I have had a few samsung tablets from the or tab 7+ , few of the tab series, note 8 lte, and tab pro lte. The tab s is fast and lag free. The screen is gorgeous. I love the fact that I get Verizon's 4G LTE with the power of a Snapdragon 800 processor. This is the smoothest tablet I have had so far.

This is a tablet that knows exactly what it is meant to be, a pure media consumption device. The screen is absolutely gorgeous with it's SuperAMOLED display. What sets this apart however is that it is an LTE variant that works on Verizon's network. Verizon never officially supported the 8.4 model but Samsung had one made anyways and it apparently also works on GSM carriers to boot! To me the 8.4in screen size was perfect for a portable entertainment device. Small enough to still be feasible with one hand, but large enough to watch movies, youtube, and read comics on.

This is the best display of all the gadgets in the house! So sharp and clear it knocks your eyes out! Samsung rolled out the update for this tablet it is now operating with lollipop 5.0.2, update is easy! Just the right size for in my easy chair or on the go away from home. We added it to our Verizon plan and it works great!

This samsung tablet can be good if it has a good battery life. The screen is awesome but touch wiz taking a lot of ram. Still not a bad device to have. IPAD still have advantage over this with good battery life and more APPS selection

The screen is the best display. The processor is very fast. Almost perfect. They should make a Note with Stylus version for this!

I enjoy this tablet very much. I have 5 differerent tablets but once I bought my galaxy tab S and and started using it, I left my other tablets at home collecting dust and I don't miss them. The Galaxy tab S can be slow sometimes when too many apps are running in the background but it's not a killer issue.

This tablet will meet the needs of any power hungry user. Has one of the easiest to read screens of any tablet. Battery life is ok.

Bought this tablet to replace a 12" tab and wasn't sure I would like the smaller size but I have say it is great I find I use it more then my lap top and battery life is very good

3D graphic is far superior than other Galaxy Tab S variant, because this is the only one with Snapdragon chip instead of Exynos. If you play Marvel Contest of Champion or other 3D games, this is the one for you.

Very nice screen, but I kept hitting the soft buttons and accidentally touching the screen on the sides. I returned this and purchased the Galaxy S 10.5 for the same price.

This is my first tablet. There are many great things about the Samsung - Galaxy Tab S - 8.4" - 16GB - Wi-Fi + 4G This 8.4" tablet is the perfect size. It is also thin and light, which is a plus. It is easy to carry or put it into my purse. The graphics and color are very vivid, one of the main reasons I bought it. I love that I can connect to the internet where ever I'm at! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet.

bought this for my elderly mother and she loves it! She uses it mostly for email and accessing the internet. screen is big enough for her to see and tablet is light enough for her to carry around in her tote bag.

I needed a 4G tablet to use on the train, and this one works great.
