I originally had the Tab S2 SM-T810 64GB version, which, when I showed it to my wife, she really liked -- much better than her Apple iPad Air. In fact she liked my Tab S2 so much, she ask me to buy her one. When the SM-T813 64GB versions came out - pre-loaded with Android 6.01 Marshmallow, I bought two (one for me, one for my wife) and sold the T810.
Is the 64GB version worth the price differential over the 32GB version? In my opinion, definitely yes. You are never likely to run out of internal memory. And the term "bloatware" becomes meaningless to you. Performance otherwise for the 64GB version is identical to the 32GB versions, and the reader should read the reviews on the 32GB version. I won't repeat all that here.
This rest of this review is for those contemplating upgrading from the old T710 or T810 to the new T713 or T813 versions.
I compared the old Tab S2 (SM-T810) to the new Tab S2 (SM-T813). I had both the old an new versions with me, both with 64GB of internal storage, and I am compared them side by side. This comparison is also applicable for the T710 and T713 versions, and for the 32GB versions,
DIFFERENCES
External appearance -- no difference between the old T810 and the new T-813 in physical dimensions, weight, appearance, or function. All cases that fit the T810 will fit the T813.
OS difference -- All versions of the Tab S2 now run on Marshmallow. The SM-T810 and T710 come with Lollipop, but will auto-update to Marshmallow (6.01). The T813 and T713 run Marshmallow (6.01) out of the box.
Internal processor - old T810 runs on Exynos chip set, while the new T813 runs on Snapdragon chip set.
Pre-installed Apps: Music player deleted (can be re-installed from Galaxy Store). Video lost 4K capability.:
Anturu Scores: The old T810 puts out an Antutu score of 65,273, while the new T813 puts out an Antutu scor of 81,232 (That is one huge gain in performance of the new over the old -- a 25% increase.)
Everything else on the spec sheets looks to be identical.
Is that performance gain worth trading in the old for the new? -- maybe, depending on the price differential -- I figure its worth a minimum of $100 price differential. If you can get the new version for that or less, then you have a bargain you should probably jump on -- assuming you have someone worthy of passing the old machine on to (my wife in my case), or you can sell it for close to what you paid for it, less reasonable usage and any wear and tear you inflicted on it.
In my opinion, the performance increase is the real, and only legitimate reason to upgrade. And that is really only important for those who engage in 3D gaming. If you just play board games, there is really little reason to upgrade. Office apps are generally no going to noticeably run faster -- because they already run faster than you can discern. The question came up s to whether the SM-T810 would have a better Antutu score with Marshmallow. Unfortunately, I could not determine that, as I sold the SM-T810 prior to the upgrade to Marshmallow.
USER INTERFACE
There is some visual differences from the native schemes between Lollipop and Marshmallow, which show up in Samsung's TouchWiz Interface. However, I run Nova Launcher on both machines, so for me there is very little visual difference between Lollipop and Marshmallow..
SETTINGS
The settings are almost all the same in old or new version. However, the location of the settings has been slightly revised – but not so much as you won’t be able to find them close by.
USER MANUAL
The T-813 has a different User Manual than the T810. I put the two manuals side by side and did a page by page comparison. For the most part they both have the same information, just rearranged slightly different.
NATIVE APPS
Music Player. The new T813 does not have a native music player. Not to worry, just go to the Galaxy App store and down load one, or go to the Play Store and download your favorite music player.
Compass. Neither the old or new Tab S2s have a compass app, but they both have a magnometer. So download your favorite compass app.
Screensaver / Daydream. The T810 called it Daydream, the T813 calls it Screensaver – exact same function under SETTINGS >> DISPLAY
Fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor is much improved – more sensitive and faster on the new T813, over the T810.
VIDEO
To test the video question of whether the new T813 played video slower or faster than the old T810, I ran several 4k videos simultaneously, side by side. The 4k videos were taken by my cell phone, and the files were approximately 10Mbytes for a 1 minute video – so quite a lot of front-end processing would be required. In just about every case the new T813 would start up faster, for about a 2-seond lead. But once started, they both ran at the same frame rate per second. So, it appears to me, according to my tests, the new T813 starts video faster in the real world.
BATTERY
To test whether the battery on the T813 drained faster than on the T810, I set the screen brightness to 100% on both machines, set the screen timeout to max (10 minutes), loaded the same video in both machines, and then charged both batteries to 100%. Every 10 minutes I noted the Battery level. At first I had both sound levels at 100%, but I noticed the T810 at full volume was louder than the T813, so to keep that factor from muddying the results, I turned both sound volumes to zero. So the results after hours of continuous video playing is:
- - - - - - - - - AFTER 1 HOUR - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - AFTER 5 HOURS
T810 -- 86% charge remaining (14% depletion) - - - - - - - 16% charge remaining (84% depletion)
T813 -- 89% charge remaining (11% depletion) - - - - - - - 32% charge remaining (68% depletion)
So, it does look like the T813 has significantly better battery management than the T810 – at least for this test.
So far, that is all I have found. And for me, it was worth the upgrade based on bragging rights and personal preference (but not necessarily based on logic).

The Samsung S2 9.7 is my first tablet. I've had other Samsung products before, smartphones, TV's etc...The S2 9.7 with 64 gigs and the marshmallow 6.0 operating system had exceeded my expectations. The super amaloid screen produces a very clear and sharp picture. The tablet is very fast and does everything that I need it to do. I got a great deal from Best Buy so I'm very happy with my purchase. I saw the good reviews before I decided to buy this tablet and I agree with the other positive reviewers. I love this tablet and wouldn't buy anything else. If you purchase this tablet you will be pleased. Definitely 5 stars!

