Very trendy looking and it's a smart watch, my kid has been begging for it

There's a lot to like about this "watch", unless you want it to act like a basic watch and display the time for you. This is because the screen times out. You can set a timeout for the screen display, up to 5 minutes, but after it times-out for the first time the watch face remains visible for only 5 seconds at a time, assuming you can get it to come back on. If you are sitting at a desk, driving, etc. and just want to glance at your watch, you can't. You have to rotate your wrist 180 degrees but, even then, it does not always come on. You can touch the watch face to bring it back to life but, overall, it is way too much work to glance at the time. Great gadget, poor watch. I returned mine.

By far the best smart watch on the market. The quality is of the highest.

I like the watch but rubber wrist bands have major design flaw. They seperate from the small metal portion that connects to watch. Watch won't accept a standard band so no band no wear. Sending mine back after 5 days. Beware.

The screen is too small and there are only a few apps that can work on this. Andorid apps do not work on it. You cant make phone calls from this watch. This does the same thing as the 50 dollar cheaper versions.

this is not the 3g version I thought it was, there is no one at best buy to tell you that, or any listing. so when I got home and realized it can only send me to my phone it definitely feels limited

Open Box came locked (reactivation lock) by original owner and Samsung and BestBuy cannot unlock. Only solution is to return and hope a replacement isn't also locked. Buy new or don't buy at all.

I was deeply disappointed on Christmas to learn I was not able to hear sound from my watch. Which was the solely reason I wanted it was to be able to drive and listen to music from my cloud, not utilize my Bluetooth. I read reviews prior to purchasing the this watch, never did it mention that in order to hear sound from the watch I would have to get another phone account!!! This product was a total disappointment and a lost. I gave it away to youngest daughter to play with.

I've had my Gear S2 for about a year and I'm very disappointed. All of the features are great, if they only worked. The activity tracker and the music player won't work at the same time. If I have the activity tracker (either outdoor cycling using GPS or indoors using the elliptical) on and then turn on the music to listen via Bluetooth earbud, it will turn the activity tracker off. And vise versa if I have the music on first and then turn on the activity tracker. And on the odd occasion that they both work at the same time, the activity tracker will turn itself off before the end of my workout. Another issue is that it frequently disconnects from my phone's Bluetooth connection and goes into Standalone mode when my phone is right on my desk or in my pocket. This causes the battery to drain to empty in just a few hours. Today, my watch was fully charged as I left for work at 7:45 am. By 4:30 pm, it was completely dead. I put it on the charger for a quick charge so I could work out. After an hour, it was at 54%. I went on an hour walk and it completely died before my walk was over. I had such high hopes when I bought this watch, but it has been nothing but a disappointment.

Nice product, smooth transition from screen to screen, just a little expensive for me for what it can do. Would buy again if lower price.

After what seemed like countless hours with tech support(6 hours to be exact), visiting best buy, and sitting on hold for another hour with ECR Samsung support it was determined my Samsung Gear S2 was not covered under warranty for water damage. The watch is water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 min. Samsung is saying I submerged the watch for that long and somehow it failed. The watch was never wet for that long and never exceeded that spec. Been a Samsung customer for a long time(Note 3, Note 4, currently Note 5). I doubt I would be having this experience with an Apple watch. I'm done with Samsung. Done. Good Luck with that warranty requests on your S7.

Wife loves it slight issues with S health but overall a great watch

The watch is awesome..However, ike the other reviews mentioned, the band construction is horrendous! Samsung really messed up on this one. If you can, go for the classic version. Had my watch only 2 weeks and both sets of bands (neoprene) broke. The connectors are glued on to the strap...yes, glued on! Samsung must of realized this and did away with this design with both of the new models of the S3. You can buy connectors online to change out the strap to a regular watch strap but even they are a problem. My first connector from Amazon did not fit and Im still waiting for the replacement the seller promised. Save yourself the headache, because youll end up spending the same additional money for new straps and or connectors as you would if you were to buy the Classic version.

Pretty disappointed in recent software updates. Like many I fell into the same sequence of events that lead to an unresponsive constantly booting watch. Took it to best buy samsung tech's and they said that updates sometimes fail and that they couldn't update the firmware on it. Why did I venture away from Apple? Price but I'm heading back now! No support and who makes a firmware update that fails and locks users out of a watch? Unbelievable. read forum's before buying.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT GEAR S3 (GREY) AT BEST BUY LAST AUG 2017 AND THE DIAL BESSEL OR CAP POP OUT. IT'S PRINTED IN THE BOX THAT IS WARRANTED FOR A YEAR IF FACTORY DEFECT. SEND TO SAMSUNG AND CHARGING ME $70 .31 THEY INDICATED THATS OUT OF WARRANTY. SO THEY BARGAIN FOR 50% OFF CAUSE THEY TOLD ME BEFORE I SENT IT NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT

i had the 2nd gen i loved it when it wasnt working right i replaced it with this model it looked great how ever i wasnt told that you can no longer get calls on the watch unless you have a bluetooth headset unlike the first and second gen you can make and receive call on the watch this was not gonna work for me bc i use the watch to make calls every day i only had it for an hour and returned it
