Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite's screen size, ease of use, battery life, and price. Many also appreciate its ample storage, lightweight design, and sufficient memory. While some users noted performance limitations when multitasking, and the camera quality could be improved, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns. Overall, the tablet is considered a good value for its price point.

This is a good tablet and the current sale price makes it a great purchase. It has a nice, minimalistic design. At only .81 lbs it is quite light which makes carrying/holding it easy. The screen has 1340x800 resolution and looks pretty good. The 4GB RAM and Octacore chip makes the tablet quite responsive when few apps are running simultaneously. Obviously, it is not a power tablet, so u will notice sluggishness if there are too many apps competing for RAM and CPU. The battery life is good. I am able to get ~10 hours of use before a recharge. It has a 2 MP front and 8 MP rear camera. Both the cameras are decent for video calls but don't expect exceptional results when taking pictures. This one came bundled with Samsung One UI 4.1 (Android 12). As I have been using Samsung products for a long time, I feel at home with this one. Overall, it is a good tablet and with the current discounts it is an excellent buy.

The Samsung A7 Lite is a very good tablet for the price point however it has some annoying flaws. I purchased mainly to read via Kindle app, play a few games, web browsing and shopping. This tablet doesn't do really any of that well. I Purchased to replace a Samsung Tab A 8inch that is several years old Also have a Samsung TabA 9.7inch Picture left TabA 8in 16g 2018 Center Tab A7 lite 64g 2021 Right TabA 9.7in 16g 2017 All in otterbox defender case so they do look a bit bigger than they really are. Cons 1. Amazon shopping app is not available in google play or Samsung store you must shop Amazon in a web browser. Google just says app is not compatible with your device? No idea why. I was able to get Amazon for tablets from Google play store to install but the app is no very good. The Kindle, Audible, Prime video, and Amazon music apps all work fine. 2. There is no adjustment for screen sensitivity for a screen protector. I'm using an otterbox defender case. This is very annoying! 3. Screen doesn't darken enough even with blue light filter to be comfortable for reading in the dark. I may return it due to this as my #1 use for a tablet is reading in bed. 4. The screen sucks. I mean I read the specs before I ordered it. But its way worse than imagined it would be. It is fine for most things in low resolution like reading or web browsing. However when viewing pictures they are really grainy and you can't zoom in, it just gets blurry. UHD video in a no go SD almost HD quality. 5. The camera is fine for video calling but not good enough for taking pictures or videos of say a child's birthday or something. I just used my phone camera it's way better even though it is really old. 6. Games are okay. With Quick loading and smooth operation until you apply a screen protector then the sensitivity is gone. It is fine for some games like Simpsons trapped out but not anything that requires timing or precision. With a screen protector its like flappy bird level frustrating trying to play anything like that. Even basic apps like tapping to turn pages in Kindle are annoying. Pros 1. Storage in a small tablet is what I wanted. Be sure to get the 64GB not the 32GB. 12GB are just the operating system. Just like every other Samsung you Can Not store apps on the SD card only the photos videos and documents, I believe. The memory is expandable with a SD card slot on left hand side near the top. Since the screen display and camera suck I won't be using an SD card for photo storage anyway. 2. Size it is a little bit more narrow than I'm used to. It took a bit of adjustment but the screen is big enough to do everything. About the size of a book. Being narrow as it is I can securely carry with one hand with fingers on both sides.  It Fits in my purse or large coat pockets. The A7 lite is actually really light so there is no strain holding for long periods to read. 3. Headphone jack because my Bluetooth is always dead Pros vs older Tab A 8inch Blue light filter no need for another app. Pop out side panel to access apps just like phone. Ring app or need to add something to shopping list just a quick slide swipe and they are right there no hunting for the apps. Mainly this tablet is just okay. The battery is fine and I like the size. But without screen sensitivity adjustment it becomes annoying and difficult to use once in a case with screen protector. The display lighting controls are difficult to use with no quick adjustment slider bar. The display doesn't get dim enough to read in the dark comfortably. As Amazon shopping, on the go and night reading in bed, are my main uses for this tablet. I may return, I'm not sure yet. If you want a small tablet and don't need a screen protector or read in the dark the A7 lite is great. I choose the A7 over Tab A 8inch 64g because there is not an otterbox or any rugged case for the new 8in model. I was not paid for my review I purchased from best buy Oct 2021 on sale for $129.99. I simply did alot of back and forth looking for a good but small (not apple) tablet under $300. I wanted 64GB+ in storage 3GB+ on memory and a solid case with screen protection available. I normally use otterbox or urban armor gear cases to protect my samsung devices. Overall I'm pretty disappointed in the A7 light it looks great on the specs is a nice size but has so many flaws.

This tablet has been one of my prized possessions since owning it. It’s screen size is adequate, the sound quality is really good and the functionality is what you would expect from an android device. I was surprised how this tablet was able to play mobile games like Call of Duty mobile. Can connect wireless devices like a ps4 controller with ease. My 4 year old son loves it more that I do. Light and thin so it’s easy to travel with. The camera stinks but who uses a tablet camera anyway? I’m glad I got the 64gb version. Would recommend this item and I highly suggest buying a screen protector and case with it.

