I have a pebble as well as several android wear devices, and I have to say the Gear 2 is what stays on my wrist. I feel android wear is very blah due to the fact those devices lack speakers. The ability to make and receive calls right from your wrist and even take a picture, sets the gear 2 above the rest!

I had purchased the Pebble previously and was not happy with what it had to offer. When I saw the new Gear 2 I knew I had to have one. I appreciate all of the PDA type functions (timer, voice notes, etc.), as well as the little camera and all of the cell phone based apps and the health and exercising apps. In other words, I am very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

Easy to use for answering calls and texts without having to pull out your phone. Built in Heart Rate Monitor is great for those who love to exercise. You can even change channels on your tv.

This was a big improvement over the first generation gear watch, its a little smaller frame which makes it fit more comfortably on your wrist, new OS which looks the same but runs much smoother. This new OS is also why the battery last alot longer then the first gen, i have gone 3 days without charging it and it was only at 50% where the first gen after a full 24 hours it would almost be dead. The home button is in a much better location on the front vs on the side of the first gen. and it seems much snappier in performance and has alot more built in apps the the first gen did not. Overall im glad i upgraded.

nice watch but definitely not necessary i find my self not wearing as i use to ,got a little buyer's remorse a month later lol probably well sell on ebay will lose alot of money but its better than nothing there is so much more that 300 plus can get you ,one main thing i don't like is the size of the face ,,if it was a quarter inch smaller i think i would enjoy wearing it more, great features though , but should have returned when i had the chance ,i still would recommend that you try it out ,,it is a neat device

Great link to device .plenty of apps. Battery life with a little more than moderate use will last 2.5 days before charge soon warning. Watch interface is as wild as you want. Mic and speaker for talking are clear and perfect no one ever knows they are on speaker phone. With more apps coming this device is steps ahead of its time

The watch is awesome. I love the built in pedometer. It works well for answering calls while driving or just working around the house. It is comfortable to wear just like a regular watch. The picture quality isn't bad. It sends the pictures to your phone automatically. It is fun to have. Definitely worth every penny.

I had the Gear 1 and really liked it. However, I had a problem with the charging cord, so they replaced the entire unit. Since I had purchased a warranty, they just gave me the Gear 2, instead of replacing the power cord. YAY!! I am glad they did. I liked the Gear 1, but the features on the Gear 2 are so much nicer. I love the heart monitor, for starters. Secondly, I love that the speakers and the camera are attached to the watch and not the band, like the Gear 1. This is a HUGE improvement!! Now, I can choose to upgrade he band for a different look. This watch always starts conversation and I love that. I am in real estate and having someone else initiate a conversation is very refreshing. The biggest drawback is the price. At $299.99, it is pricey. Is it practical at that price? I really don't think so. Having said this, do I love this watch? The answer is absolutely YES. I have been asked many times, is it worth it? Here is my answer: If you have the money to spend without a hardship, definitely get the Gear 2! If not, definitely don't get it. In short, the Gear 2 is definitely worth having if you can afford it or get it as a gift as I did. Enjoy!!

The gear does what a smart watch should do and it does it well. I gave this as a gift to a woman who had to be able to answer the phone with her watch. Surprisingly, other watches I looked at like the Moto didn't. Although she is very stylish and loves jewelry, she loves the look of the watch aswell as its function.

I upgraded from the first version of the Gear and I love this new watch. It is stylish, functional, and overall just a great device. I particularly like the pedometer which helps me reach my fitness goals. I highly recommend the Samsung Gear 2.

My dad gave me the watch for a Christmas gift to keep up with my phone and I must say it has really helped. It also have great features such as the camera, it takes awesome pictures. I can read and reply to my e-mails, make and receive calls, it's pretty much a mobile phone and computer on your wrist.

This watch keeps me from missing texts when I can't find my phone and I love the step counting ability. I had a Nike fuel band but like the convenience of having so many options on my watch. I would recommend it to anyone, just make sure to dim the screen during a dinner or movie!

I was hesitant to purchase this because of the bad reviews it recieved. Being that I already have a Galaxy S5 I decided to take the plunge. I love my purchase so far. I never used dumb watches because of their limited function but I love this little device. The battery life is great and can easily last a full day under heavy use and 2 to 3 days with light to moderate use. I use Glympse on it to send my location to friends and family at the touch of a button and the vivino app for finding wine reviews quickly. My only issue so far is the lack of apps in the market. I am hoping this improves and is the reason it recieved 4 out of 5 stars.

Watch paired perfectly with galaxy 3. Then when I update phone to galaxy s5 its pairing was flawless. The notification app. Works great. Text, missed calls ,incoming. Best is the ability to answer calls with out fishing for phone. Really love an now want to update to gear s .

My wife uses it at work an since she is constantly busy, she doesn't have to stop what she is doing to look for her phone and answer it.

My husband really enjoys his Samsung - Gear 2 Smartwatch with Heart Rate Monitor. It took him awhile to find all the features only because he has not had to many new tech items to work with. I was hoping he would like it and he was really really happy and surprised!

I wear this everyday even at work where I cnt have my phone out. The camera is awesome especially at amusement parks LOL. You can download different apps and get on the web and txt from the watch even though the screen is Watch size LOL I love it.

The gear 2 looks less bulky that its predecessor with the camera being stream lined. It is nice that the bands may be interchangable. The charging cradle has also changed where it is smaller. This is nice because it isn't so bulky, but it is also easier to lose. The overall use and design of the gear 2 has exceeded expectations.

I have a note4 at first I got a moto360 (awesome watch) but the battery life on it was no good. The gear2 only works with samsung products and is lacking some features from the moto360 but the battery life of the watch is great. Easy 4stars

I absolutely love the gear 2! It has a really good camera for being on that small device. Love all the feature it has, like the camera, microphone to able to take calls. Wished it had the GPS function like the preview Samsung watch had
