I love it! The SPen works flawlessly with this tablet. I love drawing on it. The accuracy is great and it feels just about as good as drawing with pen and paper. The only problem I have is that the Spen just sticks onto it magnetically. It sticks fairly securely but I'm always afraid I'm going to knock it off. I bought a case for the tablet though and that helps secure the pen Somewhat. It sticks to a place inside the folding case. Only thing is the pen doesn't charge when it's in that slot... I rarely need to charge it though. Otherwise, I love it!!! Attached is a drawing I did on it. The only flaws in the drawing is that I'm an amateur.

2/27/2021 I very rarely rate anything with 5 stars. Basically I reserve such a rating for something that's near perfect. The Samsung Tab S7 falls in that range. I am extremely pleased. I went with the 8 Gb RAM and 256 Gb storage primarily for the additional RAM (though having 2x more storage is very nice). I did this because I have the Samsung S10+ phone, which has 8 Gb RAM and now, 2 years later, it is running just as fast as the day I got it and I am a power user, with tons of apps on the phone. So, I figured a similar pairing of a super fast CPU, with 8 Gb RAM would be good for the long haul on this device (the 128 Gbps Tab S7 has 6 Gb of RAM). I am coming from a Apple iPad 8th generation... which in many ways was good... but extremely frustrating, given the silly locked up ecosphere of Apple and how ridiculously backward they are with file transfers. And a Lightning port... really? USB 3 is superior in every way. Then I got upset at Apple for their recent censorship of political speech. This is America, for goodness sake. We have different viewpoints and we disagree. Fine. Apple, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Amazon stop censoring us! I've been looking at the Tab S7 for some time. Finally I sprung for it. WOW... this is one of the best pieces of technology I have ever used. And I have been using tech since the 1970's. Performance: This tablet is far superior to any tablet Apple puts out. It is incredibly fast and with the 120 Mhz refresh rate it is "buttery smooth" as they say. Display: While I was initially disappointed that it wasn't OLED (come on, Samsung, what's up with that?), nontheless, the LCD screen is superior, with excellent contrast. Many times I think I'm looking at an OLED screen. I can tell that it's LCD in low light video scenes, but it certainly is not bad. Note that the Tab S7+ does have OLED, but I didn't want a screen that big. I much prefer the aspect ratio of the Tab S7 and S7+ to Apple's iPads. To me, it's an excellent balance between enjoying media and getting work done (I do a lot of writing and multitasking with it). The Apple iPad Pro's aspect ratio looks ridiculous to me: it's like looking at a clunky old fashioned 4x3 TV. Part of the reason why I went with the Tab S7, along with the Samsung keyboard, is for meetings. I wanted something more subtle and compact for note taking, compared to hauling out a laptop. Audio: Oh, WOW!, it is incredible: 4 speakers, incredible audio quality with Dolby Atmos things like videos and movies, together with the outstanding display, are incredible. Plus, having 4 speakers, no matter which orientation you are using, landscape or portrait, you always get stereo sound. Not so with the iPad with two speakers that have a silly placing at the bottom, which means if you watch multimedia in landscape mode, you have sound only on one side (that's not even mono!). Battery life: is very good, lasting all day. Having fast charge capbility means I can get it fully recharged in about 1-1/2 hours. That blows the Apple iPad out of the water, which needs 2x as long. So, even if you need to boost the battery by 30-40%, plugging it in even for just 15-20 minutes will cover you. Camera: both camera's, front and back, are of a very good quality. Far superior to the iPad. While the cameras may not have all the functionality of my S10+ (which is not necessary on a tablet), Samsung did not go cheap on these cameras. They are very good quality and get the job done well. One thing I rely on is taking scans with the rear-facing camera. That works great, then you can grab the S-Pen for quick markups of your image. Plus the front facing camera is placed in the middle top of landscape mode, so when you are video conferencing it looks like you are looking right at the people you are in conference with, instead your eyes off to the side with the iPad. S-Pen: I haven't used a pen much before. But this one is very good. It is touch sensitive, so I imagine that it would work well with artists, similar to the Apple pen. I think it is fantastic that Samsung *includes* the S-Pen with the tablet. I love how Samsung does things like that, while Apple is miserly toward their customers. Plus, if you get the Samsung Keyboard, there is a neat out of the way storage solution for the pen that looks great. You never have to plug it in somewhere to charge it. Just magnetically snap it on the back and it charges from the tablet. Keyboard: I highly recommend getting the Samsung keyboard. It offers a sharp looking slim profile and good functionality. It is a smaller keyboard than a laptop keyboard, but it doesn't take long to get used to it. The protection for the screen and back are more than adequate. However, there isn't a lot of side and corner protection, since they are exposed. You don't need to plug the keyboard in to charge or replace batteries, as it gets its charge being attached to the tablet. This is similar to what Apple does with its iPads and keyboards. For added protection when I'm out and about with the tablet, I've purchased the Insignia™ - Universal Sleeve for Most Tablets Up to 10" at BestBuy and it fits the tablet and keyboard like a glove, adding extra padding. Software: I get super frustrated with the silly hyper-closed world of Apple. Android -- particularly Samsung -- goes to great pains to work well with the outside world and a wide range of devices. Having Samsung DeX (PC-like desktop) on the device as a built-in screen mode is awesome. I've been using DeX since the Samsung S8+, so I'm familiar with it. Being able to switch to it on a tablet makes the tablet function much more like a laptop. This functionality alone makes the Tab S7 and S7+ far superior to any Apple tablet. And I can activate it with one keypress on the Samsung keyboard. As far as the complaint that not all Android apps play well with a tablet, that's true to a degree. For the most part, I've hardly had any problem with this this. A problem that may come up is some apps not wanting to go into landscape mode. But I used a 3rd party app, to force them to go landscape and it's fine. It's less of a problem in DeX mode. I think with Samsung aggressively going after Apple in the tablet market, we should see other manufacturers getting into the tablet game more and non-comliant apps being pressured to update to work in landscape mode. My only complaint is that I WISH this Tab S7 would work better with my Samsung phone. I can't get text messages from my Samsung phone on my Samsung tablet! And yet I can get text messages from Samsung phone on my Windows 10 laptop. I can also get text messages on my Samsung watch from my Samusng phone. But I *can't* get text messages from my Samsung S10+ on my Samsung Tab S7? Really, Samsung???? Samsung uses the excuse it's a "Verizon limitation". C'mon Samsung, man up! You are a big player in the industry... DEMAND that Verizon stop blocking such vital functionality! The one area that Apple is superior is to Samsung is their tight integrations between all their products. I thought Samsung was competing with Apple! This is one area where Samsung is deficient in their tablets. I am so glad I purchased the Tab S7. Samsung has done an outstanding job. I know I will enjoy the power, performance and versatility of this tablet for years to come. I highly recommend it!

