Convenient fitness tracker for Galaxy owners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this instead of a Fitbit because it would pair with my Galaxy S7. I did notice the reviews stating the battery is short (I have been able to get an average of 2 days use before charging), but that is nothing really if you charge it while you sleep or during an inactive part of your day. The Under Armour apps on the Gear sync with my company's health provider to get me discounts on my insurance, so that is HUGE. I love that it goes beyond fitness tracking, though. Most convenient is that it takes my alarm settings from my phone and will buzz me when the alarm goes off. No more phone buzzing/ringing on the night stand and waking my wife up. It can show the weather and your calendar, too. Up to 8 apps can be loaded at one time on the screen. Super convenient, durable, water resistant. It is a good buy.

In love with this gear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung has done a great job making this gear compatible to all android phone and iOS phones. The interface is really smooth and also it does a pretty good job tracking my daily activities. Totally worth the money

Do not buy if you plan to sweat while wearing it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product to wear for running and loved its features. All I have done is run with this watch and have even taken it off while showering. Recently the screen started getting glitchy and it was still within warranty so I contacted Samsung customer service and (finally) got a UPS shipping label for the return after 3 follow-ups. OK no problem, at least it'll get fixed and I'll be back to being able to use it. Was delivered back to me today (hurray!) and to my dismay there was a college rejection-like letter telling me they regret to inform me my product is deemed unrepairable due to liquid damage. Excuse me, liquid damage?? Isn't this product water resistant to a claimed 50 meters? I called Samsung again to ask them how they can claim water resistance but not back up a product that is damaged by water, especially when I didn't do anything with it but sweat while running. After talking with the representative and her supervisor, I was informed liquid damage is not covered under warranty. This is very obviously a defective product which is bad enough but then to have Samsung not stand behind it and hang me out to dry? Not OK. That's not how good business is done. I am now no longer a Samsung customer because of this and will be telling everyone I know, not that they care. Please learn from my mistake and dont waste your money. I hear Garmin and Apple make good products.

Great Smart Watch for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the Gear Fit 2 when it fell and broke the glass. This watch band is more secure and like the free year of the Under Armour apps too. I use it for fitness tracking and even though you cant make calls from it, you still can reply to texts or see who is calling you.

Great Fitness tracker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Samsung Gear FIt tracker lines. This one syncs perfectly with the Samsung phones and S Health! The sleep and auto workout tracking is very informative. My favorite part is the way it fits the wrist and doesn't look like a normal watch. The notifications also really come in handy as a wear a suit every day for work and I can see who is messaging and calling me and be able to respond right from the tracker!

perfect for certain activities
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i would say it is worth the money if you get it for the 150.00 sale price. i would not pay 180.00 or so for this. i use it mostly as an every day watch with most of the apps turned off so it doesnt drain the battery and i only get maybe 2 days out of the watch. the only way to really squeeze 3 to 4 days out of it is if you turn off all the notification, apps, and have it on power saver mode which would force you to push the button every time you wanted to see the time as opposed to just turning your wrist. i kayak and fish a lot of this works well for me, especially because im out on the water or around the water quite often. the screen is rather fragile so i would HIGHLY recommend getting the screen protector for it. any bump or brush and your screen will be blemished or scratched. over all i am pleased with this fitness watch and its general performance for what i use it for and recommend it to anyone who is out and about the water. however i would treat it like it is NOT water proof and only submerge it or get it wet when necessary. do not wear it in the shower and what not. the heat will probably cause the seals to expand and let water in. also, if in salt water you might want to rinse it really well to avoid any kind of corrosion to the hardware or seals. just baby it and everything will be ok

Works fine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this smartwatch after going through 2 garmin vivosmart watches in 2 years due to the bands breaking, hoping this band will be stronger. The watch works fine, love the function, nice to be able to respond to calls and texts without touching my phone. Waterproof is the main reason for choosing this watch as I wear it while boating. Alarm works good too.

Good fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my Gear Fit 2 with the Gear Fit 2 Pro. I do like the band better as it does not fall off as much, however it still does not have an accurate step count as it counts my arm swings as steps. Only other real difference from the Gear Fit 2 is that it can be submerged in water.

Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good design, can barely feel it on your wrist. I would like better integration with third party fitness apps. I use UA Connect and it's rather fiddly exporting data from the Fit to the UA app directly. You can't link the Fit directly to UA, you connect it to Samsung's health monitoring app, then that app connects to UA Connect. Leaves a lot to be desired.

