I switched from a Samsung Note 4. I was worried about loosing the pen included with the Note model. Well, I do miss it. However, I love the smaller footprint of the S9+. It slips into my inside suit pocket and is much easier to hold due the the smaller width. Just need to get better at screen pecking. Everything about the phone has been quite good. The transfer at US Cellular took 5 minutes. All my data was easy to transfer and really enjoy having the 256gb card in the phone (upgraded from 128GB). I love the screen and camera combination. As expected, this was a major upgrade over the Note 4 from 4 generations ago. I am a camera buff, so this was important to me. This phone has two lenses allowing a 2X focal length. Really good for taking head shots without having to be in someones face. Also very good for grandchildren if you are trying to sneak a movie or pic. Once the see the phone, they usually race over to look at what you are doing. FYI, only the plus model has the two lenses ( and the Note 9) Really love there looks of the phone and think it earned a five star.

I bought the unlocked GSM phone and added a T-Mobile SIM without any issues. I have a regular T-Mobile One account. I really like the size, not too big. I've had Galaxys before (last was GS7), but I've been using the iPhone 6+ and 8+ most recently. The biggest adjustment has been finding things in Settings. I remapped the Bixby button to Google Assistant, using bxActions. I installed different launchers and settled on Action Launcher. I liked the left and right swipe menus. These customizations are what I love about Android. Samsung has made this a solid phone that they have been refining over the years. I'm not a big fan of the curved edges and would have chosen one without if there was one. This is where I dropped one of the stars to only 4. I'd really like to give it 4.5 stars, but it's not perfect, so can't have 5 stars. I seriously considered the Google Pixel 3, but without a microSD slot, that's a deal breaker. If you are looking at this phone then you have done your research. If you want the fastest phone you'll get the new iPhone X-whatever. If you want the best camera, you get the Pixel 3, but if you want nearly as good a camera, great speed AND microSD expandability, then look no further. Well, anyway, great phone no regrets would buy again. I highly recommend the Galaxy S9+ and saving $$ buying open box, if available.

amazing phone with a snapdragon 845. i had to say that again becaus ethis phone for $719 with a headphone jack is a steal. why spend 850-1000 dollars to get the same snapdragon chip. this phone comes with all the bells and whistles and unlocked to be used for any carrier you want. with a case and tampered glass 810 dollars with tax. never buy a phone at release people.

What an upgrade from my previous phone.. G8 camera, amazing speeds and the battery life is wonderful..

Performance is great! Battery life is outstanding. Take excellent pictures. Speaker volume is good.

I love my new phone. It is very fast and has a great design. Sound and camera are awesome.

The S9+ was fully unlocked and ready for my carrier. I use T-mobile, but it will work with many other carriers. I think it is one of the best from a design aspect as I am not a fan of the notch or cutout. The screen is bright and easy to read. All the apps on the phone are snappy and there is no lag.

I had the galaxy note 8 and wasnt that impressed with it in all honesty. I traded in and got the galaxy s9 plus and although on paper they are quite similar the galaxy s9 plus has refined all the things which for me didn't quite come off to the level expected on the note 8. Iris scanner / face recognition works perfectly, the camera is far superior and in general just performs better all round.

I've had this phone for a year now and have had no major problems with it. Pros: no lag when using, charges fast, battery life is long, screen is really nice, camera is nice, screen edge does a good job ignoring unintended touches. Cons: Some Samsung bloatware, Samsung Pass not working properly with my Chase app, problems triggering Tasker tasks.

I think this is an amazing phone! The camera is amazing, the disability is great (me and my kids have put it through the ringer) and I cannot remember it ever dropping a call. After all this time the battery life is still good. With the recent updates the phone has started becoming glitchy but that seems to be a samsung thing after a while...

I like the S9+ because of the camera quality and the long lasting battery usage! It feels so nice knowing you're all charged up for the day. No more worrying for me. I finally upgraded my small S6 to the S9+ and it feels really nice to do so. I'm also trying out a big phone and so far I like it! The S9+ is just really nice. I am a Samsung person! I love my new phone!

The S9+ definitely delivers on the camera, battery life and speed. Good buy!

I have to learn where to hold my finger, when taking pictures. There is a Bixby button, that I keep pressing when trying to take a pic. Which takes me out of the camera, and into Bixby. Also, the volume buttons, when in camera mode, when pressed will do multi pics. Once I learn how to hod the phone in camera mode, I'll be good to go. The phone does take GREAT pictures.

I love my galaxy s9 phone. I wouldn't change it for any other phone. It's the best phone i have ever owned. I would recomend it to anybody who enjoys technology because it has it all. Great camara,super image and most of all very manageble and easy to acces anything not complicated what so ever. My best buy so far in 2018. Thanks best buy, you vuys are great.

I have usually bought a phone when the next model or two had come out. This is the first time I bought a phone as soon as available. This is an amazing phone. I am still finding out about everything it can do. It is lightening fast, the camera is fantastic, I think it does everything except cook and clean my house. I can't imagine how a phone could possibly do more!

I will start with the good: The battery lasts a long time, even with heavy use. The phone feels sturdy and decent quality. I still like having a head phone jack. Having expandable memory is great for all my downloaded music, photos and videos. The camera works good as well. Now the bad: Not sure how I feel about the wrap around screen. The screen size is small (i have the 9+) (My Nexus 6 was a great screen size). I really miss having a pure android phone because all of the Samsung bloatware is not really that good (at least samsung lets you turn Bixby off).

oh my! good night shots & as usual the Samsung camera is wow! wow! pictures are realistic, perfect colors & brightness. the speed is flash fast, butter smooth, quick like a fox. without the stylus its perfect match for note9.

Great phone for the money! I upgraded from the Galaxy 6 and really enjoy the larger screen. I really like the features that are available with the phone. the biggest upgrade is with taking photos, much clearer and like the additional options. I chose the unlocked phone so I can change carriers if needed.