Yet another Samsung tablet purchase, and yet another reliable and good quality tablet. I have never had any problems with any of these. The brightness and color are great. Crystal clear displays. (Any lack of clarity in the photos attached here is just my movement, etc., not the tablet) The headset jack is appreciated (rather than charging Bluetooth headsets). The size to hold and opposite thumbs type on is just small enough. It has great memory options- both internal and card. It is immediately responsive. Wi-Fi MD Bluetooth work fine. Cameras are fine on it. Sturdy-has even fallen and didn't break. I am totally happy with this purchase...and you won't regret purchasing it.

Even though I have had this tablet less than a day, I can say with certainty, I am beyond thrilled with my purchase. Years ago, I owned my first Samsung Galaxy tablet. Then in 2012, I purchased my first iPhone. Soon after, updates for my Samsung Galaxy tablet stopped. Since I used my iPhone for most everything, I switched to using Kindle because it was cheap and only used my tablet to read Ebooks. Earlier this year I upgraded to the IPhone 13 mini. Although I enjoy having a smaller phone, I miss the larger screen size for photo editing, browsing and reading emails. This past week, frustrated with the sluggishness of Kindle and limitations of the Kindle App Store, I started looking at Android’s. I noticed this particular one was on sale. I spent the better part of a day watching videos reviewing various Samsung and Lenovo tablets that were under 200.00. This particular one regularly 199.00 was on sale for 129.00. Though the weakness of this particular tablet is the camera, the other features of this Samsung Galaxy A7 8.7 screen size could not be matched with other similarly priced tablets. The screen is responsive. The 8.7 inch screen size is a perfect size. I have had several apps open without any noticeable decrease in speed, set up was super simple. The 64GB gives me enough room to download apps without needing to have an SD card immediately (I will get one soon though) I plan on purchasing a keyboard case and a stylus to use with this in the near future. For 129.00, I have zero complaints about this nifty Samsung Galaxy.

I can't believe that I bought this Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite for $100. My laptop had died and Best Buy had this tablet on sale on their weekly deals. I checked it out and decided to make the purchase. Since I have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone I was able to link them together. This allows me to make/pick up phone calls and texts. It's so convenient. With the 8.7" screen It's perfect for video chatting with my Grand kids! I love the performance and speed! I play games, watch Netflix, take pictures and read books on my Galaxy Tab A7. It's perfect for everyday use.

The Tab A7 Lite is a good choice for an ereader. Its size and proportions are close to those of a paperback novel. One can hold it in one hand and read comfortably for lengthy periods of time. It is priced close to or lower than many e-ink readers, yet provides far more utility than they are capable of. It is far more responsive and powerful than an e-ink reader of comparable cost. The attached photos show it compared to a paperback novel, when mounted in a protective folio cover from Ztotop. If you are looking for a candidate as an ereader, this is a good choice.

Really nice and compact i have a hand magnet on the back to hold it and it works great! has plenty enough memory and nice picture, BUT>>> the famous word,,,lol the only downside i can see is that it will not hold a fair amount of apps before the memory slows the drive down but all in all a good bargain.

Good small tablet for the price. Works well for basic things. Tends to lag sometime, but i expected it. Battery for some reason drains more than my Samsung phone (in standby mode). I've turned off all apps to run on the background.

If you're an Android user who wants something with a Premium feel and look that resembles the more expensive Apple iPad, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 fills that void in the form of the looks and it's overall style, but when it comes to the usability and flawless performance of Apple's signature tablet line, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 falls short in so many ways. The difference between Android and Apple are like night and day. You could probably find an iPad which is a few years out of date that offers far better performance than this tablet can give you. Coming from using different configurations of iPad models over the years, I can surely attest that fact. Even the basic iPad runs circles around this model without even trying. Using this tablet for a few weeks, I can easily see the difference between Android and Apple. This tablet not only starts up slow when you turn it on for the day, but it continues to stumble along throughout the entire time you get to use it. It does work, but performance is very subpar at best. I can usually get everything done, but I tend to lose a lot of time doing so. I could easily get things done not only faster, but also more efficiently than I can with the Samsung Tab A7 lite. The name "lite" speaks volumes here. you will notice it mostly in the performance of the device as you try to use it throughout your day. It gets the job done, but stumbles to finish the most basic of tasks without slowing down to some extent. I believe the main reason here is just because it's an Android tablet, and not made by Apple. Android is a more universal operating system, built to run on many different configurations. Apple, on the other hand builds their hardware specifically for their software. While Android can run on the most low end device, You can see this when looking for an Android device, and see that even the most bare bones hardware runs some form of Android. But since this is only about a $200 device, you have to make some compromises. If you can overlook these faults, and ignore the bottlenecks that this tablet gives you, you should be fine. Just don't be surprised when your friend with their iPad gets done far quicker than you can. The only positive thing this tablet has going for it, other than it's premium looks is the fact that it still has a headphone jack on it. Something most of the newer devices from Apple have removed a long time ago.

Love this small screen, for personal use and to transport everywhere. Android 11 and 4gig ram are fine. Add SD card to double storage. I got a thick cover with a handle, so it's fun! For my side jobs, using Excel the screen is too small. Hate to do it, going to return and get 10.4" S6. Has Android 12.
