This is a perfect piece for everyone. It’s not only a watch but a statement . The strap stands out from any other watch or wrist band. i am excited and glad that I purchased Samsung Galaxy Watch8 40mm. The watch looks sleek and elegant, making it perfect for everyday wear and even for more formal occasions. I love the fact that i can track my health as well as my fitness level and even monitor my sleep via this watch. It’s a must for every one that’s health conscious. This is paired with my phone which help me to keep track of all my calls, messages and notification without delay Battery life is also reliable and lasts well through the day with regular use. The Bluetooth connectivity works seamlessly with my phone, and notifications come in clearly without delay. I will recommend this watch for wellness and balance life style and luxury living life style.

    Wife needed an upgrade

My wife needed to upgrade her Galaxy Watch 3 badly. She says she loves how big the watch face is, how sleek the whole watch look, and how smooth it runs. There was a delay between her phone and watch when getting notifications or alarms and the Galaxy watch 8 has no delay and lasts her 2 days between charges. She enjoys all the features her old watch didn't have, like having google maps and gemini on her watch and not needing to open her phone for those apps. They talk to text is more accurate and can use google messages on the watch. She bought a screen protector, a protector case, and colorful watch bands.

Big upgrade from my Galaxy Watch 6 40mm

Wasn't sure If like the larger size, but not too noticeable after a few days. I wear the watch all the time, and extra and more fashionable bands are widely available. Larger battery is a big plus. I was getting a little over 2 days of battery life on my 6 with many display and power settings ON. But I've turned some of the display and power settings OFF on my 8, and I'm still getting 2+ days of battery life battery. The new health features are a nice addition too. Sleep tracking seems a little more accurate as well. Good upgrade for me!

The new Galaxy Watch feels effortlessly smart and comfortable — the display is vibrant, the health tracking is genuinely useful, and interactions are smooth. It keeps me on schedule without being distracting, and the battery easily lasts through a busy day.

had an active 2, then a regular 7 40mm which i liked but i lost it :(, then i replaced the 7 with the 8 44mm and LOVE IT, the bigger screen doesnt feel too big on my wrists(it fits great) and the battery life is noticebly better from the 40mm 7! i usually charge it every 4ish days. the ecg/heart/health tracking stuff has helped me a lot and some new ones added are neat that i didnt know were there before like antioxidant levels?! wild! super happy :)

The performance of the watch8 is awesome! Really Smooth, no problems at all! For the battery life The only thing I can say is that I don't charge it for 2 days and a half . I love how you can customize it too! It's really comfortable to use and if you sleep with it you don't even feel it. Its just awesome for me and I really recommend it !

I’ve been using the Galaxy Watch 8 for a few weeks now, and it’s a fantastic upgrade. The first thing I noticed is how comfortable it is and the updated bands make it feel much lighter on the wrist than previous models

    Best smartwatch in 2025!

