I needed a watch. I have a lot of Samsung items and I figured this one would be good. It's not only good, it's great. I can take phone calls, I can check on health status, and everything. It's easy to read, with a big screen.
The only thing I could wish for would be a way to change the dial to something pretty. I've changed out the band to a gorgeous after-market bling, and that band was easy to change. It would be easy to change the screen if there was a link to the website or to an aftermarket site where we could pick up a new face for the watch and install it on the watch.
But, other than that, the watch is fabulous, and it's Samsung so it's great stuff.

Great features and straightforward to use, battery life is impressive and looks good with an updated strap.

I mainly bought the watch for the health and sleep tracking which has been excellent. The larger 44mm was my pick for better battery life and it is a little oversized on my 6" wrist, but not terribly. Switching the band to a silicone magnetic third party one definitely improves the fit. The official band that comes with the watch is too thick and rigid and leaves larger gaps around the wrist.
Battery life has been great. I have the always on display switched on with continuous health monitoring, and it easily lasts me 24 hours with a short charge while I shower. At end of the day when I charge it, I have about 70% battery still. I don't use it to answer calls or messages, I prefer just using my phone.
Very lightweight and comfortable to wear all day even with the larger size. Classic metal watches are definitely more heavy.
It integrated seamlessly with my Samsung phone. Would highly recommend!

A few years ago, I had an Apple Watch. Mine was a Series 3, and it worked well enough for what I needed. The unfortunate thing is that Apple Watches do not work for Android phones and I have been an Android fan since I first got my Galaxy S4. What's a fella to do? There's the Google Pixel Watch, the Garmin, and then there's this.
BATTERY LIFE:
I've been using mine for about a week now, and the battery life is acceptable. It's not quite a good as the Apple Watch, but still absolutely acceptable. One full charge will get you almost 2 days. While this isn't quite as impressive as the Apple Watch having that 3 day battery life, I think it is sufficient. If youre buying this watch for sleep tracking, I would recommend charging it either in the mornings when you are getting ready for the day, or in the evening before you go to bed.
FUNCTIONALITY:
The Galaxy Watch7 is packed with features such as an ECG monitor, Sleep Apnea tracking, and more. You can reply to texts, make phone calls, and even control your music on the watch. Something that I would personally note is that in order to use the ECG and Sleep Apnea functions, you must be 22 Years of age or older. Otherwise, the watch won't let you use those functions (unless if you give it the wrong birthday). Something I have found particularly useful is that there is a Tip calculator you can have as one of the panels. The watch also features a "Water Mode". Once activated, the watch will not respond to taps on the screen. It will still respond to the motion gestures, however, and button presses. This feature is good for swimming or showering. When you deactivate this feature, the watch will play a sound through the speaker to eject all of the water. One of the most useful features of this watch, however is the "Find My Phone" feature. If you're looking for your phone, but cannot find it, you can press the phone button on the watch. This will have your phone start ringing (even if it's on silent)! The coolest part about this feature is that the watch doesn't even have to be connected to your phone in order to do this. It just needs a Wifi connection.
MOTION GESTURES:
The watch has three different motion gestures you can assign to do certain things. It can detect a knocking motion, a double pinch, and a double flick of the wrist. The knocking motion is the programmable one, and I have mine set up to open the flashlight. The double pinch can be used for various things such as pausing and playing your audio on your phone. The double wrist flick is used for dismissing alarms and phone calls. While these motion controls may seem somewhat gimmicky, I have found myself using them naturally.
HEALTH TRACKING:
This watch has multiple different sensors that can monitor your heart rate, body temperature, blood oxygen level and more. When the watch detects that you are being active, it will start an automatic workout, and track your calories and such.
WATCH FUNCTIONALITY:
So all of these features are great, but how does it do just as a watch? Well I would say it handles that task very well. When on the watch face, you can press and hold the screen to change how the face looks. There's hundreds (even thousands) of different faces you can download from the Google Play Store, or the Samsung Shop. But it does come preloaded with about 20 different ones to choose from out of the box. Legacy Samsung Watch users will remember the rotating bezel. This watch definitely tries to emulate this legacy feature by letting you swipe around the screen. I find it to be useful for fast scrolling, but the haptic feedback just can't match the tactile feedback of a physical rotating wheel. Like the Apple Watch, there are tons of different wristbands you can purchase for this watch. If a certain one doesnt quite fit you either literally or just stylistically, there are some for super cheap on Amazon.
CONCLUSION:
The Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is absolutely worth the price tag. I find myself using it more and more everyday. It is certainly a worthwhile competitor to the Apple Watch. If you have a Samsung phone, I would pick this watch up. You can purchase either the LTE version or the GPS version. The difference between these two is that the LTE version can have its own phone plan and connect to LTE networks without needing to connect to your phone. The GPS version needs a connection to your phone in order to access information like text messages, and weather data. My recommendation if you are planning on purchasing this watch is to get the GPS version. There are so many things this watch has to offer that I didnt get to talk about much, and I'm sure that if you choose this watch, you will enjoy discovering these features.

POTS tracking assistance

I got this as a means of tracking my heart rate because I have POTS. So I have it set to track constantly. With the way I have it set up, I typically get about 52 hours of battery time from it, which Im happy with. I took away one star because of the fact that there are times the watch cannot keep up with my heart rate changes, which is when I want it to track the most. It will just blink the last number over and over and not register. Ive found that when that happens, I can go to the ecg app and that will register the true current heart rate. So I can at least see it there. But sometimes, even after that, the heart rate still wont load and will continue loading. Kind of defeats my purposes for purchase. One thing that is really nice for someone with POTS, though, is that it comes with an emergency setting that will call for help if it feels a fall. So if you are someone thats a faint risk, it definitely will help you feel more secure by having it set to call someone you trust when you faint. Or even 911 if youd like. I even have mine set that if i fall, it notices, but wont call automatically. I have to swipe for it to call (i just dont want it calling my husband every time it thinks ive fainted, but it's nice to have a way to call easily for help if i do need. And on my wrist. Dont have to track down my phone).