The Tab S7 is a fantastic 11 inch tablet that can come clost to replacing a laptop thanks to robust specs and Samsung Dex. The LCD screen is excellent and while not as contrast-y as AMOLED like its big brother the Tab S7+ it is very very close and no worries about potential burn in. 120hz refresh makes everything look fast and smooth and twith 8GB of Ram and 256gb of storage the Tab S7 can be a real workhorse. The INCLUDED SPen offer the best pen experience available and Samsung has added many features into its OS making the pen even more useful. Speakers are fantastic - rich sounding and quite loud. Performance is strong. Adding a keyboard and mouse and external monitor plus Samsung Dex enables the Tab S7 to do ehat no iPad can - drive an externsl dispaly with real multitasking. Samsungs committment to OS uodates should extend the useful life and this tablet will not dissapoint.

This has the perfect sized, bright screen. When I compared the brightness, it was brighter than even OLED s7+ one. Because it's LCD, it lasts longer than s7+ which has even bigger battery. Even though it's slightly thicker than s7+, I chose this because it's much more sturdy and when I held it, I could hold it in one hand and use the other with pen. (s7+ was little too heavy with one hand) I chose 256gb as the OS and essential apps gonna take like 30gb. It's super fast and when I play COD on it, there is no lag at all. I already scored to be placed in top 3 on some of beginning multi-player stages. The sound is awesome coming from 4 spots on both side of the screen. S pen is also pretty awesome with super good latency. So much better compared to s6 Lite. I basically feel like I'm really writing in a pen in a whiteboard. S pen works whether it's charged or not (that's what's so great about it compared to Apple Pencil) But S pen battery doesn't last long. I kinda don't mind s pen battery much yet, as I haven't learned all the s pen skills yet, but oh well. One tip is to put the s pen upside down, and it won't suck up your tab battery as s pen won't charge when it's up side down.