This item is exactly as expected. It has no issues at all and performs like a champ. I also purchased a cover to go with it to help protect it and i have no issues with the cover on the tablet. The buttons dont get sticky etc. I love the screen because it is huge and the color quality is amazing. In fact i think its better than my tv. I find it not too heavy to hold either and using it is easy. The sensor for swiping your finger is on point too as well as touching and opening apps on it.

I have had this a couple weeks now and besides being great for fun and entertainment, it's completely replaced my work laptop. There are tons of android business apps. Add a Bluetooth keyboard for next to nothing and your ready to roll.

Love the speed, memory, and graphics. The high dev resolution makes it easy on the eyes. It doesn't freeze up like my older one. The storage capabilities allow for many downloads with no hiccups. And having Word, Excel, and PowerPoint loaded on as factory presets was a nice surprise. I would highly recomend this tablet to all android lovers!

I have own several tablets before and this tablet has out done them all. The picture quality is outstanding the game play and graphics are just phenomenal. I was very impressed with this tablet. It's very thin and light weight the ideal for the hand. The battery life is very sufficient depending on what you are doing. Watching movies on this tablet is just like watching tv on a plasma. My overall experience is excellent.

I am so happy that I bought this tablet as my everyday, go-to tablet! I chose the 64GB internal memory model. This combined with an additional 200GB microSD card, allows me to carry everything that I could possibly need or want for work or play with me. Speed is lightening-fast! Screen is unbelievably sharp with no discernible lag. I love it for movies, etc.

My daughter had an older Galaxy Tab and wanted a new one. We saw the Galaxy Tab S2 online when viewing the Black Friday deals. This tablet has the most bang for the buck. With 64GB at the $319.00 price it was a great buy. Tablet performs fast and is clear and bright. Best Buy had the best price on the Tablet from everywhere else we looked. We ordered on line so we did not have to stand in line at the stores....

I purchased a Tablet for my wife a few years ago and she talked me into getting this one as she really likes hers. This has great battery life, can use all day and still some power available, great screen and easy to load Apps. Only issue I had was with an XL spread sheet I wanted to view, would not load as I had a message I needed Active X. Expandable memory is great but a little hard to get the door open for the SD card. They give you a tool but was not easy for me to open. Speakers are great and except for the two items I mentioned above, this has probably replaced my lap top. Purchased a Key Board but probably could have done without the key board. For me the slim case with no key board was the right way to go. I also noticed that when I added and event to my calendar it also updated on my smart phone, nice feature. This tablet is really nice, with extended battery life, great picture quality, speakers and expandable memory.

This tablet is fast and efficient, the 64G memory is an advantage.
My 12.2 Samsung expired shortly after its warranty. I tried an Acer, but it was so slow I gave it to my daughter and bought this one. The screen is so much richer, and the speed is night and day faster.
I miss the 12 inch size, but did not see one available. This is an awesome tablet, I hope it lasts longer than my previous Samsung tablets.
However there are two serious flaws in the Design! These are the reason I gave it 4 stars:
The speakers are very weak, definitely need a blue tooth device to listen to anything decent.
But that is not the worst part. The major complaint I have, and had it seen it before buying I might not have purchased it is, the speakers AND the headset jack are on the BOTTOM of the device!!!
So when you hold it in your lap the speakers are muzzled by your body, and the headset jack jabs You!
This is OK when you turn it horizontal, but many apps, like this Best Buy app force it to the vertical direction with bottom of the device against your body.

I've owned many Samsung tablets/products. I ONLY purchase them when I want to upgrade. They are very reliable. This tablet in my opinion is an awesome purchase. It does not weigh much. Easy to handle. Very user friendly. The display is fantastic. It's (display) bright and definitely HD. It starts up fast upon turning it on. Also its initial set up was very simple. I got this on sale and it was definitely worth it. I think the screen size is perfect too. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

I purchased this tablet to replace another tablet that was on the fritz. My favorite thing about it is that it weighs about the same as my phone. It was easy to set up, as I'm familiar with Samsung products. I haven't had it crash or freeze up like my last one and it's very responsive and pretty quick. It has ample storage (64gb internal + 128gb external), which my last one didn't have. I purchased the Samsung keyboard case to go with it, which is well worth the money, but the keyboard does make it a little bulky. My only complaint is that with the keyboard, it is in landscape mode, and several of my apps only function in portrait mode. Fortunately, the magnetic keyboard, easily detaches from the case. This tablet is loaded with business oriented apps which makes it so I rarely have to use my desktop computer. Overall, I love this tablet and would highly recommend it.

I got this for my wife and this is her third tablet. Her first one was dual core and was very slow. She got a second one, quad core but only has 8 gb. She has to uninstall some apps as there is not enough space. She saw this online and wanted it as this has 64 gb and Octa core processor. She loves this very much. Screen is so bright and clear. This takes very nice photos as it has 8 MP camera at the back. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality tablet. It also has micro SD card slot if you want to add memory.

Pros: Large screen, hi-res screen, responsive processor. Light weight and Very thin
Cons: Expected better battery life for a relatively new device, but not so. Surprised that there was no NFC capability (should haved looked instead of assumed). Also, I was surprised that the Android OS doesnt support themes.
WHY do they seem to try SO hard to nake theses so light weight. I never hear anybody say "boy i hate lugging my tablet around. I wish it weighed a few ounces less", but I often see people digging for their charging cable. Why couldn't they have made the battery 50% bigger, so i could make it through a whole day.
