Been a good phone but I really don't care for the "edge". I prefer my note 4.

Its just odd, annoying and way to hard to hold. I did give it 1 star for quality of camera but I absolutely hate the set up of these new Samsungs! Thinking if switching to Iphone but have always had Samsungs so not sure what to try but cant stand this one.

I'd recommend this phone. It's great. I love it. Everyone needs this phone.

I think it's a nice phone so far . They can always be a bit cheaper.

I have had this phone for about 3 1/2 weeks and even though the camera and screen are incredible the phone consistently drops calls and is very spotty with the Mobil data! I will be returning this phone to Best Buy and see what my options are!

This is the best phone to date. No other manufacturer even comes close. Huge screen, 2k+ resolution, great battery life and camera, etc....The battery even outlasts the Iphone 7 plus. Thats great news seeing how S8+ has faster processors and the screen is bigger, brighter, and higher res too!

The screen protector won’t stay on. I don’t like the round edges

As a long-time Samsung phone owner loving the Note 3 for so long and then the Note 7, pre-recall, I was hoping the Galaxy 8 was going to impress me with its new and improved features. Wrong, the so-called Gorilla glass has cracked twice on the back of the phone with falls of just a few feet I am wishing I would have never purchased this phone. The battery life is not good and will not last a day with normal to heavy use. Also, the "smart" security feature that saves you time unlocking the phone allows numerous apps to open on their own and even send texts and make phone calls. The phone is a disaster and can't even get simple screen rotation to work. Is Samsung trying to send me back to the dark side I left years ago? And yes, I dont like those apples but may have no choice!

Waited for Samsung to redeem themselves and read all the reviews before buying this S8+ but it’s been acting up since the first day. It persistently shuts itself down at will which can be quite annoying. Dealing with Samsung is a nightmare and phone is still malfunctioning.

bought new galaxy 8plus..the next day the screen would turn a rainbow color on screen..got worse everyday ..returned it after 10 days .exchanged it for a,new one..hopefully this one works...was simply time consuming to return and redo all my apps..

While activating, it slid off my lap (from 25 inches high) and the screen shattered. 850 + 200 deductible. Even the new replacement seems to be extra sensitive to anything in your pocket. I'd wait for them to fix this issue. #fragileglass

I wasn't as happy to use to many constant updates going on and had to return for issues constant loosing messages and pictures went to store several times and called for help and watched videos return it

I was the biggest Samsung hater since I had the Galaxy S2 (and S3 very briefly) and went through 8 phones in two years (warranty issues).. I swore off Samsung phones for good... I decided to give this one a chance, sold my Moto Z force and pre-ordered this one. Seemed to be a great deal with the free VR and the 100 bucks off. It does take a little time to get used to the fingerprint scanner and the curved screen but that's not a big deal. I refuse to use the stock launcher so I'm sticking to Google Now Launcher until Google discontinues it. My thoughts on this phone so far have been very positive. The display is amazing (although not by THAT much over the Moto--which is a compliment to that phone). The phone NEVER runs hot, even during the installation process which is a good thing. The battery life is just as good if not better than the moto...and there's a headphone jack!!!! The audio quality was a little disappointing for me--I was expecting HTC boomsound quality but instead it was pretty much on par with the Moto Z (not bad overall but I need MORE output to power my headphones). The one feature I absolutely hate is the iris scanner--takes too long and is too inconvenient. Also, note that it survived a 5 foot front display drop on concrete with no issues. I plan on using this until the Pixel 2 comes out

When I went in to purchase this phone, I was told that I would have the option of purchasing a $99 bundle that came with a SD card comma the VR headset, and Bluetooth headphones. I picked up my phone on the release date and they were already "unavailable". This was the whole reason I decided to preorder the phone in the first place. And I've been trying to get this situation taken care of for over a month now, and they keep trying to blow me off. Countless phone calls, chat sessions, and emails. Very disappointed in Samsung

My third Android. This one is miserable. No instructions on use. Geek Squad in store knows almost nothing about it. Had extreme trouble loading my 3 email addresses. Asking for a new facebook password does not work!! 2 tech people I've contacted have given up on this. If I can find my S6, which I lost, this S8+ will go right back to the store. I've spent and wasted 4 miserable days trying to use this phone. Very frustrating for a person who is president of his company and cannor spend any more time on this phone.

This phone sucks the screen too sensitve drop it once and it cracked. Im going with apple next time
