I was a little nervous when i had discovered that i was going to need a watch. Unlike other watches though, this watch helps me throughout the day every single day. From needing the time or date at work, to being able to check my calendar events without having to even get my phone that is down the hall when charging.

If you are looking for a great smart watch for a great price then you can't go wrong with the Samsung gear S2. It has it all. You can receive texts and Facebook notifications and you can get the weather and you can design your own watch face and track how many steps you take and so much more.

I bought this for my son for his 15th Birthday and he absolutely loves it. He is big Samsung phone fan and this watch works very well with his phone. I wish it had a speaker phone and that is the only thing missing since it connects via Bluetooth

Unfortunately, this is my 3rd watch, the first 2 straps broke. Otherwise, it functions Ok, the updates sometimes will not install. It is good for fitness tracking, and instant notifications.

I really enjoyed having this watch it was fun to play with and to learn but it wore my phone battery down quickly. The plastic watch bands are too hot for my wrist. If that's a problem for you steer away from plastic. The technology is fantastic.

My son talked me into getting this gear 2. I have not figured out all it can do, but I like what I've figured out so far. I do think I would like a rectangular case to make reading emails and text easier. Comfortable and cool looking, many compliments.

This samsung smart watch was a hasty, last minute purchase but it was definitely worth it! It does everything I had hoped it would except work on the Sprint network. It can be updated and you can download new apps to it to add to its versatility.

My comparison is based on a Fitibit. This watch does so much more ie. emails, texts, other apps. Con would be that the vibration is no where near the Fitbit. I have used both as an alarm to wake up in the am. Fitibit is so much stronger in this area.

I found this to be very user-friendly I would recommend to a friend. I also think that the preloaded apps should not be there the CNN one is grateful news but the Bloomberg one does not work. Other than that it is very user-friendly and I have not used every accessory or app available to me yet.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Gear S2 Smartwatch. It does everything I want...tells time, counts steps, gives alarms, shows my calendar, and notifies of calls and texts (that I can respond to directly on the watch). There are a lot of features on this watch. I still have some to use.

Wife loves the watch that she uses with her galaxy s6. The only reason why it doesn't get 5 stars is because we are having issues with the s voice. We don't know if it is the watch or we just haven't figured out how to setup up s voice.

The watch is exactly what she wanted, but some things could have been better, yet not a deal breaker. The battery life if not that great, but the function of the watch is absolutely awesome. She loves the exercise functions. Overall great purchase.

It's definitely in its infancy. It's lacking in some key apps and functions for the price. But in time it'll grow on you. The fact that I can check my watch and clear emails without pulling out my phone really helps, as well as control my music.

Main use: steps. Love it. Now that I can ensure I get my 10,000 steps in each day. It's a great reminder. I also love that when my phone is in my gym bag, I can see my text messages now and don't have to worry about checking my phone to see if my kid called or texted. It's great for the gym.

Bought for my wife so she could communicate with the doctors at her office, she loves it! It makes her job so much easier then having to pick up her phone every few minutes to respond to them. Definately a plus to have for your daily routine.

Compared to the iWatch, this smart watch is very basic. The Bluetooth connection is out of range in very short distances...just from one end of my house to the other. Most of the apps do not roll over to the watch. What little apps do work, you're required to look at them on your phone. The texting keyboard requires letter by letter input, just like my cell phone in 2005. I feel like I've spent $300 on a fancy step counter, that doesn't consistently work. It counts towards steps when I'm blow drying my hair, and does not count my steps when I'm pushing a stroller. I love Samsung and was so enthused about the Gear S2. This watch has a long way to go to catch up with Apple.

The Samsung Gear 2 watch is fun and easy to set up. Just download the gear 2 app to your phone and the pairing and setup is almost effortless. You can change the watch face too whatever suits you at any particular time. It has a ton of paid for faces but also,a large # of free ones too.

This watch became my lifeline. I am always miss placing my phone and i use the find my phone option and it is great. I have been using this watch for over a year and refuse to upgrade to the S3 as it is to big for my wrist.

The functions on the watch work flawlessly and it looks and feels great. Finally fits my big rist and there are a ton of apps for it. However the battery life is short and the biggest downfall of them all is it has no speaker in it unless you get the 4g capable one which sprint dosent support. In my mind it almost makes it useless. Its a great watch but as far as the james bond watch that the last one was this comes up as a big failure.

This watch is so much sleeker than the previous gear watches. It measures sleep habits, steps, exercise and does the obvious like shows incoming text and phone calls. I love being able to switch my themes and watch faces.
