My husband and i seem to gravitate toward samsung products. we were ready for renewal and we had the S5 before with no complaints. I didn't even bother to look at anything else. Love the larger screen. So crisp and clear. and the camera function has almost no delay. Wonderful phone.

I've had this phone for 2 weeks now and loving it more everyday. Great camera, beautiful screen, takes great pictures, fast processor, good battery life, and best of all calls are crisp and clear both my voice and theirs. The only cons so far are the usb-c plug replacing the micro-usb. I know it's much faster charging but everything else I have is micro-usb so now I get to invest in more cords. The other con is the battery is sealed and not replaceable. This replaces my LG G3 of 2 years and is far superior in every aspect. I would recommend going to Youtube and watching a few tips and tricks videos to jump start all the possibilities.

It has a great camera, pretty good battery life, great software if you enjoy the Samsung version of android. I don't care for Bixby as much as Google assistant, but Google assistant is in the software. Over all high quality phone, great screen and really beautiful presentation.

We previous owned a pair of j7's and these phones are a little better. They are fast and have a great screen. I am very pleased with the purchase overall. The only negative I have found is that the speech recognition does not work as well as our J7's or the S5's before them.

I am not a tech savvy dude. My old smartphone was 4 years old and was taking a few minutes to turn on and I was replacing the battery every 3 months so it was time for a new phone. I was worried that my lack of knowledge and fat fingers were going to be my downfall. I was going for something cheap figuring as that I would drop the new phone into the outhouse or I would just plain lose it. I checked everywhere and then noticed Best Buy had it on sale for 1/2 price, which was about 15.00 a month for 24 months through Verizon. This was 3 days after Black Friday. The S8 is way easy to operate, the battery life is days improved from the last one and it syncs with the Bluetooth in my car immediately. At this point in time I am really happy with it. It claims to be water resistant but I also purchased a water resistance cover for it just in case.The cover makes it sound like I have a cold but I put it on speaker phone and it works great.

Great phone, love the extra memory and camera is great also. Wish the Bixby worked better and until it is perfected it would be nice to be able to reprogram that stand alone button on the left instead of simply turning it off. You will not be disappointed with this phone!

I have had this phone for about 2 weeks now and so far.... I love it... I love the sleek design and how smooth the screen feels. The phone itself is easy to use and was a quick transition from my Note5 I was able to find a case to protect the back and borders but so far no go on a screen protector. I haven't needed a protector yet and it's been dropped from short distance and so far no cracks or bumps

A high quality phone with all the needed tech. Incredibly thin and light with a massive screen. Camera takes excellent pictures and edge screen sets it apart from any other phone on the market. Simple to use and faster Web browsing than PCs that I use. Amazing device!

This was an upgrade from the S4 for me and what an upgrade! The processing speed is incredible, the camara takes crystal clear pictures and the battery life is unbelievable. Bought this on Thanksgiving for 1/2 price, so I got another for my wife who loves it also.

I've looked at several devices from Samsung, and this was the one that made me jump being that it was the perfect balance of Screen Size, battery life, internal memory, and performing better than advertised. I would purchase this again, and am quite happy with it.

Had S6 which was on its way out so had to upgrade to S8. So far so good Runs much faster, better camera There is a 'back' button that was eliminated but it still appears virually on the screen which I actually like better - other sites found this to be a con

So I was really excited to get this phone. It looks great, it's fast, the call clarity is superb, the screen size is amazing, and the camera is top notch. BUT, the screen has already cracked. The phone has not been dropped yet, and I'd like to think I take good care of it. I noticed a small spec in the screen one afternoon, and it got worse over the next few days, and now it runs up an down the entire screen. I honestly have no idea what I did to make this happen. I guess now I am stuck with it for 24 more months. Luckily, none of the functionality seems lost, so I am still enjoying it for the most part.

I decided to switch from my Apple 6s to the Samsung 8. So glad I did. It has great sound and pictures. It is very easy to use, to customize and has thousands of available apps. Apple has a too dedicated system. It used to be more user friendly but not anymore.

Love this phone. So easy to use. Great camera. Holds battery charge a long time!

Had to get a new phone since I was running out of storage on my Galaxy S5. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has 64 MB plus an expansion slot. Easy to use and was able to customize it in a day. Only complaint is the bloatware both Samsung and Verizon shove onto the phone. Can't delete it, just disable it. So it takes up space. Good thing this phone has the expansion slot. I will eventually need it.

So far so good with this S8. It is always hard getting used to a new phone, but this one is amazing. The screen is wonderful and the features are great as well. It seems very user friendly thus far so hopefully it will last as long as our old S5's did.

I consider this phone one of the best. The design with the edge screen is awesome. There are too many great features to mention. Love the long-life battery. I usually get a day and 1/2 out of the battery. The latest Oreo OS system is coming soon also.

This is my first Samsung phone. I have been with iPhone for a while. Prior to that I had flip phones. The ease of use is wonderful. The speed and overall function is great. I can only give 4 stars since I haven't had the phone very long. Ask me again in a year and I'm willing to bet I would give 5 stars.
