For refurbish I have found no cosmetic or functional problems problems. $530 for an i7 with 8 GB ram it is hard to find fault. The only minor aggravation is that it did not come with an optic drive, but I knew that when I bought it, so add another $30 for a external USB DVD drive. I thought buying a about a laptop with an SSD but so far I'm totally happy with the speed and would have still had to put up with Win8. It has one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0. Battery life is seems good.

This has been one of the best PCs I've ever purchased. It's been 7 years and I'm still able to stream video games at 1080p 60fps.

I would highly recommend this computer for business and or gaming!

This item seem beautiful but on power on fail. Maybe installation, hardware error.

The only reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is because of geek squad, not the laptop. I aplaud them for their good prices and wonderful customer service. Although when my laptop finally came I booted it up and there was no operating system. They just wiped the old data and forgot to put windows 8 in. I had to spend 3 hours at best buy figuring that out. I got a refund and bought the same computer again and had to wait another week for that new one to come in. I know that probably doesnt happen often but it was still disapointing. but thats the risk of buying a refurbished laptop. luckily it all worked out in the end and I got everything I wanted....It just took longer

I knew I was taking a risk getting a Geek Squad Certified Refurbished laptop, but I took the chance to save $100. That was my mistake. When I got the laptop, the touchpad never worked properly; I could move the mouse and click, but it would not use any of the other functions, such as scrolling, zooming, swiping, etc. I could not get that resolved, despite several hours chatting with tech support. Then on day I was using it normally, and the screen flashed and went black. It never turned on again. Thankfully, Best Buy has a good return policy, and taking it back to the store was quick and easy without any hassle. The product I got was a lemon, but it had issues that Geek Squad should have found in testing. I'm sticking to new products from now on.

i cant say this is a bad deal, is good for what i paid, but i think it performance should be better than it is, after all, is an i7 processor. i've manage to fix somethings about it, but there are some others that i couldnt, ill keep it because i think 530$ makes it a good deal.

an i7 process performance with $500 out of pocket... go for it.
