The SSD drive is functional but physically in poor condition and with stickers all over the place. I have purchased refurbished before and never had an issue, but this time it was a bit of bad quality.

magician shows they have between 25 and 99 hours on them. they checked out fine in magician. I connected them to a laptop using a SATA cable and magician saw them and recognized their compatibility. When I tried to connect them with a USB3 cable, however, magician saw the drive but said it was not compatible. So, don't use a USB3>SATA cable. I'll be installing these in machines next week. The drives had no physical marks, scratches, etc. and look like new.

Threw in my desktop, launched the Samsung app and this drive checked out as good with only 0.5 TB written data. That's practically new. Did a performance test, tested at or above rated speeds. I'm happy with the purchase. The drive did come in a BB refurb box, not retail boxing, but all the apps can be downloaded from the Samsung's website.

This was an amazing deal for the price. I plugged the SSD into my computer (internal SATA 6GB/s) and it was recognized immediately. The drive needed to be initialized by Windows before use and formatted. Speeds tested via Samsung Magician software are 548 Read, 530 Write sequential. Manufacture date on the drive I received is 2017.10 and had only 14 hours power on time. Only had .5 TB written. Happy with the purchase but with refurbished SSD your mileage will vary.

I received a hard drive with 0 hours and 3 start ups including mine. It has only been powered up 2x before I powered it up. Windows would not recognize it (similar to the DOA Review) but it was because the hard drive was brand new and had never been Initialized. I went to Disk Management and Initialized and formatted it. It works perfect.
