Great tablet. We took this on a trip back east and were pleasantly surprised to be able to watch videos for several hours and still have over 50% battery life when we landed. Small and compact so easy to travel with. Not many options from what I saw out there as far as covers/cases etc. but I'm sure they are in the process of being produced. Also - thank you Samsung for making a product with a universal charger! Can charge several different items (notably, my Motorola phone) with this charger. Also able to expand memory to double the size for only about $30 for the memory card. Apple could learn some things.

I only have good things to say about this tablet.I like the ability to add memory, one very important factor in my opinion.Very easy to use. I find that I use my tablet more and my laptop less.The camera is great this was a Birthday present from my daughter. I would have to say that it's the best gift I have received in forever.! I really like the size of it also. It can easily fit in my purse. I could have had an ipad! this tablet was a better choice for me . ;)Just buy one!;)

Got it for $149 because wanted jelly bean and android has a great draw poker game. My Samsung 2, 7 inch still works but wanted a bigger screen. Also have a iPad 2. Like both systems. Now that Samsung as presence in Best Buy more likely to buy since sometimes need help with stuff. Samsung makes good Products. Great screen, vivid colors, old battery life. Easy to hold. Very light.

I'm typing my review on the device. I really enjoy the solid manufacture of this tablet however as a manufacturing feature request I would have added some texture to the back plate of the tablet to make it easier to grip. However, by adding a cover made for this tablet it is now is easier to hold, and all the features work through this cover.the setup was very simple and Samsung has done a great job at porting applications from my phone which is also Android, to this device. battery life is more than acceptable however if you have a lot of applications running in the background like any Android device your battery will drain. When comparing processor speed to my 2 1/2 year old Android phone this device clearly shows the processor speed the same apps on both devices. my only major complaint how to do with the edge space on this device, I'm referring to the space on the edges of the tablet to grip on next to the touch sensitive glass. I find that my fingers accidentally can press on the tablet where I did not want to, which can make Web pages leave or videos are when didn't intend for to happen. This happens accidentally with menu and back to. This is really my only major complaint but minor, however minor because this device has virtually replaced my laptop. Finally, I use Google Cloud for printing. Using this app allows me to print from the tablet through my laptop from anywhere I have internet access. My laptop has to be on at home and the printer powered and connected for this to work. I'm telling you this because this has extended the usefulness of the tablet without having to buy a new wireless printer. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase. Graphics are nice and does the nifty I things bought it for. Camera could use a few more megapixels, but takes good pictures.

I mostly purchased this for the camera option & wifi to use while traveling so I wouldn't have to bring my laptop & camera. When the camera works, I absolutely love the clarity of the pictures, and the variety of zoom! However, the camera tends to have a mind of its own at times & will work randomly. My friend has the identical product with identical random experience. This product is slimmer & lighter than an I-pad and costs quite a bit less so I would definitely recommend it. In addition, the internet is just as good - maybe better (than I-pad) (I have both).

Love my new tablet! Super easy to use. Easy to download apps. Nice large screen. Light weight. Great camera. First tablet and I love it!

This is a great tablet for any level user. I like the larger screen, which makes it easy to read but still is small enough to hold in one hand... and the memory that's available on the device. Its processor is quick enough for any need. Only white was available when I went to purchase, but that hasn't been a problem. I would recommend screen saver to avoid scratching the screen as a precaution, as the resolution provides for good visuals

This is my first tablet and I am so glad I got a Samsung. I almost got a certain fruity tablet but luckily the salesperson showed me this one before I purchased. Better price, better screen, faster processor, way more features, and expandable memory are just a few advantages of this device. Why anyone would pay more for a fruit tablet is beyond me.

This tablet is terrific! It is much faster, smoother, and efficient than comparable tablets (i.e., iPad) and looks extremely attractive and stylish. The 8" screen size is perfect - not too small and not too big that it feels like one is carrying a laptop - it can easily be transported anywhere. This is a flawless device. I am incredibly satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this device to others!!

Such a great tablet. Very fast, perfect size. My husband complains about small screens and not being able to type on my iPad mini,but has no problem on this one.

bought this for my wife. she loves it , played with the cheap ones. graphics can not touch the samsung,also the twin cameras are a real plus. bought a cheap one and they should not have even added that camera. I picked samsung because you can add more memory, and our phones are samsung. The 8" is perfect, fits her purse and light enough to hold even with the protective case added.

