Wouldn't Activate, Refused To Reimburse $100 Loss

I pre-ordered the S8+ through BestBuy.com. I went to pick it up on release day and was given a paper for self activation. That didn't work so after wasting over an hour on the phone with Verizon (and going through four different support people) I was told to take it back to the store and the only thing they could do is cancel the order, refund my money, and resell me another one without the $100 pre-order savings I previously received. I was also told that "this happens regularly on BestBuy.com" by Verizon and when I asked "why would you continue selling on BestBuy.com if this happens?" he said "It only happens sometimes." I went in and Best Buy's in house Verizon tech spent an hour trying to get it activated, calling into "main headquarters" to get assistance, all with no success. I asked if they would give a $100 gift card to cover that loss since it was their fault and they refused, so I got my money back and refused to buy another - 2 days later they started a promotion giving away a free $100 gift card if you bought the phone. Really disappointing. Sticking with my Note 5 until the Note 8 comes out and will exercise much more scrutiny on any future Samsung/Verizon/BestBuy purchases that are tied together. I wasted over a half day of my time and $10 in gas, which they clearly don't care about and that I won't get back.

I've had a Samsung s6 forever and decided it was time for an upgrade. I received the phone and the rear glass was cracked in the bottom corner out of the box. Now I'm trying to call best buy to see what I can do to fix this issue and there is an hour and a half wait.

This is my first Samsung phone. Beautiful phone but....Noticed screen crack on corner within month. Don't know how it got there. Maybe it was already cracked when I got it because I have not misused my phone. I do have a phone case. First phone I've ever had that broke.

Screen durability is poor

My screen cracked on both curved sides after a 3 ft fall. The phone was in a Samsung case. The screen also has numerous minor scuffs that can only be seen in reflections. I have never had a screen crack in any other phone I have owned.

I put up with dark dumb touch home button which i would press and nothing happens.
Dont like the black screen with no style on the edges.
The default is not hd to save battery life even though samsung brags on screen quality
The final killer was calls from N Y to Va. with the person asking me to repeat myself. T mobile would not admit they have a problem and it was within 14 days so i got a refund.
My S7 edge is just as fast and the screen is just as good.

I only had this product for 17 days and when the phone fell, it shattered from one side and cracked from the bottom to the top of the phone. Even with a glass screen protector it still broke. I've been an Android owner for 10 years this is my first time experiencing such a fragile phone from one drop it broke. I did not get the warranty, and because of it Best Buy will not touch my phone. For a phone to be water resistant but not fall resistant its not worth the price. I am extremely dissatisfy with my purchase

Big Bugs at Rollout

All of the positive reviews on this site must have been written before they installed the Security Update that was pushed out on day 1. I would have been positive as well when I first got the phone. Just Google "DQA keeps stopping". This is a huge problem that Verizon has acknowledged but has no fix for. Samsung, as far as I know, has not acknowledged the problem. But hundreds if not thousands of people are experiencing it. As this problem is manifesting itself on Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T I assume it''s a Samsung problem. Just Google what I said above before you purchase this phone (Or the S8)

S8+ has a Wifi Problem

Straight out of the box the WiFi will not stay connected. This is apparently a common enough problem with the S8 that multiple threads can be found by searching s8 wifi disconnects.
I contacted Samsung and they offer a few suggestions (reset your phone, network, router, etc) but then the only option left is to send it back to them and be without a phone for 2 weeks. It is unfortunate that another beautiful device is diminished by poor samsung quality control.

This phone has major issues. Most importantly, bluetooth will not connect properly. If you stream to your car, it constantly skips. All the time. No amount of troubleshooting fixes and Samsung isn't fixing or even acknowledging. GPS also has issues. I love the phone but unfortunately, I use BT too much and this is not worth any amount of $ if that doesn't work.

First of all this device feels very big in my hands, it feels that it might just slip off. Battery life is not good, I already lost 10% of battery life while using google maps. Worst thing is it doesn't have iMessage, or Apple Pay. Returning back to the store.
