Everytime I get a new phone I expect it to work better than it does. And I am always disappointed. Maybe I need to switch to a plain android phone instead of Samsung. There is an error message about not being able to connect with my email account, Can't be deleted. The sales person couldn't remove it either. And yes, I can open my email just fine.

I'm still learning how to use my phone there are a lot of new features compared to my old phone

it has lots of good feature. it's easy to program and fun too use. would recommend to my friends

I really like the Galaxy. Great features and would definitely recommend over Apple!

The phone with Otter case is big and heavy. When adding protective cover for screen, it takes me 2 or 3 pushes (not taps) to open the phone. Bixby has been useless when I used, the answers were not even close to correct (ask google same question, and got a correct answer).

Only negative is the placement of the thumbprint scanner. Everything else is pretty good so far.

It's a great phone to have. The new updated unlock security options are by far my favorite part!

A positive experience so far compared to the S7 and please note the s8 utilizes different plug.

I have gone through quite a few Samsung phones over the years (note, galaxy) and the quality continues to decline with every generation. My note was plagued with camera issues. I had high hopes for the S8 after the last note debacle. Samsung apparently falls into the look but don't touch; and definitely don't drop camp. The day after receiving my new phone I drop it and almost catch it halfway down before it tips out of my hand and lands on my laminate flooring. I think nothing of it and pick it back up. Well imagine my shock when the entire back of the phone was chipped and spider cracked. Samsung makes the phone "pretty" but you have to cover it up to prevent it from breaking every time you look at it. I give my wife a hard time about her Iphone but both her and my daughters have been through heck and remain unscathed. They also have had no issues with any functions of the camera or phone. Needless to say I will be abandoning the Samsung camp after this.

switched from Blackberry to this phone. Like it so far but still have a lot to get used to

The phone performs well, not unlike the previous Samsung phone I had. It met all expectations.

The display is stunning. Just getting use to changes Samsung made, will have to wait and see,

This phone worked for the first week I had it and has been freezing up and not working properly since. I'm sending the phone back to Samsung and hoping to get a new phone that doesn't freeze up. All in all I enjoyed the time I did get using this phone and hope when I hey a replacement I can learn more about the phone and what is capable of.

Previous Galaxy phone user. So far so good. Impressed with the touch sensitivity and Bixby.

Great Phone. Takes getting used to from other android phones ad the buttons are backwards.

Went from a g6 to the g8s, similar but very different. Guess there is a learning curve, but things that were simple on g6 were made confusing on g8s. Dont like that screen has to be "always on" to see the little space u must push hard or twice. Don't really care for curved screen either, but guess that goes with personal preferences.

Love the phone. Miss the help videos. Phone gets pretty hot during charging on charge pad.

Just an upgraded version of the previous phone. If your S7 works wait for a the S10.

Phone working nicely with many features. Camera ok. Not as sharp of a picture as they made it sound. VR headset can have fuzzy picture at times. We got our phones because of the promotions. They were out the first day. Samsung definitely sucks when it comes to promotional offers. Without those the phone isn't much different from my S5.
