Best phone yet. . Much better than my wifes Iphone. .great battery life, camera, quick processing.

It is everything you want in a phone. Fast, sleek, powerful, great screen and great battery life.

Great camera. Great video. Great low light performance. Lots more storage than my previous 16gb phone. I love that I can add a micro SD card. The curved screen is a gimmick that I don't find that useful. But the curved screen makes it very difficult to get a good screen protector that doesn't interfere with the touch screen, doesn't fall off, and doesn't peel up when swiping from the edge. I have had to restart it a few times when I encounter glitches that make the phone hang. Otherwise, the phone is great.

I am VERY pleased with my Galaxy S8 phone. I had a Galaxy S4 and was hesitant to upgrade. I'm very happy i did ! it's resolution and ease of use without all the extra apps i'd never have used is very welcoming. it holds a charge and the sleek design with the infinity screen is perfect.

As the latest phone from Samsung, the design is great. Super fast, runs great, lots of space.

Upgraded from an S5 and what a difference! Super fast, lots of storage and brilliant screen.

We bought two of these phones to replace our aging Galaxy S5 phones that served us well over the past 2.5 years. This upgrade provided us with tons of new features and enhancements. The price was great and the phones have performed very well. The battery life is better than any phone I've ever used and the camera is simply amazing!

In a smartphone, memory space, the camera, screen, and durability are the most important features for me. I haven't tested it all, but this phone has a reputation for water resistance, and that sounds really great. The internal memory space is also a great 64gigs, so I have plenty of room for work related apps, in addition to apps I may want for fun or relaxation. In addition to that, an SD card can be inserted for those who want extra space. Most of my photos were already on the SD card in my old phone, so the transfer was rather easy, and that space on my internal memory remains open. The screen display is clear and has well defined color. The touch response is also pretty sensitive feeling- I'm still getting used to using the keyboard due to that. The camera takes nice quality photos, and offers much better array of ways to fine-tune and edit photos than my old phone. Regarding photos, I do wish there was an option to choose how the gallery displays/organizes albums, but that's an app feature. I'm sure there are other gallery apps to download. A bonus about this phone that I LOVE is that it allowed me to UNINSTALL (not just "mute" or "disable") many of the apps that came preinstalled on it. I was always very frustrated and annoyed with those apps on my old phones in the past, because I never used them and they took up space. That said, I love the customizability of the Galaxy S8.

Then near bezel-less display is gorgeous. I've had this since launch and I still can't get over the vibrant colors and display quality. Also, the brightness goes up to 1000 nits, which is double the brightness of a 2017 Macbook Pro. You can see the screen perfectly even in the sun. The design language is miles beyond any other competitor. It's built really well and looks sleek.

The s8 is my first Samsung phone and I'm really happy with it so far. My previous phone was the LG G3, which I'd had for around 2.5 years. It was the best one I'd ever had and certainly lasted the longest even after being dropped pretty much on a daily basis. I had planned on getting the G6 originally but it wasn't available at my local store​ so I got the s8 and I'm glad I did. It's great looking and isn't uncomfortable in the hand, the camera takes some pretty amazing pics, no lag or other issues with speed or capability, and the battery lasts all day with moderate to heavy use. The only thing I'm not that fond of is the fingerprint scanner location but that's not a big deal. I do miss being able to tap the screen to turn it on like I could on my G3 and the remote control app on the G3 was pretty handy too. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the s8 and definitely recommend it.

Glad I was able to order online and pick-up in-store. The pick-up process was easy, even for it being black Friday. The phone has been working well, and is easy to use. Not too big or bulky, which is a plus. Features like Bixby were annoying at first, but since you can turn it off so it doesn't activate every time you hit the button on accident, I'm not that concerned about it.

I have owned every galaxy except the S6. I purchased this with the promo they were running so it was cheaper a month than my s7 so I upgraded. Love Love Love this phone. Battery life is noticeable better, camera is a little better but I'm not sure about Bixby. I this "Ok Google" functions a ton better but customizing it may help. Still I think it is definitely an upgrade.

Started looking to upgrade my phone earlier this year. Checked out some of the Moto and LG options at the time (all so huge and bulky!) and decided to wait for the Galaxy S8. So glad I did! The phone is incredibly sleek and comfortable. Similar feel, but overall a huge upgrade from my old Moto X2. Camera is spectacular. Has the newest processor and android version so runs like a dream! Definitely beats the LG G6. I still have difficulty finding the fingerprint sensor or placing my finger just right ...not the best design/placement next to the camera - would have preferred below and centered. But honestly the retina recognition for unlocking works incredibly well even in varying light conditions, through glasses or contacts, etc. Still waiting/hoping for additional bixby features. But overall excellent phone with very few downsides.

The phone is much less user friendly than my old S3 which I hated giving up, but had no choice as it was finally on it's last legs. I really miss not being able to control the volume of all items at one time by just pressing the volume button on the side of the phone. I find it irritating to have to adjust each separately with a drop down menu. I prefer the smaller S3 as this phone is harder for me to hold and tires my hand out. I do, however, like the quality of the pictures it takes as well as the increased amount of storage.

I am upgrading from a Galaxy S3. Still figuring out how to use this phone, but so far am very impressed. I get 2 days on the battery easy. I could probably get 3 if I tried. This is as big of a phone as I would like to get. Anything bigger would be too big for me. Seems to already have all the things everyone is talking about for the IPhone X.
