Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the Gear Fit2 Pro for its fitness tracking capabilities, waterproof design, user-friendly interface, and compatibility with Samsung phones. However, they express concerns about its short battery life, occasional inaccuracy in step counting, and water resistance issues that may void the warranty.

Good fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can wear it all day since its light weight. The display is excellent and crisp. There are multiple watch faces that give you summary of steps, floors, calories burnt. Step count is quite accurate. I like the fact that its waterproof too. The only drawback is the battery life. With everyday use my battery lasts a max of 2.5 days

Great everyday connected watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Also own a regular Samsung Galaxy Gear2 watch and only been using the Gear Fit Pro since purchase. Waterproof and Water resistant (can be used to swim and track swimming laps) - pretty stylish and it tracks HRs. And the display is great and visible.

Love The Gear Fit Products!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Gear fit2 and I loved it and now I love the Gear fit2 Pro even more! What's best about the new one is that it's waterproof which is nice when I'm washing dishes or my hands or jogging in the rain! It's also a great gift to give!

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch has so many awesome features. Much more than just a fitness band. Went and got one for my boyfriend and liked his so much I went back two days later and bought one for myself. Battery life isn’t the best. I charge mine everyday, but I believe part of the reason is because all of my notifications for all of my apps get sent to my watch throughout the day/night. Only other slight disappointment is that I can’t respond to texts on it as I have an iPhone, but that’s not a huge deal.

Not consistent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I do like this, but in a good workout when you start sweating a lot, the HR seems to go all over the place.

Much better than my previous Fitbit Versa
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using it with a 4+ year old Samsung Galaxy S4. Properly displays caller name / number and text name / number with complete text, which was not the case with the Fitbit. (The Versa was returned when it stopped detecting my heartbeat about 3 months old.) Everything works, but I have had to turn all workout detections OFF. It completely discharges a fully charged battery in about 2 hours of a detected continuous Dynamic Workout. I thought my 1st Gear Fit Pro 2... was defective and returned it for this problem, but this one does the exact same thing. Note that I this is my 3rd Gear Fit Pro 2.... The 1st replacement would not stay on for more than a minute at a time. I would only purchase this or any other Smartwatch with the Best Buy 2 Yr extended service plan based on the problems I've had.

Great tracker but not for everyday wear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great fitness tracker and it's water proof (enough to not die from sweat anyway) but it's a bit too bulky for most people to wear all day everyday. The battery life is also pretty short for something you're supposed to wear day and night.

Decent Battery Life, Sometimes Measures Incorrectl
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife. She likes how it measures her sleep cycles. She can usually get through two days on a charge. She can use pre-programmed responses to texts which is helpful. Occasionally it will report she has climbed far more flights of steps than she actually has.

Dissapointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second fitness tracker and I am very disappointed. Number one issue is battery life. with all apps disabled and set to power saving mode it will last 2 days. But in this mode it will not connect to my iPhone unless it is taken out of power saving mode. Second the primary app just shows you the battery, storage, and memory levels, and a collection of watch faces, no fitness data. For that you need to launch Samsung Health app. The Samsung calorie app is not very user friendly and not as useful as My Fitness Pal which you can download and use on your fitness tracker, but the results are not shown in the Samsung Health app. Also impossible to enter data in My Fitness Pal on the fitness tracker the screen is to small. You can also use the My Fitness Pal app on your smart phone, but to sync the Samsung with it you must have the My Fitness Pal on the fitness tracker installed and open as well as on your smart phone. The best thing about the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro is the looks shape and feel. It is less likely to get caught or hung up than the previous fitness tracker that I had.

Good to have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this fitness watch to replace my Garmin Vivo fit2. It is really water proof; I jumped in the pool with it, all its function work perfectly and it's a very nice fitness watch to have. My only issue with it is that the battery can hardly last 36 hours and then it goes in sleep mode.

Great all around fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for keeping track of steps, heart rate, and runs. Battery lasts for a little over 1 day including tracking a run. GPS is a battery drainer.

Best smartwatch that doesn't need a SIM card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from Fitbit Charge HR for more smartwatch functions and potential offline music playback. Fit/Design: light, comfortable fit, seems well made. I find that the band doesn't fit very well -- one hole makes the band too tight, but loosening it by one notch provides too much slack. Battery: With always-on display, it's supposed to last 20 hours; without always-on display, it's supposed to last 2 days.I find that the battery does fine until it hits 50%, at which point it drops rather quickly compared to 100% down to 51%. Summary: I use fitness/sleep tracking data rather casually. FYI, there is no speaker, all notifications are via vibration.

Probably the best fitness tracker in its class
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price - this is definitely the best. Here are some pros and cons. I used it with an Android phone (Pixel 3 XL) so my impression is based on my usage. Pros: Large, high resolution, full-color display On-board GPS Shows ALL notifications Has build-in Heart Rate tracker Tracks sleep Tracks MANY metrics during activity, such as HR, Speed and Elevation Auto detect activities such as walking, running, cycling etc. All the other standard tracking such as steps taken, calories burned, floors climbed, minutes active etc Ability of decline calls and (limited) reply to messages Cons On-board GPS takes LONG TIME to find location With GPS on, battery can deplete very quickly, like in a few hours. Band design is proprietary, meaning , if they break, that's it - since Samsung DOES NOT sell replacement bands, and aftermarket bands are of low quality. No built-in keyboard to reply to messages No light-sensor, meaning no auto brightness adjustment. Overall, it's a fantastic device, and when feature-set, build and price (on sale) is taken into consideration, it's a solid buy.

This is a gift for my son...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very happy to see that Samsung changed the watchband. I had the original Gear Fit 2 and loved it. Unfortunately the band was a horrible design so unbeknownst to me it came undone and fell off. I received no help or support from Best Buy or Samsung (their attitude was "too bad for you"). Anyway, I when I saw the new band I decided to give it to my son for Christmas. We'll see how he likes it.

Good watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using the old Samsung watch the lastest model watch is a much needed upgrade to the original watch. I’m very satisfied with the watch and the price I got it for.