It was a good tab while I had it (traded up to Tab S9 with deal). Held its battery life, very good display, pen worked great. Camera's were meh. Some odd Samsung quirks here and there. My biggest problems were more on the accessories. The Samsung Keyboard case is way overpriced. And after getting my S9 I found the changed the layout and the magnets so I couldn't reuse the keyboard. Just for that reason I wont be buying another Samsung product. They spent a lot of time making fun of Apple to become them. Over all the tablet was a solid buy, but I can't recommend Samsung for shady business practices.

I must admit that I absolutely love this tablet. I had a few Android tablets in the past, and they served their purpose, but they were never really fast or smooth. This is different. It is quite responsive. The Spen works perfectly. I wasn't sure if I needed another tablet, having recently purchased a 13.3" 2-in-one with Wacom support. However, I truly prefer notetaking and sketching on the Tab s7. One of the handiest things I do daily is signing PDF files. No more printing, signing, scanning, then emailing. I also underestimated how much I would enjoy consuming media on this device. Paired with Buds +, it is an excellent form of entertainment; both at home and on the go.

The tablet has solid construction--the weight is a bit heftier than I had imagined but manageable. The display is very good and the speed at which it boots up is very good. The sound quality from the built-in speaker is good--even better when using earbuds. I have always found Samsung's additions to Android a bit peculiar--meaning some of the Samsung apps. It is still early since I purchased and have relied on the common steps/processes that get me the use of the tablet I need. Like the fact that the microSD card slot allows for a very large storage card (max = 1 TB). I selected a 400GB SD card that seemed more than sufficient since the internal memory is 256 GB. Still getting used to the specifics of functionality of the tablet but admit that I have not really studied the user manual/guide. The accompanying pen seems to be quite effective--my use of it at this early point has been somewhat limited. Opted to purchase a separate cover and Bluetooth keyboard I found on the Internet. The keyboard connected quite nicely. The offer from Samsung was OVER priced. Paired my earbuds with the tablet and the pairing was a breeze. Looking forward to this tablet being my go-to item for the next few years given the higher cost of the tablet. Far too often Samsung products are priced too highly for my likes. The purchase of the tablet, the microSD card, the cover/case with a keyboard certainly makes this combination less expensive than some of the other similar devices such as the Microsoft Surface. Perhaps not similar in processing power but if your needs are not great, you will save $$$$.

I upgraded from an Ipad Mini to the Samsung Tab S7 -- and I will never look back! While the tablet is a lot bigger than an Ipad Mini, which took me awhile to get used to, the audio, screen and basically everything about this tablet is just phenomenal. I really wanted extra storage so it would last longer, and I've barely made a dent in those 250 GBs. Also, the S Pen is the best! There's a function where you can turn your keyboard into a writing pad, so it will input your own writing with the S Pen into text, which has become my favorite way of typing. I love that the pen comes standard, too! I love this tablet so much that I'll be getting a Samsung phone, too.

This is an excellent tablet! Did much research and decided on this one - great decision! More than enough memory at 256 plus the storage card. Extremely easy to set up - pretty self explanatory. I have an Android phone, so it made more sense for me to get an Android tablet rather than an iPad. The Galaxy Tab S7 seemed like the best Android tablet on the tablet, and after using it for 10 days, I can safely attest to that. The hardware is excellent. Get the 256GB or 512GB variant (the 128GB has only 6GB RAM for some reason). The build quality is sturdy and refined. The OS itself is very good, and I can answer calls and texts on it because I have a Galaxy phone as well. The app selection however, is limited by the lack of tablet-optimized Android apps on the Play Store. It's quite disappointing how Google has neglected the tablet space. Apple is way better in this area. Pros: Great internal hardware Beautiful, large screen with small bezels Very good build quality S Pen included (no way Apple would do that!) Cons: Selection of tablet-optimized Android apps leaves much to be desired. Not certified water and dust resistant. Overall I'm glad I purchased this device, as it gives me the Android experience in a tablet form factor. If you have an Android phone, this is your best bet.

I'm an Android guy but have always had iPads since they first came out. I've tried some previous Samsung tablets but I always thought the iPads had a better experience hardware wise. Current iPad is about 3 years old, not traveling as much as I used to but have been wanting to upgrade. Decided to give this new S7 a try and I absolutely love it, the screen is excellent and it performs very well. The hardware is stellar, sleek and well made. I use Nova launcher, have for years and it's nice to have my tablet and phone having the same screens and same apps. It's a great tablet, if you're thinking about trying something besides an iPad, give this one a try.