this is my favorite thing ive bought from best buy yet! This is the first smartwatch that I bought and have used, and I dont think I can go without anymore! Ive been a person who doesn't like wearing watches and always have my phone on me so the idea of a smartwatch felt redundant. Until I bought this samsung watch 8 and now I've been able to sleep better than ever! the health tracking on the watch is a huge change for me. Im not a very active person as I enjoy watching youtube and have become very unaware of my inactive lifestyle. everyday the watch tells me about how long I slept for, my heart rate, and when I should be active after not being active. having an active reminder when to move rather then a timer with a beep, sounds like a small deal but it feels more like a gentle reminder rather than a loud gong in my ears. The ability to measure my bpm on a daily has made me realize how stressed and worried about daily life activity as well. being able to read a number based on my feelings help me understand what im feeling at that particular moment and helps me make a decision during stressful times to better my life. I used to not do a whole lot as I mentioned before, and this would include exercise. I dont usually know what kind of workout I wanna do and how long someone like me specifically should be doing a workout for. Having a centralized app to look to for workouts with specific metric data helps me understand and want to workout more than ever. I now just choose the workout that I want and go by the timer set by my watch tuned to my specific needs This watch also allows you to call people, as someone who feels uncomfortable with pulling my phone out in public, I love that my watch can respond to texts across diffrent apps and can answer calls on it too! It makes taking to others a breeze! I can get a notification on my watch, read it, respond and read the time, all under a 5 sec time limit. I can now do all this while im in a meeting, while someone is busy during a conversation, or while im holding objects as google assistant is integrated with most of the functions on the watch not to mention the amazing customization for the watch faces! you already have a large selection of watch faces to choose from but being able to customize the already chosen watch face is amazing. choose a classc watch face and you'll see that you can change the color, arms, "complications", and many more features that are watch face specific. being able to change the complications are very nice as you can choose between a bunch of options that you can use to monitor diffrent actions like, steps, watch battery, uv index, weather, bpm, etc. all in all, this watch has changed how I think about not just smartwatches, but the use of having a watch brings in general. The new squircle design looks alright i think the looks of the outwards extended circle kinda looks weird but its probably due to the design of tech nowadays I think that anyone that anyone who is considering this watch should 100% pick up this watch, it will improve your general life and your active life drastically.

This watch is innovative and very detailed. I love how I am able to tracks my steps, read my text messages and answer the phone and talk. The 44mm battery life extends well into two days. I'm glad I gave this watch a try and not another fitbit.

    Samsung Galaxy 8

Been on fitbit (not a fan of the price wall on health features), loved the battery life on my garmins but health sensors didnt always track with other tests, but the galaxy 8 seems to be tracking better with everything, battery life is where my only complaint is, if you want overnight metrics for sleep and HR, you are going to need to charge the watch at some point during the day, even after diming the display (helps), the garmins just spoiled me on battery life (i would charge once a week) but the display, touch, and health sensors on the galaxy are excellent. Caveat, just like the other big name watch, the QR charger is dedicated to this watch, so keep in mind, my original dock had a flip up QR for watches, but not Samsung's, so I had to buy a new dock to charge phone and watch while working at desk.

I’m really enjoying the Galaxy Watch 8 so far! The size is perfect—it’s comfortable for all-day wear and doesn't feel bulky. The new AI features are actually useful and intuitive, and the overall performance is snappy with zero lag. It's a great upgrade!

Great upgrade from galaxy watch 4 classic

Upgraded from a galaxy watch 4 classic. While i sometimes miss the rotating dial, the large crisp screen and longer battery life make up for it. Upgraded for the extra sensors for health tracking. Works great for that. After wearing for a few weeks I dont reach for the dial anymore. I like that multiple widgets can be put on pages instead of 1 per page.

Definite improvement over Galaxy Watch 5

I've had 2 other Galaxy Watches and this one is definitely an improvement. The battery is lasts much longer than the Galaxy Watch 5, and apps load much quicker and smoothly. They used to be glitchy when opening and my Arccos Golf app used to disconnect sometimes during a round. Now Arccos stays connected and updates the every club swing and distance. The only complaint I have is they changed the overall shape of the watch. I liked the traditional round shape of the Galaxy 5. The new watch still has a round face, but the overall shape is square with rounded corners. It looks like Samsung is trying to copy the Apple Watch. Big mistake in my opinion. I don't want any of my devices to look like Apple products!

Good watch but there's a catch w free call and tex

So the watch look, feel, battery and everything looks amazing. But the free 2 year data and texting comes with a catch, so you won't be given any additional number to this service, and your primary phone needs to be on and in network at all times to send text and make or receive calls from the watch. I understand there are other watch services with network which uses the same number as yours, but this is different. I sometimes have to put my phone on flight mode or turn it off, But I expect my watch to do its job. But it doesn't And I also understand that it's not Samsung's fault, it's just the promotion terms with Google Fi they have. But overall it's a good watch.
