From the moment I saw the box when I oped the package I knew it was not gonna be good. Let me just say I have purchased MANY open boxed electronics but this is the forst time I have received a disgusting and filthy item. This was lidted in EXCELLENT Condition!!!! It literally looked like someone took it straight off there dirty wrist and placed it in a box. Never will I purchase an opened box item from them again!!!

Works great as an independent "com system" once you set it up via your cell phone. Battery life is a full day if on battery saver, otherwise about 3/4 of the day will require a top off if its in full effect monitoring all your health vitals along with normal routine stuff. I have it set up thru Spectrum, so its a clone to my cell phone. If the cell ophone rings, the watch rings. If I leave the cell phone at home, I can still use the wathc to take/make calls and texts. Comfort wise, its still a little too bulky, not sleek like apple watch, also I am thin wristed and the watch band is too small, i have to use last hole...so I will be buying a longer band.

So the story behind this is interesting. I had a Pixel Watch 2 LTE that refused to connect to my carrier because my unlocked phone wasn't purchased from that carrier. Not cool, I know. So i got this at the ol' double B and since I knew the prior generation had WearOS in it, figured it wouldn't be too much of a difference (beyond what samsung would slap on top of it). Got it hooked up to my carrier and beyond the fact that I have to pretty much charge it at the end of the day (other watches I've had in the last several months have gone as long as 3-4 days between charges - note, this was purchased as a returned item) it has plenty of bells and whistles (heart rate, body mass, EKG, the ease of finding apps thanks to its rotating wheel) that would make it a worthy purchase...if it only could go at least 2 days tho...sigh

Great watch with cool bezel. At the first time, I've noticed that they won't hold even 6 hours on one charge. But I did a full reset, and now they hold about 1-2 days. That's quite normal for a real smart-watch (not just a fitness tracker). So, after you buy it - make all software updates and then reset the watches to factory defaults. Now you are free to setup them and enjoy.

Nearly $450 Watch Lasting Less Than 2 Years

Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Let me start off by saying, I paid nearly $450 for this watch, buying it brand new, and I really wanted it to be good. A very rarely buy a watch when it first comes out, but I thought it looks so good, and the reviews were favorable, so I took a chance. Now that I've had to watch for about a year and a half, it's just stopped working. But even before this, I had small problems that built up over time, for the entire time I've had to watch. I purchased it to track my sleep, and my running. It did well in both of those areas. Everything else was buggy. About 6 months in, I noticed that The texting to and from the watch was only working sometimes. Then when receiving phone calls on the watch, I could hear the other person, but they couldn't hear me. Never was able to fix it, so I just stopped using those features. It was still working for the main things I got to watch for. I will charge my watch just about everyday. If I didn't charge it in the evening before bed, I might not keep a charge through the next morning. I never got that 3-day charge that people spoke about, mine was about a day and a half, or less if I didn't charge it. Still, I thought it looked cool, I liked the digital watch faces, and it will supporting my sleep, and run tracking. I noticed with the run tracking, that it didn't seem to communicate well with any other app except its own. I don't know if that's the thought of the watch, but a lot of the health apps I was trying to use would not connect to my watch. That was a bummer, because as a new runner I was trying to find the right apps to help me with my training. Just about every app though, have the option for an Apple watch, or Garmin. Also, although I'm not sure how these things worked, I found that I did not use a lot of the pre-existing apps in the watch. The only one that I really find myself using consistently was the timer. The rotating bezel, that I thought was so cool when buying the watch, I never even used it once. I think next time around, I'll be buying a watch that doesn't have as many bells and whistles, or things to go wrong. I'll watch that straightforward, and just works all the time and keeps a good charge. A watch that I'm not wearing so much because it looks good, but it just works. This watch is not it. And I was really hoping that a watch that's over $400 will last me for more than a year and a half. Now what it's doing is uncontrollably vibrating, and starting and cutting off its apps, over and over again. I had to just turn the watch all the way off, and basically it's dead now. That for me is the most disappointing part. Over this past week I had to totally give up even wearing the watch, because I couldn't get it under control.