Best Fitness tracker that I have ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Gear Fit2 Pro has really helped me get motivated to work out. Very easy to set-up. The watch face is easy to read and if sitting too long it will notify you to get up and move. The step counter is accurate. The Gear Fit works with the Samsung health app that keeps you update with distance, running or walking, heart rate and with any other apps that you want to follow. I have 2 negatives: the daily floor counts are not correct. 2nd when exercise walking the heart rate, at times, is not reading correctly. It is a flat line from where the heart rate was when I started the exercise. This what is uploaded from the watch to the Samsung Health app. Overall I'm very pleased with the GearFit2Pro.

Excellent Sporty Smart Watch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch, it's comfortable, configurable and works very well with Android phones. You can receive (view) the following (but not limited to) on the phone - email, text messages, incoming phone calls (with ability to decline call..only), news feeds, and other notifications. the health aspect is pretty nice, counting steps, calories, stairs (floors), heart rate built in, etc. My favorite is it'll track your sleep so you can see how well you're sleeping (restless or not). This works with Samsung's health app, the only one I've tried so far. I'm not a fan of that app, and it just seems like the wrong "party" to be giving my personal info to, but the app is OK overall. The pro version (compared to the older standard Gear Fit 2) has a standard watch clasp that holds the watch on your wrist. The old watch had a push through clip that made it easy to lose your watch if for example you did yard work with branches or anything that may tug on your watch. It takes about 40 mins to charge every day for me (starting from around 60% remaining battery). Overall, I love the watch!

Fine Fit 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The band is durable (been through heck at work), if not too stylish; but it stays clasped, which is an improvement over the last generation. Biggest disappointment is, that it registers seemingly mundane movements as exercise--maybe I have it on the wrong arm, but it's annoying. Good product for around 160.

Love/Hate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned my Garmin because i wanted a product that can stick to my phone and the Garmin wasn't getting along with my phone so well. Well this is a awesome smart watch, it not bulky, its screen is impressive, but the battery life SUCKS. I turned my brightness to 1-2 (out of 11 which is dim unless you have good eyes) I've turned off the HR off when not working out, ive turned off GPS AND Location and still can barley make it to 2 days, like by the end of a NORMAL day this this will be at %68 and that's horrible to me....if i had the other stuff turned on it would drain a lot faster, and forget leaving town with this thing it will be dead before u get back......if you like throwing this on the charger more than go for it. But it may be returned if the updates cant fix this thing. We will see.

Better Than Expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my iPhone with a Samsung Note 9 & my FitBit Charge didn't work too well on it so I decided to get this smart watch. It's more smart watch than the FitBit for sure. It tracks very well & reports to the phone seamlessly. I can respond to notifications easily. It's battery is not as good, I really can't go much more than a day but I charge when i can & it does ok. Sleep tracking on the FitBit is probably graphically better, but the Samsung gives you a percentage reading of your sleep & I find it correct in that when I get less than 95% I didn't sleep as well & If i get under 90% I really am tired. I like this, I don't think I'll go back to FitBit & it's waterproof. I recommend it. The strap is very comfortable but I haven't messed with removing it as it's harder.

Great design, accurate, love the gps and hrm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall love the design. The curved screen is slick and more form-fitting. GPS and heart rate monitor both work great. Battery life is meh. So far I have been able to get two days max out of it but that is also with it being connected to my phone and bluetooth always on, and exercising most days. I suppose I could get more battery life out of it if I tried, but honestly I have yet to find a good piece of wearable tech *that actually looks good* with a battery life longer than a couple days. Are there ones out there that will last longer? For sure. But this does the job and looks good.

Gift for the runner/swimmer/biker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fitness-based watch was purchased as an X-mas gift for our son, who trains as an Ironman participant, and who trains most often swimming. The aspect of this watch that is most impressive is that it is waterproof, with other watches at this price being “water resistant”. The screen has the capacity to “ignore” water on it, making it more than just waterproof. Otherwise, features are in keeping with those of “the competition”.

Love it more than expected!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm upgrading from the low tech fitbit one so this is a huge switch. I love to customize everything and this does not disappoint with all the watch faces you can get for it, I'm having so much fun with this and its the boost I needed to get moving again. I bought it to pair with my note 8, perfect companions! Now I'm considering a watch in a few months, should have upgraded earlier. Samsung all the way.
