Overall this is an Awesome tablet, tiny, lightweight, a great screen, but, for me 8GB is not a good amount of storage, I know you can expand it with an extra micro sd. But Samsung have to release the Android Marshmallow that allows you to merge the external with the internal storage, as soon as possible, since you have to move manually the apps or games from the Internal to External Memory every time that you install a new app or if the app is updated and this s is a big headache, at least for me. But how I'v said before, the tablet is great, runs the major apps fast, the screen resolution is great, the touch screen has a very good response, and the Tablet itself is beautiful. For the price you won't find anything better.

Super fast perfect size and I love that it not that heavy.

This device can be slow at times. Videos have stopped while the audio kept playing. The rotation is annoying as it can rotate in all 4 directions. 8GB is not enough nowadays. You can get an SD to expand memory, but not all things can be moved to the SD card.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 is a great tablet. I prefer the smaller 7" screen because it isn't bulky, and it's easy to carry around...the smaller size comes in handy when watching TV onboard a flight equipped with satellite television. Battery life seems to be really good too.

My 10 year old son purchased this tablet with birthday money he had received. We looked at other tablets and settled on this. It is a great product for the price! We have purchased other less expensive tablets, but have not had very good luck with longevity with these cheaper products. To me, it is worth spending a little more and getting much more in quality. It is extremely user friendly, he set the whole thing up by himself in the car before we even got home. It seems to have very good battery life, great picture quality and is able to do everything he wanted it to do. We are very happy with our purchase.

Hello: Below is my review for this Tab A 7-inch tablet. Unfortunately, last night I was trying to review this tablet, and I did, but my review was accidentally posted for the 8-inch version that has 32 GB of internal storage. I had purchased both versions. Please note that THIS tablet has only eight gigabytes of internal storage. Anyway, the problem is that I either clicked on the wrong tablet when I tried to review this one, or maybe somebody at Best Buy switched my review to the other tablet, but in any case, I had intended to post my review for the 7-inch tablet (and my review was posted for the 8-inch version). Anyway this same review, which I just copied and pasted, is actually my review for THIS tablet, so hopefully it will go to the right tablet this time! I added a little bit of content to what I copied and pasted, so my review has a bit more this time. HERE IS MY REVIEW: This is a really very nice tablet that is lightweight. I use it for studying, because I can place documents on it and read them in bed without its weight straining my muscles and creating tension. It is not an extremely fast and powerful tablet, but it would be great for taking on a trip, because you can use it to read, and it is very lightweight. This tablet does not have very much internal storage, but you can insert an SD card. Surprisingly, some of the apps are partially, but not fully, transferable to your SD card in terms of your storage. Also, this varies by the app. A lot of apps will partially transfer in terms of storage, but some will not transfer at all. Further, if you remove your SD card, you have to start all over again and partially retransfer your apps to your SD card (among those that can be partially transferred that way). While not as electronically powerful, in many ways this is much better than a smartphone, and yet it is still pretty small and portable!

i love samsung and this is no exception - great size, clear screen, good speed and readability, thrilled it takes sd memory to extend storage. sadly it has the same problem my last galaxy tab had - the battery overheated & bubbled up and killed the tablet. since it's under warranty it's out for repairs, but the battery fails are a known issue and it would rock if samsung would sort that out.

This 7" (silver) Samsung tablet is awesome. Got it on sale before the holiday season, so great price. Incredibly clear screen, fast performance. Added a 128 GB microSD card (holds tons of movies and music files (and all the apps I've installed as the device only has 8 GB of RAM)) and a drop-proof case. Great battery life. Add headphones and you've got radio. Access to the Google Play app store and you're all set. Once I configured my Google account, Gmail and everything else just integrated right into it. Haven't played with the cameras yet, but I'm sure they will be fine for Skype'ing.

Not too bad for the size & price. Great for playing my games & smalls things I do while lounging without having something big & cumbersome to handle. I like it fine. Suits my needs.

I like the size of this tablet and the ease of use. It also seems to hold a charge nicely, but I don't use it everyday either. Nice screen too.

This is a good size tablet that I bought for my wife so she could easily put it in her purse to take with her. So, the size and the price point are good on it. My only issue with it is that it only has 8 GB of internal memory. I'm a little surprised they even make a tablet with that little internal memory. I did add an external SD Card that doesn't cost much, but you have to be proactive in moving apps and storing pics and vids on that external card.

This tablet is the perfect size for slipping in a purse or a small bag for travelling. It isn't extremely fast but does a great job running simple apps and surfing. The picture quality is good for watching movies.

This was a gift for my mother and she loves it... the price is just right for a tablet and its functions are simple and clear, just as an android Samsung phone.

Great little device for web browsing, social media, games and email. Feels well built and I have had no problems with speed or reliability. The only issue is the limited storage space made even less by the large amount of pre-installed apps (which you can't delete). The saving grace is that you can use an SD to make up for the lack of internal storage. Otherwise, a fantastic device for cheap.

I bought this because the battery on my old Tab 4 was shot, and I wanted to get a replacement that was just like the old one. There was no learning curve. I decided to buy another Samsung because I appreciate the physical buttons on the case. I did notice that gameplay seemed to be slightly faster on this new one. The other noticeable difference is on the new one, the USB port is on top instead of the bottom. The reason it didn't get a 5 is because there were too few improvements between generation and it felt like I was re-buying my old one for a higher price.

I purchased the tablet on Black Friday because I wanted a smaller one that is easier to commute with. This certainly fits the bill. With being able to expand the memory as with my other Samsung tablet it is great. I have a 64g card in it and that will be more than enough space. The battery life is great and it is easy to use and the screen quality is amazing. For under $90 for a tablet this was an excellent choice. I am very pleased with my purchase and you will be too.

Not being tablet saavy, and older in age, I needed a tablet to operate my new Hue lightstrips for my kitchen. I am extremely happy that I purchased this one. The screen is a good size, colorful, and easy to read. Holding this tablet is not uncomfortable even with my small achey hands. As for the functions and operating them , they are done with ease especially with the screen tap option and camera use. I have NOT ONE complaint about this tablet.
