose the S8s. They are wonderful!! Battery life is pretty good, plenty of good apps, the curved screen looks amazing. It takes great photos, best phone photos I have been able to take with a phone. We bought both the blue and orchid grey, but the color doesn't matter because you just cover it with a case!

I recently upgraded from the S7 to the S8 and there were some changes many positive ones in my opinion. Bigger screen, faster processor and longer battery life compared to my S7. Not a fan of the Bixby product. Tried it out for a few days including the voice to text piece and it doesn't work as well as Google so I disabled Bixby for me. Bigger screen show more room to see things on the phone. You will definitely want to get a screen protector for this phone because of edge to edge screen. Battery life is very good. I've used the phone a good portion of the day watching videos and social media and shopping through Apps and checking emails and texting and I can go a full day without having to recharge the phone which is big difference from the S7. how long that remains in terms of good battery will be something determined overtime.

I love the new look of the S8 and the battery life is way better than my S7. Functionality is comparable just in a sleeker design. Camera is better than the S7. The absence of the home and back button really is not a big deal as it's now part of the touchscreen. So far, I'm very happy with it!

Great camera, great screen, good battery life (getting 5.5 hours screen on time, haven't tried any powersaving modes yet), and performance is great. I have seen no lag like the Samsungs of old. Really enjoy the size and feel in the hand. My favorite thing about it is that the screen looks exactly the same outside as it does inside. No more straining to see my screen in direct sunlight. The only thing I wish was different about this phone is that the Bixby button should be remappable because other than the camera search feature Bixby is a completely useless clone of Google Now. I wont count Bixby as a negative though because its an extra and doesn't take anything away from an otherwise great phone. Lastly the fingerprint location is blown way out of proportion by tech reviewers. I use mine daily with either hand no problem.

Nice phone. It's plenty fast enough to run most apps. The screen is crystal clear although It's difficult to find a good screen protector to fit the curved edges. It has plenty of space and it's easy to add an additional memory card for additional space. I haven't had to worry about the battery running out yet from a normal day of use, so the battery seems fine for the average user. That being said, if you stream movies and play games all day, you will need to recharge. Sound quality is good. All in all a great phone.

Absolutely love this phone and pretty much everything about it! I won't go through all of the features on the product but I will say that if you had the S7 this phone takes many of those features and improves and adds to the list! Everyone thinks the iPhone X is the greatest. This phone has wireless charging, fingerprint sensors, Iris unlocking feature (which I've used and it seems to be pretty reliable), absolutely fantastic camera with amazing quality for a cell phone and a really large screen (larger if you want to get the S8+ or Note 8). Initially I thought the taller screen was going to be annoying but after 30 days now I find that I really do like the taller screen. Would recommend this phone to anyone looking to upgrade. Oh and for those Apple fans Samsung leaves all the ports on their phones while still having them be water resistant! You can add storage with an SD card and use a normal headphone jack.

So far so good with this S8. It is always hard getting used to a new phone, but this one is amazing. The screen is wonderful and the features are great as well. It seems very user friendly thus far so hopefully it will last as long as our old S5's did.

I have been an iPhone user for years. Decided to switch to get away from non-expandable space on iPhone and small amount of free cloud space. This Samsung 8 is terrific. Amazing screen, huge expandable space, and easy to use. Won't be going back.

Been through early iPhones; switched to Samsung Note 3, then Note 4 over the years. (iPhone users dissed me when I had the Note 3 as a "phablet" and mocked the size. Funny how iPhones soon followed and now it's norm ;-)) My Note 4 was getting twitchy and although I hated giving up the swappable battery, the S8 is large enough yet smaller than the Note series or the new iPhone + models. The slight reduction in width makes it much easier to get in / out of a pocket. The display is fabulous and you can install a micro SD up to 256. (Compared to iPhone's fixed and very expensive memory.) The battery life has been impressive. One charge has lasted 2 days several times. The Best Buy sale (almost 1/2 price) convinced me. In the end, it cost 1/3 of the new iPhone X. I added a FayTun Glass screen protector and TORRAS Slim Fit Matte Finish case, it's got a great feel while keeping a very slim profile. Very happy with it!

I love my new Samsung S8+. I was having a hard time seeing the screen on my old phone, but I love the larger screen on the S8+. It also takes great pictures and is very user friendly. I liked it so much I talked my son into getting the same phone.

This phone is amazing the colors are amazing and vibrant the infinity screen is awesome to view videos it is Slim not big and bulky like most phones the battery life is great it is not get hot at all I love this new phone I give it a thumbs up!

My wife wanted a Samsung phone and after reading the reviews , this is the one we chose because of the size, camera, storage, etc. So far she likes it a lot. Samsung made it very easy to move data from her iPhone to this phone without any loss.

the S8 is a massive upgrade from an iPhone 6, with superior battery life, a fantastic screen, beautiful pictures, and a really zippy user interface. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my wife as a big upgrade from the S3. Phone is very user friendly for someone that normally uses her phone for Facebook, emails and messaging. Camera is awesome and battery lasts all day.

I love this phone. It's sleek in its design. Its fast and very fluid in operation. Camera is top of the line. Only complaint is that there are no glass screen protectors that truly work well with it.

Very easy to used,great pic quality, got the 64gb but if you got a ton of stuff you can add memory, bixby (similar to Siri) makes your life much easier, overall great product, you're gonna like it.

I needed a new phone as mine had gone on the fritz. This one was on sale during black Friday. Could not be happier w it. Great battery life ..great photos ..fast..and eeasy to use.

Did not plan on buying a new phone but my LG G4 only 2 yrs old, died. Researched Galaxy S8, Pixel 2 and iPhone 7. Based on Best Buy promotions, I went with the Galaxy S8. Sound clarity is very good, good camera, has headphone jack and AKG earbuds are included with the phone. Screen is bright and clear. Battery life is very good which was important to me. Although I've always had Androids, still a bit of a learning curve to learn all of the S8's capabilities. So far, very dependable and I am pleased with my choice. Just hope that it lives longer than my LG G4 did because the price of ALL phones is ridiculous .. IMO.

I love android phones and this phone is the best one. Great camera and love the screen size. S8 is a must have phone. Fast, sleek and works great.