I enjoy using this tablet. I can take it anywhere. It is attractive, light weight, easy to use, has a decent screen and is reasonably fast.

I owned a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 for about a month. Something about it just didn't feel right, so I exchanged it for the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 model. I am in love with the Tab 3 8.0 version. The primary differences between the two models are that the Tab 3 has no S Pen (thus $100 cheaper), is smaller is overall size and has a newer version of the Android operating system. Overall, I am very impressed with this little tablet. I like the smaller size versus the 10.1 models, thus making this ultra-portable. The battery life is pretty good for watching movies and even playing games. This little power house comes fairly close to replacing my laptop. If only I could rip MP3's and compress DVD's, then I wouldn't need the laptop. My only only knock against it is that the picture quality from the built-in 5mp camera is poor. 8mp should be standard by now.

I was in need of a new Kindle so my husband told me to go pick the one I wanted out at Best Buy for my birthday. I walked in, having researched every Kindle there was through Amazon and Best Buy, but I was still not sure what I wanted, only that I was looking at the Kindles. So, after looking at the models and not being happy with the changes in the newer designs, it was with great trepidation that I allowed the sales associate to show me the Galaxy Tab 3. I had to admit that it was rather impressive as far as store models go, and finally decided to give it a try after I was guaranteed I could bring it back within 15 days if I didn't like it. Within ten minutes of having it out of the box I was in love with it. I downloaded my Kindle reading app and still have all my books available to me, but with a ton more features. I have yet to find anything I can't do with it as opposed to being limited with the Kindle device. It's more like a mini computer compared to an ereader that can play games. It's easy to use, the screen is CRYSTAL clear, the sound is great, and the ability to customize, along with tons of other awesome features, has me head over heals in love with the Galaxy Tab 3. I use it for school and have a lot of apps that help keep me organized and also bought a wireless keyboard that works amazing with it when I need to type up documents in either Polaris or Google Drive. After owning it for just over a month, I can safely say I'll NEVER own another Kindle again. You get so much more with this device and I paid the same thing for it that would I have a Kindle and got an extra inch on the screen size. Best birthday present ever.

Great tablet for the money. Keep in mind this is the first one I have owned or ever used, so I have little to compare it to. Being a senior citizen, and new to tablets, it helped that it was easy to learn and use. The help screen functions were great, and I have a 10 year old granddaughter who is a pro at it, which helped. I bought it mainly for entertainment when I'm sitting in a Starbucks or a waiting room somewhere. I am amazed at the Wi-Fi available out in public areas. Browse my favorite websites, check my email, play games, watch movies. Screen quality is great. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this tablet , especially for a tablet beginner.

Purchased for my son, the tablet is providing incredible entertainment. The screen is crisp and the tablet is fast enough for all the current games he has downloaded. My son has added security measures so that no one can gain access--which is a detriment to our supervision. For the cost, this tablet blows away the competition!

This is my first tablet after debating for some time about "why" I needed yet another eletronic component in my life. Fact is, I love it. It's just the right size to carry anywhere in my purse. While my smartphone is good for a quick look at the internet, it's really too small to spend much time there. This tablet is big enough to be easy to use but not so big as to be clumsy. The resolution is wonderfully crisp and clear. I've been impressed with the battery life. I have not used it for business, so can't comment on that. Great price compared to others.

Took this recent purchase on a trip to Hawaii. One of the reasons I went with Samsung was the USB port so I could load pictures from my Nikon on to the tablet for viewing. Very easy to do and the camera and video in the tablet are also great. I had about 180 pictures, new and old, in the Nikon and ended up organizing them into files on the plane trip home. With the 64 gig sd card added I barely scratched the memory surface. Everything else, email, Amazon books, web, apps works great. Why would anyone waste the money on an I-Pad?

Overall I love this tablet. I would recommend it to friends. Battery life is great and functions are totally awesome for web searching, video, games,tv, mail even my small businesses needs. Voice recognition software is far above others I have tried. I did initially have a difficult time finding a case. Was so new are local stores had none. I found a huge more affordable selection on ebay and amazon however. And some websites(fairpoint ex.) won't approve web browser for bill pay. But that was the only one so far. The size of this tablet is great! Easy to take with you , large enough to watch a movie or multiscreen. Really a great investment. I hardly ever use my regular laptop now.

I had the note one and was extremely happy with it. the note 3 is faster, lighter and has a better size for holding. the note 3 has had flawless operation since i have had it now going on 4 months. I would recommend this phone to everybody , and i just did.
