This keyboard doesn't work on your lap

This case doesn't work on your lap. It only works on a table. The problem is that the keyboard hinges with the bottom of the screen and the piece that sticks to the back of the tablet has a panel that flexes outward. This make the keyboard completely unstable on your lap. Also the touchpad seems to be defective and single clicks often register as double clicks. After wasting money on this expensive and unusable keyboard, I purchased the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Book Cover Keyboard Slim (confusingly similar name), which doesn't have the touchpad. It was much, much better.

Good But Flawed

They are fairly similar with the exception of the S Pen cover. The Book Covers perform very well and does give you the Laptop experience performance wise, but due to the design, it must be used on a flat surface as there is a flap which supports the screen and not a hinge like most Laptops use. I have noticed when using the book cases for the S8 and S9, they both would freeze up and i found myself having to disconnect and reconnect to the tablet to make it work again.

Overpriced keyboard with buggy trackpad

The trackpad is sluggish and click doesn't work properly while using it on the lap as there is significant during this time. There are several flaws with this item and needs to be addressed for this price point.

Only issues I have is the lack of backlight for the keyboard and it does not have full protection. For the price that it comes with you would exspect, you would think that it would had some sort of full protection and a faster responding keyboard.

The tablet is light and has an excellent vivid and bright high resolution display, which makes it a pleasure to work with whilst on the move.

The only downside is I paid a lot of money for a keyboard I won't use. I realize some folks need/use this tablet for work or processing. I wish there was an option to get the great cover without the keyboard that I don't need and wish I didn't have to pay for.