The **Samsung Galaxy Watch7 Aluminum Smartwatch 44mm BT - Silver** is a total game-changer when it comes to blending style and functionality. The **44mm size** is just right—not too big, not too small—so it feels comfortable on your wrist, whether you're out for a run or just wearing it throughout the day. The **Silver aluminum design** gives it a sleek, modern vibe that pairs well with everything from casual to more polished looks.
The **AMOLED display** is stunning, super crisp and bright even in direct sunlight, so you’ll always have a clear view of your notifications and fitness stats. And speaking of fitness, the **health tracking features** are on point. From heart rate and sleep tracking to stress and blood oxygen levels, it’s like having a mini wellness coach on your wrist. It’s really motivating to see your progress over time, whether you're working out regularly or just trying to stay mindful of your health.
The **Bluetooth connectivity** means you can stay connected without always needing to pull out your phone. You’ll get notifications, calls, and messages right on your wrist—so handy when you're in a meeting or out for a walk. Plus, the **battery life** lasts well through the day, and when it’s time to charge, it’s quick and painless.
If you're already using Samsung products, this watch really ties everything together. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and makes life a little bit simpler and a lot more organized. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is an awesome companion for anyone looking to balance style, tech, and health tracking all in one sleek package.

This is a super, lightweight watch, when paired with the Samsung Health App and Samsung
Health Monitor App. This watch tracks your Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen, Sleep Quality, test for Sleep Apnea and will provide you with an ECG, and much, much more. At a glance it also gives you time, temp/weather, next calendar event, world time, and even sunrise - sunset times. The only negative I have with this watch is that I would like to have a longer battery life, but, then again, for all the things that it can do, 2 days battery isn't too bad.

Best smart watch ever

The Samsung Galaxy Watch series continues to set the standard for Android smartwatches. With its sharp AMOLED display, premium build, and smooth Wear OS integration, it delivers both style and performance. Health features are robust—ranging from ECG and blood pressure monitoring to body composition analysis and advanced sleep tracking. Fitness users will also appreciate the accurate GPS and wide workout support.
Smartwatch functions are equally strong: notifications are seamless, calls can be handled directly from the wrist, and contactless payments are supported. The biggest drawback remains battery life (especially on smaller models), though Pro versions extend this significantly. Compatibility is best with Samsung phones, where all features unlock fully.
In short, the Galaxy Watch is one of the most well-rounded smartwatches available today—ideal for Android users who want a balance of fitness, health, and productivity in a stylish package.

After two weeks of daily use, the Galaxy Watch7 has become my essential tech companion. The 44mm silver aluminum case looks sleek with both casual and professional outfits, while the lightweight design makes it comfortable for 24/7 wear, including sleep tracking.
What I love:
Battery life consistently lasts 2 full days with always-on display disabled
Health tracking is remarkably accurate (compared to my doctor’s blood pressure monitor)
New rotating bezel makes navigation easier than touchscreen-only models
Minor drawbacks:
- Requires Samsung phone for full feature access (limited iOS functionality)
- Wireless charging is slower than competitors
Final verdict:
This is the smartwatch to buy if you want premium build quality without paying for unnecessary extras. The sleep analysis and workout auto-detection alone justify the price for health-conscious users.
Usage context:
I’m a student who switches between day/night shifts – the battery life and health metrics were my key decision factors.

I hac a really hard time getting notifications to my watch. You have to grant permission for everything one by one. Doesn't have as many faces as my S3 Frontier. It's ok. Doesn't have the namd for the extra band on it itbgoes inder the wrist band and thats not comfortable. Hard to change tje notification sound.

THE HEART OF CONFIDENTS

I purchased this smart watch because my son was not feeling well with heart palpitations. He had been seen in the emergency room as well as a cardiologist consultation. The doctors was not able to find anything wrong with him physically, so being able to see what his heart was doing, enabled him to be less anxious and more confident. He has had it for nearly a year now, as it was a Christmas gift. It’s still working very well, and he simply loves it. Thank you.

Upgraded from Watch 6 Classic. Wasn't really expecting a big difference, but this is a great watch. Slightly larger 44mm vs. 43 mm for classic. Display is great, battery life is a good, especially if you use power saving mode. Attractive on the wrist. Looks like a conventional watch vs. many others which appear to be miniature tablets. and rather bulky. OEM band is excellent, I just occasionally wanted something a little dresser.

Samsung has released another galaxy watch! This time with a refreshed battery, a brighter screen, and some new cool health overview features that combine its different sensors and the latest "AI" buzzwords to give you a daily energy score. The cool thing is, it does it all well, and it lasts as long as I need a smart watch to. I turned off always on display and left all the other sensors on default. I still have the watch wake automatically when I look at it, and I have the blood oxygen, heart rate, and skin temp on continuous monitoring overnight as I track my sleep apnea with this watch. With all this said, I consistently get about 28 hours of battery with this guy. I charge it before bed while I'm at my desk, I wear it to sleep, and I can juuuust barely wear it the next night to sleep before it needs charging in the morning. This works well for me, and I don't know why people expect more from a smart watch. The screen is easy to see in daylight, and it's been fast and responsive so far. Overall I'm happy with it, but if you own last years model, it's not going to suprise you. This is an upgrade every 3-4 years kind of item.

Apart from the watch looking much better than the pixel watch it has a much easier UI than the pixel. Flows better and I use it for my health and workouts all the time. The sleep apnea function is great too
