The Samsung tab works very good. You can watch movies, tv shows, read books. The Samsung tab is very light, do you need to buy a protective case and screen protector. The software is very smooth, fast and elegant. The apps store has a good selection of cool apps and games.The screen resolution looks hood and pictures come out just as good as and camera phone. I highly recommend this product to anyone. Especially if you already like Samsung and its galaxy phones and accessories

I purchased this on Black Friday and got a GREAT deal! I already have a Galaxy S3 phone, so there was no learning curve with the Android OS. It has all the same great features as my phone, except for a camera flash. Very durable... but I did get a case for it anyway. The speed is amazing and I couldn't ask for better battery life! My only gripe (slight gripe) is that I would like to see it have a flash for the forward-facing camera. It's definitely not a deal-breaker, but a slight annoyance just the same.

I just bought this before a big trip. It takes great pictures, and is easy to use. I love reading books on the backlit pages- no need for a book light. There is still so much I need to learn about this tablet (my first), and I would welcome an instruction for "Dummies" book. As this 8 inch is so new, I am hoping a manuel will come out soon.

Easy to figure out how to use, even for someone who does not spend a lot of time on a computer. Very portable: lightweight/compact. Will be good to take on trips for a quick lookup. Very good screen clarity. Like the ability to enlarge data on screen. Takes very good pictures; excellent clarity. Very pleased with purchase.

I bought this to avoid using my computer as much. It has been great and easy to learn. Initially the WatchOn app was't supported but is now due to update. Great for light computing, reading, and watching video. Excellent screen quality.

I had a 10" tablet that wasn't anywhere near as good as this one. Going from 10" to 8" is no big deal. The screen seems bigger than 8" and is so bright. The tablet screen is really clear and crisp. Easy to use. Nothing bad to say about it. I'm glad I bought it. I had a gift certificate plus rewards points so I didn't have to pay full price. So this was a good deal for me.

Absolutely love this tablet. Works perfectly with my smart tv and in my opinion offers more freedom than the iPad, and for half the price. Battery lasts a long time and the screen is a good size (not overkill). Also, the dual screen feature makes life much easier when doing most things.

This is my second tablet and I like this one so much better. The slightly larger screen is great and this one works really well on the internet. I also love not being tied to a particular store in terms of getting books and apps. I've found the battery life to be sufficient for my use. Overall I think it's a really good tablet for the price.

The Samsung Tab 3, 8.0 inch is the perfect tablet as far as I am concerned, nice looking, perfect size, very fast and it is a Samsung and the price is very good for all you get. I am really impressed with the new Samsung tablet so far.

I use it for reading books, web browsing, recording birthday parties. It is very easy to carry around beacause small enough to carry and large enough to read books, watch movies and browse the web.

Still learning how the droid system works as I am used to apple os. Light and portable. Good display Good sound Battery life good Not happy with the Samsung original case so I am looking for something better that will keep it better protected. Lots of programs to select from but not as many as apple apps for iPad or iPhone.

Decided to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 after the screen on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 broke (after many drops by my three year old) This is basically the S4, but in an 8 inch package. For a tablet, this size is really nice. It fits in the hands better and is much easier to bring along. The only real negative is the placement of the buttons. They are in the same place as the Samsung phones…they don’t rotate with the screen like the old Tabs. When holding in landscape orientation it is very easy to hit the back/return button and exit programs. I recently purchased the Samsung book cover case and this helps with this problem. Everything else works as advertised.

I was surprised that it didn't come with a memory card, and still have to buy one. My only other complaint is that I often change pages or otherwise close or move when I don't mean to just because of the way I'm holding the edge of the tablet. But I'm enjoying the smaller size (instead of the 10" one that was stolen), and finding it very responsive and easy to use. One thing I miss is having a way to clear "recent history" for times when I might use it to make an online purchase. I therefore have tor resort to my computer for such purchases.

I absolutely love this tablet for my needs. I purchased this so I could have access to my google drive documents in a readable format on the go. Well done. Does exactly what I want with no problems. The screen is sharp and this tablet responds well. The camera is lacking though. Aside from that minimal negative, this thing responds quickly, and the battery lasts, so I'm quite happy!

tried to decide between the galaxy tab and the ipad and i made the right choice. Its fast and you can upgrade the memory unlike the ipad. Responsive touch screen.Good sound quality

I use my tablet everyday for emails, text messaging, web surfing, shopping. I'd be lost without the portability, the screen is perfect from reading to watching movies, you tube clips everything. Only not so good things are the screen collects finger prints like a cops ink pad and the exterior color of back is white, shows any dirt immediately. So far the battery seems to be holding up well, charge overnight and its good for the next day. I would definitely recommend this product to any and all my friends and family.

Not user friendly for old lady, but technology is beyond my grasp. worked for me on a long trip but sometimes needed to find youngster to help me. a basic instruction booklet on real paper would be nice for those of us not tech savvy. It will get easier to use but hate not having something to check for info when I am traveling. Do not like that pics go to Dropbox instead of Picasa which is what I prefer. Finding wi-fi on a trip can be tricky but not fault of tablet, but motel/hotel/rest area etc. Apparently so new that no protective case available at time of purchase and so being careful with it keeps me from taking it too many places. Once I can find a case, I may feel safer taking it places. Slippery so worry about dropping it. May be a bit too hard to learn for me. I know the young folks that helped me liked it a lot so I think Samsung may have a delighted market among the folks that grew up with this stuff. Recommended for those not so "archaic" as me.

I love the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The 8-inch tablet is the perfect size. This is my first tablet and I find it very easy to use. Since I have a Galaxy phone, everything from my phone linked to the tablet. I had no problems downloading my favorite apps. The pictures are very clear and sharp. I would definitely recommend this tablet to everyone.

This tablet was a replacement because my Kindle HDX had all sorts of problems..I should have never bought a kindle HDX and strictly went with this..I originally bought it because 1. It had google play and the HDX didn`t. 2. The HDX always had blue pages when I was trying to play games this has never had blue pages. I have a keyboard connected to this tablet which makes it easier. I also needed a tablet that I could watch videos and the HDX didn`t have a great video player. I do many things with my tablet check email, play games, facebook, check email, read ..Even the camera is better than the HDX which has a front facing camera instead of a back one.. I also bought more memory for this tablet U can`t do this with the HDX.. For those looking for a tablet I would recommend this..I`m quite happy with it and wished I would have picked this out instead of wasting 2 months of the HDX being very displeased...

Was looking for an inexspensive tablet but not too small. The galaxy 8 inch was the perfect size to watch movies and surf the internet. I love the features and how easy it is to use. The screen is really bright and it takes great pictures. I'm very happy with this purchase. It was hard to find a case for the 8 inch galaxy, but I found the perfdct one on Specks brand website.
