I am absolutely in love with this phone. Am I scared to break it ... (yup) ... but so far it is getting the job done and it has so many cool features!!

I have had my phone for almost a month and I absolutely LOVE it. Its awesome how much you can customize and make it ur own.

The phone looks good, and the design is attractive. However, when I opened it and started using the software, the performance felt just average. It doesn’t perform as smoothly as other phones that use the same chip, which was a bit disappointing.

Super interactive and fun phone, compact and powerful.

After an update my phone screen went black, I cant do anything becase I m on vacation out of the country. Not sure what samsung update did but it killed my phone.

After three + months of daily use, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is genuinely impressive for anyone prioritizing portability. Here's my honest take: WHAT I LOVE: The flip form factor is a game-changer. This phone fits in my pocket in ways my previous standard phone never did. Whether I'm commuting, traveling, or just carrying a light bag, the compact closed size is noticeably convenient. Opening it feels smooth and satisfying, and the hinge mechanism has held up flawlessly over three months. The 256GB storage is plenty for my needs—photos, apps, and files without constantly worrying about space. Performance is snappy; apps launch quickly and multitasking is seamless. The design itself is elegant. The matte finish resists fingerprints well, and the phone feels premium in hand. The front cover display is genuinely useful for quick notifications and quick replies without opening the phone. TRADE-OFFS TO CONSIDER: Battery life is the biggest compromise. I'm getting a full day with moderate use, but heavy users or long travel days require midday charging. This is the cost of the compact form factor. The main display, while vibrant, is noticeably narrower than standard phones. Text can feel cramped in some apps, and typing on the virtual keyboard takes adjustment. Scrolling long content feels less natural than on wider screens. Camera performance is solid but not flagship-level compared to Samsung's standard S-series phones. Photos are sharp in good lighting, but low-light shots show some noise. THE VERDICT: The Galaxy Z Flip 7 excels at what it promises: groundbreaking portability without sacrificing core smartphone functionality. If you value compact design and don't need marathon battery life or a wide display, this phone delivers. If battery endurance or screen real estate are dealbreakers, consider the trade-off carefully. Recommended for: Urban professionals, frequent travelers, and anyone who values pocket-friendly convenience. Not ideal for: Heavy users between charges or those uncomfortable with display width adjustments.

It’s a great Phone but why after 3 months my screen started to crease in the middle

Do not buy if you use your cell frequently. I work in an office and have had the phone for maybe 3 months. I have what looks like a dead pixel with RGB light coming through on the lower middle part of the screen. While not large, it is very noticeable. The phone has not been dropped, it has a case, and it's rarely used outdoors. I'm not sure what could have possibly happened to cause said dead pixel / light leak.

This is a great phone, it fits everywhere! I was an S Ultra person for the longest and switched and love it so far. Battery is great, camera is great and has lots of features. Lots of options to customize, including the cover screen. There are different modes to use, like tent mode and you can scroll effortlessly without holding it as it has a little scroll bar and track pad when used half-way folded. Perfect for nighttime doom scrolling. It's a great little all-around phone if you're not looking for something super specific.

I've always been curious about Samsung's flip phones since their first generation came out. I heard recently that the 7th generation was the best time to buy, so I threw caution to the wind and ordered the Z Flip 7. Picking it up was a bit tricky as I had opted to trade-in my old phone but still needed to use said phone to transfer my data, but Best Buy's staff was able to process everything and allow me to get everything transferred and complete my trade-in after. Now that I've had the phone for a couple days, I have to say I'm impressed! The colors are pleasantly vibrant on both screens, the utility of the smaller screen is incredible, the pocket space I save by being able to fold my phone over cannot be overstated, the speed at which everything runs is smooth, and the camera is impressive to say the least. Overall, this phone is well worth the purchase. The only thing I was worried about was the crease the screen has, but Samsung has improved their tech throughout every generation and so the crease isn't noticable (yet).

This is my 1st flip factor phone. I was skeptical initially on how durable or how usable the phone would be! But this phone has been amazing for day to day use handling all the tasks with ease. The camera is very capable, the screen is bright and crisp and the most important factor is that it is super handy and fits your pocket perfectly unlike the bulky bar phones. It would have been even better if it had come with a snapdragon chipset instead of Samsungs own Exynos but since this phone is not for power users, the exynos chipset do get the job done without hiccups.

Great phone! Have had almost no issues so far outside of some UI elements that I am not a fan of, but that can be changed through 3rd party applications anyways. Flipping the phone closed is the best feeling in the world, along with being able to use the small screen for things like youtube, social media, etc. Not a fan of how zoomed in the selfie camera is though.

I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 (256GB) in Blue Shadow, and I’m genuinely impressed. The larger 4.1-inch cover display makes quick tasks so much easier, and the 6.9-inch main screen feels incredibly immersive for videos and multitasking. The phone’s slimmer hinge design feels sturdier and more refined, and I love how compact it is when folded. Performance is smooth, the AI features are surprisingly helpful, and the design gets compliments everywhere I go. Battery life is decent — not amazing — but overall, this Flip7 delivers a fun, premium experience worth having.

This phone is stylish sleek and so versatile! The color pops and the screen when folded allows for easy access to messaging, apps, and more! The speed is onw thing to boast with this phone. Next to no wait time when opening apps.

Bought it open box. The in-store associate was amazing - he let me see the open box product and test it a little before buying. And let me know of the weekend sale they were having for the holidays. And helped walk me through the Best Buy membership information The phone is good - so far no serious issue. Mild software glitches with scrolling on some apps as the screen like to hug the top display and black out the bottom. IMO it's a software problem with the flip. It's a fun phone. I love the camera and how it is so versatile in its use. And the size!! Closed, it has fit into every. Single. Pocket. Amazing. And it flips open to be a solid length/size. Its a delicate phone though, and you definitely need to load up on accessories like a case, wrist strap, screen protectors, camera cover, etc.

I chose this form factor because I keep my phone in my front pocket, and ladies' pockets are small, so I was tired of having it poke out and stab my side when bending over. I was a little hesitant about the fold in the middle, but it's very well designed and implemented, not very noticeable most of the time. And if accidentally try to bend the phone in the opposite direction, it's pretty sturdy and doesn't allow it.

I use the Galaxy Z Flip 7 most of each day. It is my pocket connection to the world and not obtrusive at all in its compact form, yet opens to a larger screen for greater ease of use and seeing documentation. I haven't had it very long, but like my old Galaxy S10, the use is very simple to add apps and move items into folders, and access quickly even when closed. The battery does not deplete very quickly and charges very fast.