Greetings IamRW, thanks for taking the time to share your sentiments with us about your experience with the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic. We value your opinions and critiques as we strive to provide the best products with superior functionality on the market to our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If your text messages aren't syncing between your Watch6 Classic and your phone, please make sure that both devices are connected via Bluetooth and that your Galaxy Wearable app is correctly configured to allow notifications. Also, check for software updates on both devices and consider restarting both devices afterward. If your callers are having a difficult time hearing you, please check for any mute/silent settings that are enabled. Also verify that microphone permissions have been granted, make sure the microphone is clear of debris, and check to ensure that your watch band is not faulty. On average, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic battery can last up to 40 hours so that you have enough power to do everything that you would like to do in your day. However, this all depends on how you use your watch. When you finally need to power up your Watch6 Classic, you can quickly charge it back up from 0% to 45% in just 30 minutes! There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch6 Classic may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. Sometimes, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Please take a moment to review the article titled, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" when you have the available time out of your schedule to learn more about how you can increase your watch's battery life. Your Watch6 Classic rotating bezel primarily serves as a navigation tool, providing an intuitive and precise way to interact with the watch's interface. You can easily navigate menus, apps, and widgets by rotating the bezel instead of swiping on the touchscreen. It offers a more accurate and less accidental navigation experience, especially when fingers are wet or sweaty. If your device is vibrating continuously, navigate to Settings > Sound and vibration > Vibrate on your watch and disable all vibration options. Keep in mind that any notifications or alerts may also cause vibration, depending on how they were set up. Some watch apps need to be installed on both your watch and phone to function. Because of this, if an app acts funny on your phone, it could act funny on your watch as well. If the app is unstable, the app may not open, frequently crash or freeze, or becomes unresponsive. To fix the problem, try restarting your watch and phone, and check for updates. Uninstall the app if issues persist, but it may be necessary to reset the watch. Feel free to check out, "Samsung smart watch app crashes, freezes, or doesn't respond" to conduct some troubleshooting steps on your device. If you have any questions for us afterward or if you would like any further assistance, please feel free to contact Support. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung

Significant upgrade over my Galaxy Watch5. I did not intend to purchase initially, but after trying it on in the store, I decided to upgrade and very happy with it. It recognized my walking and activities much better than the Watch5. It also recognizes pay devices for google pay much easier. Samsung nailed it with the aestetics bringing back the classic look and the band is stylish and comfortable. The speaker when making phone calls on it is clear. I don't need to bring my phone with me everywhere because I can rely on the watch much more than other models. Highly recommended even as an upgrade. Battery life also improved lasts throughout the entire day.

This is my first Galaxy Watch. I've had several Fitbit brand watches. My only complaint is the battery life. After watching several YouTube reviewers they all mentioned the watch learns your battery uses during the first few weeks. I hope this is true since my window to return the watch has closed. Other than the battery life (which I do find very limiting), the watch and the technology are amazing. I bought the LTE version and I can make and receive phone calls from the watch. The watch is visually appealing and the watch faces can be changed to match the appropriate setting. If the battery life improves I'd give this a 5 out of 5. But I need a watch to last at least 1 full day of minor use. At this point, it is just another charging cord I have to take with me when I travel.

Overall i like the watch but i do wish that there was more battery life in it. So far it lasts about 24 hours with how i use it but its not the three day capacity i was hoping for. Its suprisingly durable, ive wacked and smacked this thing agisnt walls, doors and tbe occasinal concrete surface. And so far it has yet to crack. I do think thats luck and the rotating bezzle since the screen doesnt look very tough, Its fairly comfortable. I do have a problem where i sweat a lot on tbe contact point of the watch and my skin. So be warned if you sweat a lot. I recommend you get the cloth band of possible to avoid feeling too uncomfortable. Finally i bought this thing on sale. And for the price i paid i thinknits good. For the price it ussually goes for, eh, i would wait. Inlike the samsung watch and all but until its done exceptionally well, i wontbpay full price

The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic is an excellent smartwatch that seamlessly blends style, functionality, and technology. It’s especially worth it if you’re deeply integrated into the Samsung ecosystem. While the price and LTE costs are something to consider, the features and design make it a worthwhile investment. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Just make sure the size and price point align with your preferences.

I bought this as an upgrade to my older Galaxy Watch. This Watch6 has everything the old one does and more. Also, it looks great; so much so, it can easily be worn as a "dress up" watch. In preparing to wear it, I wanted to link it to my Galaxy S22 Ultra mobile. No problem, the link was essentially immediate. Compared to my older model, there is a definite learning curve. I've gotten the basic functions down, but I continue to learn other functions. One recently discovered was that I was playing music in my car via Alexa, controls (play, pause, forward, backward) all appeared on the watch screen. Never would have thought of that! Not only does the 6a look great, it functions well in all areas.

Excellent watch! I purchased this at a discount which put it within my price range and have been extremely happy with it. It combines all the features of a Wear OS watch (a huge number of apps) with nice Samsung features like the bezel device to rotate between options. It also offers reasonably good battery life - makes it through one day with no trouble at all and can be stretched to two days with some power management. This has quickly become one of my favorite (and more useful) gadgets.
