I have been using the S7 edge since it launched and the s9 arrived at the perfect time for me to upgrade. The S9 in my opinion is the best Samsung Yet. Samsung worked out all the issues with the earlier S8 plus and added a few extras. This phone is snappy. The display even when set at FHD+ is gorgeous. I read in some online reviews that the battery life is average but I have been constantly cruising through my day with 40 percent remaining. That's excellent as far as battery life is concerned. The build quality is amongst the best in the industry. And that camera. Amazing low light performance. Unlike previous Samsung phones. The UI is amazingly responsive. Almost pixel like. And the dual speakers are loud and compliments that gorgeous HDR display while watching content. Be sure to use the phone with a case as the phone is quite slippery.

Upgraded my phone to the S9+. The speed of this phone as well as the many camera features is amazing. The purchase at best buy was a good choice over the carrier due to the price being cheaper and the extra items they included with it.

I love the camera and the phone works well. One glitch is that Google maps sometimes sounds like she is talking in a tunnel and is hard to understand. Bixby is useless for me. I have Google, why do I need Bixby? It does pretty much what it is supposed to do. I had a slight learning curve and not all of my photos transferred over from my S8. Not sure why Not happy with Best Buy as they were not clear that I needed to sign up for a new credit card. for the 24 month financing. I should have known this and should have read the contract/ fine print more carefully. My fault. I thought it was just being added to my phone bill but it is a credit card. Luckily I have very good credit and it wasn't damaged by the new card. .

Excellent phone , way more functionality than most people use cell phones for , camera is awesome , fingerprint access for apps is really good and helps with privacy/security , display is too good , performance is very fast , almost everything is good with this phone , but if you install too many apps the phone slows a bit and starts showing some lag , once you uninstall a few it is ok and lightning fast again , this is a premium phone so its a little disappointing that it can not handle a few more apps , overall this is still probably one of the best phones out there , go ahead and buy it , you won't regret

The phobe has so many features and offerings I haven't had a chance to try them out. Make sure you get a case immediately because it is slippery. Battery lasts more than a day and I only have to charge it every other day or so. I decided to buy this phone because I couldn't justify an extra $400 for the S10. Camera quality is still great either way

It's a great phone. It's fast, it takes nice photos, the battery lasts for a while, it's beautiful with a beautiful display. It makes phone calls and, if you're not coming from an iPhone and dealing with that nonsense, sends texts. Maybe it's just something I'm doing wrong, but my only complaint is that I can't send photos I take from the camera app without screenshotting them. From the messaging app, I can take a picture and it sends but if I choose one from the app that I took with the camera app normally, it wont send. I suspect they're too large, but I didn't ever have an issue with that on prior phones. Other than that little annoyance, it's the first Samsung I've been able to keep that got me off of the iPhone train.

Fastest phone on the internet nice eye night mode.

This was my first major phone purchase, I was a little scared to spend so much money. I did a lot of research and felt comfortable enough to purchase it. A few months in a I still love it ! The camera is great, switching between apps, playing games, etc is all so fast! I haven’t had any problems! My favorite part is just how fast it charges! The fast charging is really handy when you only have a short time to charge yet need more than a few percentage points of battery! I would recommend this phone to everyone!

I upgraded from the 8+ to the 9+... Most reviews said not enough upgrades to warrant the money. I have used it for 3 weeks and I am happy with my decision to upgrade. I use the camera more than anything else. That was the deciding factor for spending the money. I love almost everything new on the camera. You can change shooting modes by swiping left or right or just tapping on a mode. The one thing I find frustrating is when I try to change aperture or shutter settings with the slider when shooting in PRO-MODE it will CHANGE MODES if you are not careful when using the adjustment slider. Everything else about the phone is awesome, lots of new features. I would not have upgraded from the 8+ to the S9 without the duel camera and smaller screen, only the 9+ for the extra camera and 6 gigs of ram instead of 4 gigs. Side note--- I only paid $516 for my S8+ on sale. Had I paid the full $820 price I may not have taken that big of loss. Summery! I love this new 9 plus. If you do not care about the camera you may not want to step up from an 8+. You can personalize it to do everything the way you like. Apple phones are great phones, (more expensive) and BORING!! Android allows you to create a UI that feels like you!

I had the Note5 and upgraded to this phone. I enjoyed the speed and battery life of this phone. The camera image is very clear compared to my old phone.

Just a slight upgrade from the s8 I had before the battery life is way better to me and the camera is awesome...it opens apps and processes everything quickly

Bought the unlocked version, doesn't have all those extra apps. Camera is great with extras. Have not had any issues and battery life is better.

Needed to upgrade from a Galaxy S4 which just died, and I'm glad I did upgrade. The camera on the S9+ is incredible, the clarity, the settings and ease of use put it on the top of the list. Now with the fingerprint scanner on the back, there's no reason to buy anything else. Since it's unlocked, it doesn't come with all that annoying Verizon bloatware - total bonus! It does feel a tad bit big and heavy, despite being so sleek. But the larger battery made me choose it over the S9. Either way I think you can't go wrong.

This beautiful phone is fast and has a great camera. Easy to navigate. Plus...i got it unlocked so i can take it to any carrier i want.

I received this as a birthday present and was pleasantly surprised! I have been a Galaxy Phone user for years. My last phone Galaxy S7 edge was great too until the updates and phone began to slow down taken up to 30 seconds just to view emails not alone the battery life was non existent. This Galaxy 9+ is a little bigger then I used too but the battery life, graphics, and easy speed to every things is will worth it. Besides Suri it has BIXBY, possibly Suri brother. You will not be disappointed with this one!

Waited for the right time to upgrade from my iPhone 4s so anything was going to be light years better. Love the design and curvature of the phone itself. Has everything I need as far as options and performance. I initially went with the S9, but liked it so much I traded it in for the Plus to take advantage of all the specs. There are some things you're going to like and dislike switching from Apple to an Android, but all in all that's the way the phone industry is now with all the competitors.

You won't find a bigger and better Android phone than the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, thanks to its oversized 6.2-inch curved screen and low-light-defeating dual-lens camera. Sure, it looks exactly like last year's S8 Plus, but it does fix the fingerprint sensor location (it's now center-aligned on the back) and speakers (now stereo). The new AR Emoji mode is overrated, though, and its higher price is tough to justify. This is for people who want the biggest screen and the best camera on one phone.

I am a Samsung fan and have always bought their products. This phone does not disappoint. I had to get a new phone as my old one was getting obsolete. The Best Buy employees were a big help in getting me set up with the best option that fit my needs at a price I wanted to pay. I am still learning the features that my old phone did not have, but so far, I really like this s9+ It is much faster and the battery life is good! So much better than my j3. I have only had this for about two months but as stated before, I am happy with it. I would recommend it. Best Buy, Thank You for all your help!!!
